NHL... I have created a league for anyone who wishes to participate. The draft is on 10/10 and you DO NOT have to be there (it's a multi-list, not live draft). Just leave your name and team name in your post. Rules: 1. Must know SOMETHING about NHL. I'm not saying you have to research or anything but at least know some hockey. 2. I bought into Canadian when it was roughly $.70 American for one Canadian. $$PROFIT! The thing I don't like right now is the entire foundation of a dollar is based on the faith of the people in that dollar. It doesn't make much sense really.

Cool. I first heard it on WoW, and it has become more prevalent since then. Guess it's because of whatever forums you posted then...

I swear everyone who posts on the WoW thread are now posting like classic wowers...you know with all the QFTs, (epic) fails, wins, and all that jazz. It's pretty cool actually. It's not just strictly WoW slang though. I've been doing it since before WoW was even announced : language like that has been around for at least 100 years. I dont know where people get the idea that its WoW. When I came to these forums 2 years or so ago, I never heard that kind of language. I never heard win, fail, epic something, or anything. I switched to WoW...and all of a sudden I hear these terms. Maybe they were not invented by WoW, but maybe it was popularized by it.

Sorry, I looked but I couldn't find a "Pain in the arse cat". Wow, that was really cold. Heh, pretty funny though.

I'm really into hockey but there's too many tips. GO for Crosby of course. I would suggest a young team. Old guys tend to be inconsistent as do rookies. My favorites are 3rd-4th years. The key, however, is to get an EXCELLENT goaltender.

Recently, I have noticed a lot of extremely ridiculous and stupid topics regarding news that no one cares about. For example, "man dies because an armless man headbutts him, man dies because alligator bit him". NO one cares. It doesn't affect us and it is a waste of space. I suggest we make a sticky for these trivial threads just like we did for youtube. I understand if it's something major like elections, death of someone famous (discussion), or anything of that sort. However, the death of an average Joe, no matter how ridiculous it was, should NOT be in OT.
