I need to google that. Do auras stop working when you log out? Like the farming aura? I think they do. Rage-uninstalling AVG after installing the 2012 version or w/e. It closed my browser without asking (to be fair, it did say not to go online because it does this.) It also restarted my computer when it finished without asking me.

I'm waiting for this beta tbh. Conceptually, this combat update is absolutely amazing and will make RS a lot better. How well it does in practice... well, we'll start to get an idea in the beta.

Found grimy's spreadsheets. It says 64k a patch. I also forgot to take the scroll of life into account.

So, optimistically, on average, torstols seem to net 50k a patch. (At least, with my math lol.) Brb, seeing if Grimy made a spreadsheet on this lol.

Why only get 92? Because getting 32m is hard enough for me as is. Baby steps. It's like 60m or 70m for me to get 95. 92 gets me SS which is still a useful level on its own. I need to learn to merch like a baws tbh. Except 92 is useless on its own. ^ Actually, I was planning to go to Glacors with it. Fire Surge Glacors, PPS Glacytes. Yeah, rapier Glacytes is supposed to be better, but PPS has less switches and I'm not maxed melee.

Kinda agree. Also, the effigy nerf seems less bad when you consider how close the RuneSpan was... Of course, if they were really smart they'd have released the effigy nerf a week after the RuneSpan came out. The SoF thing seems more like something the investors forced on RS. Can't entirely blame them considering how profitable it must be. Should be interesting.

@ Troacctid, Zerker_Jane, Sy_Accursed, do any of you know what you're actually arguing about now? I've lost track. Your argument seems to have degenerated into more of am "I'm going to prove that I'm right" as opposed to trying to prove any sort of point. Objectively: Runespan is far more fun then old RC. It's less monotonous, less click-intensive then old RC, and gives more exp. As best as I can tell (haven't actually tried it yet) you can put in extra thought and attention if you want more exp. You can't deny that it's a vast improvement over old RC. Old RC was pure repetition except for RS' random events, and maybe the occasional abyss PK'er if you abyss RC'ed. Also, it is good design in RS, imho, to have an afk method for a skill and a better, more interactive and engaging method for faster training. In theory, the RuneSpan is like this.

Blatantly untrue. Non-Runespan runecrafting is running back and forth doing the same action repeatedly. Runespan asks you to search around and cooperate with others to get the best xp. But not searching around and not cooperating with others is still the best rc exp in comparison to non-runespan training methods. Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame: Excuse me while I fit that into my sig.

Well, this will always be happening near a bank. All we need is an official world and place for this so there are always fires lit. Why east Fally? I always thought FoG was the perfect spot for FM. Wouldn't doing that defeat the ENTIRE purpose of this update?
