Steelix/Swampert (or any water/ground combo like Gastrodon) Steelix is resistant to a lot of stuff, but is weak to a few types. Swampert is only weak to grass.

Personally, I try to stick to light/bright sneakers. If I want to wear black shoes, I'd wear leather. It's just really hard for black sneakers to stand out. The downside is that white sneakers get dirty like crazy.
