It depends what program youre using to measure it. According to speedtest.net I get a 1750kb/s; ~200kB/s. Using a torrent/Steam download at optimised settings [+ a little tweaking I did to my registry, disabling the 'Nagle Algorithm'] I tend to max at 180kB/s. But even while theyre downloading I can continue to browse using the spare idle bandwidth. Unless you drastically mess with your bandwidth settings, youre not likely to use 100% of your bandwidth, even if its only 25% as you say. Lets not go into binary prefixes. For sake of argument, its pretty negligible.

Be careful not to confuse kiloBITS (kb) with kiloBYTES (kB) [8 bits = 1 byte]. Learn the difference, it could save your life. Different programs/sources interchange them without differentiating.

Oh, yeah, I always forget just how powerful those NASCARs are compared to F1 cars. Because theyre also really likely to break at the slightest collision. Except NASCAR go round in circles, only experience a mere 2G in cornering and max out at a pitiful 90mph whereas F1 perform a circuit [taking right turns, no less], get up to and above 5G with 200mph speeds all in nothing more than a carbon shell designed to break up in a crash.

I smell bias. But I suppose ill say Sony. Although I first played a Nintendo console (NES) and have owned/played pretty much every console theyve made, they all feel very samey. They cant seem to get past theyre first characters of Mario/DK/Yoshi/Link and now Pokemon. Plus they always have to take that different route, just to say "Hey guys, were DIFFERENT". The PSX always felt quite secure, although the discs would play up a bit more with scratches, the console itself felt just 'better'. Whenever I pick up an N64 they always feel kinda brittle, as do the controllers, but PSXs and controllers always feel well made. Plus I guess I do enjoy nice graphics rather than swinging about a little white wand pretending im playing tennis or something. Essentially, yes. As if the threads comparing the PSP to the N64/NDS werent already diverging down the path of Sony vs Nintendo. But its weird. If Sony and Nintendo hadnt fallen out all those years ago the PSX and the N64 wouldve been compatible with each other and maybe they might have done that with all their relative consoles there after.
