im going to agree with you on this one, when i first started playing it was quite honestly fun, just me and a friend (who got me into it) figuring out what to do and where to go... falling for the luring trick (yea it happened to me) then having to get my things back... It was an adventure, now im 100cb and all i really do is slay, chat and do clue scrolls... only do quests that i have to, to get to a slayer assignment... i dont honestly find it fun until the sara or zammy mage gets me to about 3hp because i forgot to bring food that time (hehe) its a thrill then. The MOST annoying thing about the game these days has to be everyday people around you, i would pay jagex some ridiculas(sp?) amount of money if i went round ONE DAY without seeing "noob" or "stfu" or anything like that, id also like to be able to go into the wildy without armour on and not get killed because what are they gaining? honestly.... anyway ill stop because i think ive strayed off topic, but all in all good rant : J

Pretty much sums up my feelings. If we don't ask for advice, we don't want any. I trained on Knights because I found it easier. Just leave us the hell alone unless we ask for advice. But when someone nice enough to give you advice BECAUSE YOU ASKED FOR IT comes along and they're a lower level than you, you're going to blow them off, correct me if im wrong.... (glad i had a second look at this thread lol) J

oooook... try this, assuming you have limewire or other such d/l software. search for any well known song at 9-11am and check how fast it finds it, then download it, check how fast it does that too. Now delete the song, wait til 7-10pm and try to find the same song again and download it again checking times and such once more. Although there will be more clients avalable to download it from, the later one will infact be slower, sometimes considderably(sp?) so. Its a mixture of two things, one your computer being generally crap and on its last legs, and secondly it has alot to do with how much usage a server is getting. If a server is near its full capacity it is having to send alot more information in a very short amount of time to alot of different places (1980 different places on rs servers) so the server instead of malfunctioning and breaking slows down and sends all the info as fast as it can without breaking its self. Its like overclocking your computer (if you know what that is), your computer will indeed go ALOT faster and process info alot quicker but you also have an extreeme overheating problem and general danger of shorting your computer. So the servers and your computer will be running as fast as they can but they're never going to be on top form with thousands of other people trying to use the same systems. Hope that helped J

i know how annoying this is, though im 100cb now (yey) i still get called "nooby level 100" by people that are 100 them selvs or 101 etc, so they are calling them selvs a noob (doesnt bother me) but what really grinds my gears is when they keep on at it and say things like "ha i pwn ur ttl lvl nub"... great... whats yours then? 90+ fletching and wc no doubt? maybe cooking, its all great and well to have high skills to prove you play more and want to be the best but theres no need to be an arse about it. so i have lots of friends who are level 30-70, so i do drop parties of rune things and enjoy doing it, so i can kick your arse because i happen to like defence more than strength. Its how we choose to play and no one should be able to tell you to do it any differently, prove your point, batter them with intelligence because near enough no one on rs (minus many tipiters) is smart enough to come up with a response except noob or stfu. Be happy you're one of the few in the world who may grow up to do something wondrefull with your life and have many friends because you choose not to be an arse : if it wasnt on topic.... i dont really care i made my interpritation(sp?) of what you said lol, hope it helped :XD: J
