My Retardation and the World's Loss of Integrity
revblonde replied to revblonde's topic in General Discussion
Ummm.... if you're referring to me, I am. And if you're referring to him, then right on... I guess. -
Which reminds me, earlier today someone tried to sell me a "rare black lobby" for 300k. What's worse is he had a buyer.
-
So anyway, how the heck are you guys taking these shots of you all playing. Is it a third part program, or something integrated with Windows that I'm unaware of. Please advise.
-
Dude... I'm in the military. Do you honestly think I have the time to play? NOOOO!!! It takes me a long time to train up, earn money, get what I need because of my unavailibility. However, I'm still in there. Hookin' and jabbin'. I've lost my money, armor, what seemed like everything, but I kept pushing and eventually I was a better scaper for it. You can't lose sight of your goal, and the reason you started playing in the first place.

My Retardation and the World's Loss of Integrity
revblonde replied to revblonde's topic in General Discussion
Exactly. I couldn't put it better myself. I mean, really what was 500 ess anyway? He definitly could have made the money for his precious Rune legs faster by just working for me rather than trying to sell 20k worth of ess. -
Well, I guess due to technicality and my misspeaking my ignorance level has just increased by one.
-
I've seen "Noob to Life" used a few times. Usually by a more mature player towards a young player. Thought that was funny.

Don't know if anyone else has discovered this but, I am in Mort'ton slaying shades. I am the only player here and I just walk in and I don't have to even click to attack. I'm constantly be barraged by shades and afflicted that it is forcing me to "auto". Hmm.... *Note: I am having to keep an eye on my health though... every now and then one of the buggers hit me.

**Before I start I want to start with stating that I know I'm [developmentally delayed]ed.** So today I'm on world 16 crafting runes, paying people to run ess for me. Well, a certain individual comes up to me to be payed and take some ess. In a momentary lapse of intelligence I click the "offer all" option and give him 500 ess. I accept, he accepts. Well, within about ten seconds I realize what I have done. I immediately start texting, "I gave you all my ess." He logs off. He logs back on and then I PM him, asking if he would give me back my ess. He starts to play coy and tells me that I need to get him a set of Rune legs or he'll sell it. I wasn't sweating it too much, like I said it was only 500 and could be easily obtained once more. However, I tell the guy, "You could have some integrity and be a man and give it back and we continue to do business, or be a dirtbag and don't and then we won't do business again." He ofcourse chose the latter. So though I messed up, the point is the guy still should've gave it back, no harm no foul. I can honestly say I've been on the otherside of a similar situation and the person's property was returned. I guess noone knows the value of Honor and Integrity anymore.

Well, I guess I'm doing alright then because I was able to tame the wild beast that Wendy's calls a grill. I also deligently provided fresh Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers to each and every cutomer with the minimal amount of problems. Yes! I have amounted to something.

Anybody else anal about organizing items while training?
revblonde replied to jabb's topic in General Discussion
Wow, I honestly believed I was the only obsessive compulsive in Runescape. I have a lot of OCD habits that are involved with RS, like my screen has to be positioned just right, same with the forums or "other" browser screen I have up while playing. My Dew has to always be in front of the right speaker. I must always be wearing the same Sponge Bob boxers. J/K About the Dew. -
Well, I can personally atest to coming close to such death by random events while browsing forums and such. However, that is why I became smart and have a smaller window for the forums and so I can still see my character and what is happening around him.

Wow, I guess Jagex should be sending me a ban e-mail. When I'm fishing or woodcutting I just click a tree or fishing spot and walk off to grab a drink or something. Does that mean I can't do paperwork while I play either??? *Note: I think that it mainly is directed toward macroers who set up to train via their programs at night then go to bed and wake up in the morning.

Talk about learning something new everyday. I was always under the impression that cows did not have horns and bulls do. You live you learn, eh?

Hey. question here, needs to be answers. concerning lvl 3
revblonde replied to cupnoodles1m's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, but pure trainers usually will socialize, unless it's a autoer. Autoing and anyone who do it are [developmentally delayed]ed. I mean, it's totally unfair, I personally train myself spending every minute clicking the tree, fishing spot, or rock. Yeah it get old, but I do it. And having two accounts is too much of a hassle anyway. I would get way too confused. -
my story about being scammed, but how did he do it!?!?!?!?!?
revblonde replied to pingu2k4's topic in General Discussion
Um... glad I'm not you?! -
Tell me about it. What is even more sad is that most of those kinds of people are twelve or eleven years old. It's a shame to see someone so young, so corrupted already. It's also sad that people that act like that because it makes them cool or look hard. In reality 90% of those trash talkers wouldn't dare confront you in person.

why didn't jagex make the world-switching much easier????
revblonde replied to timtimtim's topic in General Discussion
The only time I really ever world hop is when I'm selling off loads of coal or lobbies, or am buying something. I must say that it is a much longer process than it really needs to be, or even can be. -
Yes it does. Kind of like the dollar would if the U.S. decided to mint another million dollars without having the gold (which is the back bone of all currency) to back it up. Thing with a "virtual world" is that there's nothing like that to back up the value of 1 gp like a dollar. An extremly excessive amount of gp can be pumped into the game at any time since there is nothing to keep it in check. ***I got pulled away from the computer and have lost my train of thought, will finish post later ***

*~*Something regarding n00bs/newbs...*~*
revblonde replied to Pinkbullet3's topic in General Discussion
The term noob is really overused in runescape though. I remember walking around runescape for my first month constantly being greeted by other players with that pet name. It really aggrivated me because half of the people that would call me one would then in turn go on to do some noobish thing, like the mining thing that bonus_malus mentioned. I try to stay away from using the term unless someone really shows their behind and deserves it. Though in passing I try to be more helpful to newer players because there were a few higher levels that extended me the same courtesy. -
And as it has already been hinted towards, supply and demand will take effect as the start to fade away from the runescape world.
-
I would have to agree with melee as well, though as several have said before mage is very useful as well. I haven't really seen much need or had the slightest desire to consentrate on my ranging skills... as you can see, *points downward* besides being able to complete quests that require leveling that skill.

Absolutely correct. :D
