Your phone: is it your property?
When 95% of the food you are eating are not organic. Unless you eat nothing but "organic" food you are eating genetically altered food. I buy organic, actually. You tell me to stop making things up, but you make up things about me that you have no reason to assume. And non-organic food IS killing us. Sorry. Seriously? We've been living off of non-organic food for God knows how long and it's killing us? Humans evolve through technology, we have been for thousands of years. Guess what, it's not "natural" to do a lot of things. It is not "natural" to use antibiotics or sterilization on equipment before an operation. It is not "natural" to own a car. Point being is that as time goes on Humans come up with new technology that we do in some form or shape take around with us. And I do think that many inventions detriment our work ethic and our morality. It makes work easier and more efficient allowing us to save time doing things we actually want to do. That is how technology works. To make our live easier. Saying cell phones detroy our work ethic is like saying inclined planes destroy our work ethic. you think. You don't know. And guess what, no one really cares what you "think" if it's not backed up. Nobody has to care, and you should probably stop treating me like I am trying to take phones away from everyone. I wanted to know what people thought about the notion of ethics and cell phone use. I didn't want some kind of logical inspection and a consensual agreement/disagreement about why my theory either should or shouldn't be implemented for every human on Earth. Truth is that it ISNT logical. It ISNT scientific. But I will say again, when cigarettes became popular, we didn't have the scientific understanding to know they were cancerous. When we started processing food, we didnt have the scientific understanding that it was dangerous. And now, while cell phone technology is still young (especially the ones such as Blackberries) we DONT have scientific reasons to discourage people from using cell phones. Long before the health food knowledge came around, a man named Jack Lalanne did what many people considered illogical and ate natural foods. Now we see him as a pioneer in the world of health awareness. In the modern age, it is easy to think that we have it all figured out. But the truth of the matter is that scientific logic and reasoning is just not always correct. The only way to have prevented yourself from eating unhealthy food was to illogically believe that natural food was better. Today, there is no scientific evidence that technology like cell phones is ruining our society. But I believe, to a degree, that it is highly possible. Thus, my skepticism. If you're going to debunk every new possible thing because it has the potential to harm us then we might as well stop moving forward and stay where we are never making any kinds of innovations at all. At first, tobacco wasn't as harmful as it is today. It's when major cigarette companies decided to add a bunch of chemicals and nicotine in order to give their products to have flavor and to get their customers addicted. Until cell phone companies begin to have cell phones run on human energy then they are far from being a danger.

Abortion in Canada
Here's one for you - It is a crime to disturb sea turtle nests. Society values seas turtles more than humans. Same with bald eagles. I'll have you know that I've volunteered for a crisis pregnancy center. You'll also be surprised to learn that there are more adoptive parents in the United States than there are children to adopt: its why people have started adopting internationally. Sea turtles are an endangered species. It's a good thing to try and protect the animals so that we can continue to enjoy their presence in this world. There are more than enough humans around which is why abortion is legal and smashing sea turtle eggs is not.

This whole "Life is such a precious thing" coming from pro-lifers is really starting to get on my nerves. By your definition of life, killing an insect is murder. Now you'll probably say that the life of a potential human and the life of an insect are different. Now tell me what has the insect done to deserve death? It ate some of your crops? It sucked your blood and made you itch? That's just surviving for them but nobody ever thinks twice about pulling out the fly swatter or taking off their shoe do they? Life isn't precious to you, human life is and the way I'm seeing it, some people need to be sprayed with bug spray more than the actual bugs. Do you plan on adopting? By encouraging women to give birth and put their child up for adoption and then not adopting yourself then you aren't helping. Sure you made some kid experience life, however good it can get in a foster home or orphanage, but you're just overcrowding the adoption system and making another kid who probably would've been adopted wait longer because they thought the other was oh so cute.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Afterburner/Airsuperiority is 3 Harriers/Helicopters in one game right? Carepackage/Harrier(or Helicopter)/EAD 2, and I don't think carepackages count. I'll just go with Pred, Precision, Harriers. After that, Pred, heli, Pave Low. Care Packages count for the multiple UAV/CUAV challenges. I see no reason why a Precision Airstrike from a CP wouldn't count.

You "chose" not to do your homework at home, so "choosing" to do it at lunch is irresponsible too? In my opinion, not doing anything is even less responsible.

People actually believe that the Grass starter will evolve into a Grass/Dragon. Tha'ts never going to happen as it didn't happen with Charizard and Sceptile. I think the final evolution types will be: Grass - Nothing else really goes with it. Fire/Rock - I can just imagine this think evolving into a boar with rock hard tusks Water/Ice - POLAR BEAR RAAAAWWWR

Whats your School's Rival?
The Thunderbirds. They're in the same school district as us and we share the same stadium. Our games together are annoying huge.

