Was famous because of her/his combat level mainly. Famous pkers Due to the controversy of famous pkers, various users will have to recommend a famous pker for a pker to be added. What is "RSC"? RSC is means "RuneScape Classic". RuneScape Classic was the previous version of Runescape 2 (the game 99% of people play). RS2 was released in December 1, 2003. RSC remained open to everybody (f2p and p2p) until Jagex changed it to p2p only. Then, sometime in mid 2005, it was changed to "you must had played RS1 within the last 6 months to be able to play it AND be a member". There are currently very few people tht are able to play RS1. Runescape Classic is also called Runescape 1 (RS1). RSC Info News: Section about Runescape being bought removed. I wrote it on Dec 8, 2007. When I didn't know as much about RS1 as I do now. The following facts are from when RS1 was first opened to when RS2 was launched. 1. The member version of the game was launched on February 27, 2002. 2. The maximum combat level is 123. Prayer did affected combat level but not as much as in RS2. 3. You could only gain exp after killing the monster. 4. When your fatigue reached 100%, you had to go "ingame sleep" until it lowered. This was not in the game in the beginning. It is an addon ;). 5. You could (still can) duel/stake anyone anywhere. When you died, you only lost your STAKED items and you spawned in Lumbridge. 6. Click here to view the original "planned" RS layout. This is not confirmed, so you can believe it or not. 7. Crumble Undead was 98exp per shot. 8. Al Karid (as it was originally called) was added a week or 2 after the game opened, before that it was just ocean. 9. There was no Adamant armor in the beginning. It was slowly released piece by piece. Same thing with rune. After Rune armor was integrated into the game (but no-one had it since no monsters dropped it or no-one could make it). 10. Beer could be drunk infinitely to raise your strength to level 99 which was promptly changed after word spread. 11. There was no buddy list at first, you used to have to type "tell (enter name)" then type your message and it would send your message. 12. In the really early stages of RSC (before the wilderness), The Sabres had a huge influence. This is a pretty cool quote: Largest War: Barbarian Village Debacle (Mithril Clan and RPKers versus EARTH Alliance, Syndicate Alliance, Dark Syndicate Alliance, NKKA Clan, and Sabres) this war filled up an entire server, almost 75% of the approximately 1200 users signed in were fighting this war. - Taken from this website 16. The Wine trick. This was when you drunk wine down to level 8 or below and attacked dummies. They gave 5 attack experience and no hp experience. You would see level 13s with rune 2hs. 17. If you stood in one location for too long, it gave you a warning, saying that you needed to move or risk being logged out. So if you were say, waiting with your general store screen menu open, you had to close it and take a step and reopen it in order to not be logged out every little bit. If you didn't move, you would be logged out and have to type random text to be allowed back in. 18. Player names were case sensitive at first. Proof can be found by clicking here. Stories of how RSC first opened First Cyberwars, a game Andrew created, closed. Soon after, Runescape was opened. The majority of Cyberwars players moved to Runescape. Second Runescape opens up for the very first time publicly on Jan 4, 2001. RS was very different back then. When you made your account, you would select what you wanted to be: Wizard, Warrior, Ranger, Adventurer, or Necromancer. When you had made your account, you would select to be a "Pker" or a "Non Pker". Back then, you could attack anyone anywhere (except Lumbrdige) 5 levels above or below you. Third DeviousMUD, a game created by Andrew Gower, is shut down. It was never released to the public. Only Andrew Gower, Paul Gower, Constant Tedder and some of their friends (Lightning, Rab, Merlin, and Gugge) were the only ones to play it. It is also commonly believed that DeviousMUd is where Andrew & Paul got their ideas for Runescape and that it was the "basis" of RS. You would buy a Disk of Return it from Throndor in the Dwarfen Mines. There was an 'Spin' option on it. You would spin it to get to the black hole and out of the black hole. How it looked when Bunny Ears and Scythes were dropped Old 3d renders of RS1. Again, these are old 3d renders, I think before the wilderness came out. So not everything that is currently in RS1 is in these pictures. Truly a LEGENDARY picture. Everdred, the first person to 99wc and 99 in any stat! He achieved 99 woodcutting on August 28, 2001 L6vi fighting Andrew in a duel (first picture). L6vi kills Andrew (second picture). L6vi is the first player to kill a J-mod.   4. It was used ALOT during mid 2006.. since then.. it has disappeared.. I have seen absolutely no-one using "pl0x".. what happened to it -.^? let me gain 2.3m xp for lvl 123 pl0x!!!
  5. Some days ago me and my friends (122 me, 119, and 115) went out to kill a couple of these ghosts... A level 105 one came out and we dragged it to multi area. It was very hard to kill it (we had the best armor and food for f2p). It did 28s frequently. After finally killing it, it dropping nothing. We did this on f2p. These monsters were designed for p2p, because of their high hits or.. perhaps not. If they hit the same on p2p and f2p.. p2pers have better armor so.. im suggesting this: [*:13rta6k4]Make the new ghosts hit lower in f2p OR increase how high they hit on p2p Also, after all of our hard work.. and seeing it dropping *nothing* for all of our effort. I'm also suggesting this: [*:13rta6k4]Make the new ghosts drop various rune items at once (1-2 items) on f2p! and maybe better items for p2p There has to be a reward for killing them.. Adding the second suggestion would give some high levels a reason to play.. Support me ftw?
  6. Seeing that 100k+ of players have already quit, it needs to happen soon or many more will quit already. Why haven't those "many more" quit already? They are waiting to see what Jagex does, if they don't like it, they will quit. So, if Jagex wants Runescape to be one of the most actively played MMORPGs, and also make alot of money, they will have to return the Wilderness.
  7. A clan chat can only hold 100 people. It doesn't matter what world they are on.. 100 people in all is the max. So a clan can have 50 people on a world, 20 on another, and 30 on another.. dunno if it is possible to have a war (same clan) on world 1 and a war on w3 (same clan).
  8. I haven't seen any clan pass 96 players. 100 players is the maximum because a clan chat can only hold 100 people, therefore 100 players is the maximum. Channel: Rarez v2 Amount of people: 96 We really werent this huge always. Before that fight we fought a 51v93, we had 51. We won, believe it or not. We are very organized and have our little secrets (leet Clan War guides and other things, not guides). We had had many battles where the numbers were obviously not on our side, but we still won. If you have seen a clan with more than 96 people playing the Clan War game, post the screenshot. We are aiming for 100, we would be the first to reach it.

