I'm divided between Firemaking and Agility... but I guess I'll vote for Firemaking, at least Agility has some utility. On the opposite end, I don't get why so many people dislike Farming and Herblore. They're some of my favorites, although I level farming pretty slowly. Oh, and Runecrafting is pretty cool too. Runecrafting through the abbyss is fun 8-[

You didn't look hard enough, i guess. It's been posted lots of times already and it's even on the official Tip.It construction guide already.

1. Fire Cape (I will get it at 76 combat, it's on my goal list) 2. Legends (almost always on) 3. Obsidian cape (Only when fighting, it's better so what can you do) 4. Other capes (all the same)

Relleka!!! That's where I have my house, and I chose it that way (I have 65 construction, could move it anywhere). Not a lot of stuff to do around, but I love the norse mythology look of it. And it's pretty quiet too, great for relaxing.

Quite unlikely. I mean, Teftftw xxx are lvl 3 guys. Have you seen many lvl 4s pking lately?

World 7 it is, my Tetftw 11 has already been schooled and is waiting in Lumbridge.

There is no "checkpoint", at least not as in other games. The concept of a checkpoint implies that you can resume the saved status from the checkpoint at any moment. You die after the checkpoint, you can try again from that point without having to start all over. You can keep trying and trying until you beat it, without having to start over. This isn't what happens with the fight caves. If you log out at the end of a wave, you can log back in and continue playing from that point. But that's it. If you die, you're dead and have to start over, there's no progress saved you can go back to. You can't go back and restart from the saved point if things are going badly. It's nothing like a checkpoint. I'll tell you what it is: a good thing! There's lots of health tips about taking your eyes off the computer screen every hour or so, letting your eyes and mind (and even your clicking finger) rest. Jagex are just helping people do this, and it's smart. Besides, just because someone can stay logged on 2 hours straight it doesn't mean that they are better players than someone who have to log in 20 minutes at a time. Stop whinning already, this is a very good thing for everyone, even for people who already have the cape. You might lose it and need to get it back, you know?

The main problem right now isn't it takes too long to get in. The thing is I can't keep my connection on for longer than a minute. It just drops by itself, and I know it's not a problem with my internet connection because everything else works fine. World 2 is screwed up, I'm glad it doesn't just dislike me and it's happening to others too.

Right now, only after a few weeks, there's already as many people ranked on construction highscores as there is in farming. I say give it a few more weeks and there'll be as many as in slayer and runecrafting. It's an expensive skill so it isn't easy for everyone, but I think it's fun to the majority of players. You can't ever make statistics on what you've heard from people around you or what you've read on forums. You have to look at cold hard numbers, and numbers show that it's wrong to say that most people don't like construction. If the addition of POH's isn't a great evolution in Runescape, I don't know what is.

I second that If I'm allowed to change noob to newb, I'll second that also. I don't think I'm a noob, but I don't mistake newbs with noobs. Noob is the lvl 102 that just asked me "free stoof plz, plz, plz" in Falador. Sad, sad noob. When you see a lvl 102 beg from a lvl 76 you know you've hit rock bottom.

Why is merchanting considered a bad thing, I don't get it?! Why do you get so defensive by me saying you made a good deal? It's a compliment, take it. I mean, u said this: So, you got some business going, your buyers did not bother to. All the power to you. Even your point about selling in bulk only proves my case. Maybe the use of overpriced in my sentence is wrong, you're right. If I say you sold at the top of the price range, does that sound better? Of course, nothing of the above means that the price of cosmics is X or Y. You can throw all the math at me that you want (believe me, I'm a math student, I can take it) but that doesn't change the fact that it's the market that sets prices, not common sense, not some calculus based on the xp per hour. Certainly not when you compare two spells, one that can be cast by about 15k players and the other by 850k players, but this is besides my point, which is: you don't set the prices, "most of the people" does. However, you're free and very welcome to sell/buy higher or lower than it. I didn't think through what you posted about the essence, obviously you're absolutely right.

Things aren't worth what you think they are "in reality". They are worth what most think and are prepared to pay. *You* made a good deal, be happy about it. You sold an item at an overpriced value, well done. It's called merchanting and it's a good skill to have, nothing bad about it. I wish I had a good merchanting ability, I almost always feel like if I was a little more patient I'd get better deals. In addition, if you got your essence at 40 each you either bought it before the update (which was smart and lucky) or you did some more great merchanting there:) Congrats on the runecrafting levels.

I don't get it. Even if you're a meleer at heart, and attack and strength are your bestt stats, you just need to get 40 range or 66 magic to get into the respective guilds. You're not banned from them at all. Why should the Warrior Guild be different? I mean, 130 combined Attack and Strength seems like a good enough requirement to me. My RS character is a mage and that requirement keeps it out (for now, at least).

Aha... you could have said that earlier... Ok, if you get the tea from the demon servant it gives the same bonus as if you made it yourself from teak shelves 2. Nothing wrong with the going theory after all;)

I'd read before what I said above, seemed to be the going theory. As it seems your example disproves it. So I guess we're back to it also depending on your cooking level. From your stats, it seems that's most likely the correct guess.

Are you absolutely sure of what you posted? Maybe test it to make sure? I'm at lvl 60 too and I get +2.

It depends on the Shelves you have in your kitchen, on which cup you get from them. At level 67 you can put up teak shelves 2 and get +3 construction from the guilded cup. I'm not sure which is the first one to give the +2 bonus, as I never got the +1, but I know of people who have.

I wouldn't be as melodramatic and say "I have no friends!". I do have lots of friends in real life, thankfully. None of them play Runescape, however. And in about half a year of playing RS I haven't made any friends in the game either. Truthfully I play the game quite competitively towards skilling, so that doesn't leave a lot of time for socializing. I need to attend a Tip.it event, haven't ever been able to fit one into my schedule. Saturdays are actually very bad days for me, I usually don't play RS at all on Saturdays, it's my "going out and partying" day. If they were changed to week days, I'm sure I'd socialize more with the Tip.it community.

As was said, double nats. Definitely the best money maker there is, runecrafting through the abbyss with over 91 Runecrafting. I can already make almost half a mill an hour that way, and I can't even use the biggest pouch yet. With the biggest pouch and over 91, I'd make 1 million plus an hour. edit: This is of course if we're considering skill based money makers. If not, merchanting, if done very well, can be an even better money maker.

What's the point of all these "OLD!" posts? I mean, the first one makes some sense, let's the creator know it's an old joke incase he didn't know it. But beyond that, there's absolutely no point. I, for one, didn't know it and thought it was funny. If you already know it, just go somewhere else. Trust me, there's lots of other interesting topics around.