Abortion in Canada
A little off topic here then. Since you see it as murdering a person then how would things like driver licences, legal age for sex, legal age to drink alcohol be done? Since atm you only do/have it when you are like 18/21 etc years old. How do you know when a person is really 18/21 years old? (Or am I talking out of my [wagon] now?) Well there's the fact that most people don't keep track of the date of conception...

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
More chances for me to get kills towards cold blooded pro. Why not just shoot a heli with an RPD for that? Can do it in 2 choppers if not 1. Kills, not hits.

I don't see why, regardless of reason, a woman should have a right to murder another person. And yes, pro-lifers (such as myself) will continue to protest until all abortion is illegal, except in cases where the life of the mother is threatened. It's not a person, it's a fetus. A shell of what will become a person. It's just preventing a life from happening not ending one. If you want to illegalize preventing life then why should masturbation, condoms, and birth control be legal?

Your phone: is it your property?
If you want to churn your butter instead of buy it from a store, nobody cares. If you take stairs instead of the elevator, people sometimes admire you for being active. If you bike instead of use a car, people understand that you might either be active or are trying to be green. If you don't have a cell phone or a phone at all, people think you are a social misfit. All my friends use cell phones, but if I refused to even own one, do you think that they would be willing to send me letters or walk to my house if they wanted to talk to me? I'm frustrated by the fact that our teleophone technology is less of a luxury and more of an expectation. Hell, a lot of jobs WILL basically require you to have a cell phone. No one is "expecting" you to have a phone. You'd be choosing yourself not to "conform" to having a cell phone and making it harder for your friends to contact you. It's not their fault that they don't want to mail a letter to your house that will take a day or two to arrive when they could send a text in less than a minute.

But how would you know? It isn't as if there's some sort of stock of, say, souls or something, just sitting around thinking "Yea, I'm gonna live!". It's just something that wouldn't happen, nobody (including it) would ever know that it never happened. I believe in some sort of soul theory. Kind of like the Law of Conservation of Mass but with souls. I think there's a set number of souls in the world and when you die, the soul travels to the next "vessel" (newborn) which can be a human, dog, fish, lion, whatever is being born. the soul contains your personality and general intelligence such as memorization skills. With this sort of belief, I can justify abortion with, "It's only destroying the vessel, the soul will find another one."

Parades are fun What's it for? I don't know really, it's just a big annual parade downtown with ~160,000 spectators. There are a lot of participants that aren't bands, but it does have some sort of significance to us so we can achieve some sort of "Gold Standard" thing. Our school hasn't marched outside of this parade for like 20 years. The black and red hat makes me look like a Nazi or something... Oh dear god you guys wear full uniforms when you march parades?

You don't always have to use it. It's just there. Go grow your own food, dig your own well, churn your own butter, hunt with stone tools, and walk to wherever you need to be. After all our ancestors did it without complaining. Having supermarkets and cars must make us extremely lazy. No I do not. and even if you are expected to use them, you don't have if you don't want to. Yes. The human body itself is extremely weak compared to the other animals of the world. If we can have something to enhance our strength or do something by thinking about it then life would become easier and save times for the things we actually want to do. While teenage girls are pissing annoying with their constant texing, having a cell phone isn't going to cause a robot uprising that you seem to think will happen. So you're willing to grow your own food, dig your own well, churn your butter, hunt with stone tools and walk everywhere?

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
The helicopter in CoD4 was annoying because it prioritised shooting the players with the highest scores, it was incredibly annoying to be beasting and then have to hide because it spent the whole minute shooting at you. Dogs in my opinion were as bad, if not worse, than the killstreaks in MW2. In MW2 you can take out a Chopper Gunner, its a single thing, and CB counters it to some extent, but in WaW dogs would keep rushing you for the whole minute and could take like three shots from a bolt action rifle to down. I actually wouldn't miss killstreaks much, it would be a great incentive for people not to camp. MW2 has a lot of big, I mean BIG, problems, but its still a a good laugh and a lot of fun. Also I'm not complaining when I'm the one circling the map in an AC-130, getting quad and triple kills whilst the 13 year olds on the other team stand there and do nothing. then once you die you can switch to cb and switch back after it's down and you die i'm just sayin if you're going to complain about something at least attempt to do something about it. So you're saying it's our job to do that? It's everyone's job. If you aren't using a sniper rifle or a riot shield then there is absolutely no excuse to not use a Stinger. What if you're using the FAL and don't have a trigger finger? Probably doable, but close range would be tough. If you can't fire the FAL fast enough when you meet someone around the corner then why would you use it?
