  1. My issue with Daoism: They believe withdrawing from society altogether is the path to the "Dao". They say that civilizations are unnatural; thus, we must not participate in public life. That strikes me as foolish and extremely contradictory. Just thought I'd throw that out there...you know.
  2. Sorry, but you aren't one to talk, Ray. I think homosexuality deserves its own thread... Serephurus, I remember having intense religious debates with you (I being on the Islamic side you being on the Christian side). Why the change? What happened?
  3. Took em long enough I'm out of STV! When do the decreased xp for leveling changes go into effect?
  4. "Nope the points don't matter, they're just like that cute new thing your baby learned to do" 3/5 on wit 4/5 on funny 1/5 on understandability "Oh squiggly line in my eye fluid. I see you there lurking on the periphery of my vision. But when I try to look at you, you scurry away. Are you shy, squiggly line? Why only when I ignore you, do you return to the center of my eye? Oh, squiggly line, it's alright, you are forgiven"
  5. We have a bouncer as one of our assistant principles. Ever since my school hired him, there's been no major fights. This guy is massive. Another thing, our school has a "No Tolerance" policy where you can get expelled for getting in a fight (even minor). By the way, I go to the "best" school in Georgia (yeah, it's not saying much, but it's like an average school up north; fairly good), and my school is still semi-ghetto. If you go to inner Atlanta all I have to say is good luck, and I hope to see you graduate with all your appendages.
  6. It is human nature to classify things. If you are unclassifiable, people will look at you funny. Another point, your statement is a paradox. Doesn't society tell you that you should feel bad if someone looks at you funny? According to law (where I live at least), they cant physically do something. If you want to be an individual, you shouldn't care.
  7. Chuck Norris counted to infinity--twice. This should go in forum games.
  8. Banned because you think I think he shouldnt be in jail
  9. Banned because you actually care or know your post count.
  10. Wow, you are so ignorant. You can't even imagine what I went through. No point in arguing with you though, you're a stuck up idiot and you know it. What do you want us to do? Cry for you? OK: Read the rest of my message, you moron. Too bad YOU EDITED IT AFTER I posted (or clicked "quote") By the way, I'm still crying for you...if that makes you feel any better.

  20. Eye for an eye means: If someone hurts you, you hurt them back. So what the quote is saying is that when you keep doing that, soon the whole world wil be in chaos/dead.. ? Not it doesn't. It's part of Hannarabi's Code, one of the first governmental mandates in history. The law stated that if you blind someone else, you will be blinded- the harshness of the punishment equals the harshness of the crime (same goes for all crimes, not just the blinding example). It's rather barbaric and vengeful, and thus it has been abandoned as a part of law, but it's still a logical concept. The irony of the twist on that part of the Code is that it doesn't actually make the whole world blind; the punishing ends after the one being prosecuted recieves his or her punishment. Hm :-k . Gandhi said it... 0/1E1000 0/1E1000 0/1E1000 Dont forget to post a quote poindexter. "Going to church and calling yourself a Christian is like going into a garage and calling yourself a car"