  14. People who PLAYED Free-to-play and KNEW they weren't going to get pay-to-play ANYTIME SOON all pked. F2P skillers (most) skill until they get p2p or skill because they enjoy it but those are VERY few and I'm seeing there is a high concentration of f2p skillers on Tip.it :-X And like I said.. people who knew they were stuck on f2p forever and their only reward for training was pking, pked. and these were the 90% of ACTIVE F2P PLAYERS. Those other f2p players were: - New players who later converted to p2p after lvl 60 (or sometimes 70s) - Players who were f2p for a short period of time till they got p2p back - "Stuck" f2p skillers, wont be p2p in a long time. So yes, I'm right. THE 90% OF PEOPLE WHO PLAYED F2P, PKED.

  18. I'm assuming you only read my title. Duel Arena: Only people with similar or better stat than yours will duel you. No fun. There is no "randomness" like used-to-be wild Bounty hunter: Like Duel Arena, except there is a bigger range of levels but.. it is still extremely different from used-to-be wild.
  19. -NOTE: Topic made on Dec 12, 2007 so please don't close- Before the Wilderness Updates F2P players could do very few things. They were: PK, skill (very few did), adventure (for new players), skill/pk until he/she receive membership. Very few, indeed. Now, there are more things you can do while being f2p but there is the most important thing, that 99% of f2p players love, that Jagex has taken out - PKing. Why train anymore (for those who wont be getting p2p anytime soon)? Yes, there is the Bounty Hunter game.. but the area is quite limited to what it used to be and you can only pk levels around your range. For the high levels, pking in 36-47 wild was a blast. You could attack players way lower than you and have fun. After the Wilderness Updates After these updates there are more things you can do except doing the funnest thing. With these new updates comes good and bad. So, if you are f2p, what will you do? Nothing much is left to do on F2P. Converting to p2p won't give you many other things to do (except new skills, items, and minigames but overall, 90% of players, skill to make money for pking supplies, obtain items to train & be better at pking, and play minigames to release the stress from pking) either. ^ For those who think my statistics are wrong.

I have read the past 2 articles, and I want to answer -.^ The story of almost every RS player: ~ Finds RS ~ Meets people and makes friends ~ Goes pking/finds something he really enjoys ~ Becomes addicted ~ Levels that something hoping that when he/she reaches his/her goal it will make the game funner ~ Reaches that goal, it feels null, so he sets himself to keep leveling it ~ Gives up with his past goal, finds something else to do ~ After 1-2 years he gets bored of rs, and it isnt as fun as it used to be. ~ Clicking is becoming too much ~ Starts thinking: I have wasted too much time on rs to quit ~ Sees RS with null eyes, nothing is fun anymore ~ Quits RS for good I found rs, meet people, had alot of fun, did quests, discovered pking, started exploring areas, pked, trained all the time then went pking with friends, when i reached 100 i found that every1 was lower than me so i couldnt pk like before (at hills), train train train :(, no fun, cant quit
