July 1, 2008 - The game that made Runescape 2 possible was removed by Jagex from the homepage. The only proof of existence is are only TWO articles (webpages) from Runescape.com - A diary & a very short article about RS1. Is this the way Jagex pays back? He/she could find another something and another and another and another and another and another. Until that person finally stops -.-. Reaching a skill cape could be one of those anothers, after skilly capie, there is another goal and another and ect.. until the dead line is reached

Smither is right. You're just being pessimistic about this. Instead of trying to find different ways of having fun, you complain about how much better the old days were. Skilling isn't the only reason people play either. If this game didn't have Castle Wars, I probably wouldn't even play. Like I said above your reply, that is a very detailed version. Not everyone is a skiller. Not everyone likes combat. Not everyone aims for a skill cape. Not everyone aims to play Runescape until it is shut down. ;). Mine is very general and applies to many more players. USE YOUR BRAIN. You got it for something.

OOPS I PRESSED SUBMIT INSTEAD OF PREVIEW.. -TOPIC NOt finished- When you grow up in America, you are thought to follow every rule and law. Even if it is the lamest rule in your school, you follow it. For example, I fought some gangster wannabe in my school and my friend knew about it, he was going all "dude you shouldn't do this. we will get caught. omfg". Anyways, point being that people that grow up in USA tend to do exactly as told by the higher authority. That can be implied to the "recent" changes made in Runescape - the Nuclear Bombing on player rights, online freedom of speech, freedom of merchanting & trading, amongst with many more (pking, staking, merch, helping others, complaining to jagex, talking to jagex, you want me to go on??). When something is made and a large part of a community doesn't like it, they do something about it. They don't just sit there and say "pfft, nothing is gonna change. we will live with a dumbo president forEVA!" (or complaining about the corrent situation they don't like), they go OUT and complain. It can be to their church leaders, political leaders or whatever. They even stand in the streets shouting out. What I'm trying to say, PEOPLE DO SOMETHING. I said so much about rl life stuff because I know others will try to find a way to prove me wrong. So, lets apply this to Run & Escape. Be honest, everyone hates Jagex. They did things to us that we don't even want to think of. They knew the effects, yet they still did it. Now, why are players so afraid of speaking out? You hear the word "riot" and IMMEDIATELY go "omfg no no we might get banned like omfg its a waste of time L.OL". Others might have a more civilized response such as "No. It has been tried before. It doesn't work" and many other replies. All of which are negative.. but why not give it a try? a REAL try. If all these haters weren't so ignorant, we might have a real big riot that Jagex will pay attention to. Ok hmm.. Since I pressed submit instead of preview.. I want to finish this up. So the question is.. Why are you so negative about riots? If you aren't... If a real big organized riot which would be advertised in every fansite and big clan forum.. would you come and advertise it??

Riots can grow into the hundreds and even thousands. They could easily grow up to this. The problem is, big fansites like tipit have brainwashed its users into thinking "Its no use. You will get muted. Nothing will change" and therefore not many people come. Also, if you make an event about rioting about the wildy, it gets closed. Not only the quote I said above but any negative reaction to a wilderness riot. If they want it back, why a negative reaction? Because they are ases and don't really want it back. Tipit isn't directly responsible fro the brainwash but by closing rioting topics, it greatly contributes. I have an amazingly great idea that could grow into a 400+ people riot. It involves posting a topic on every fansite and clan forums. it really really can be huge. I just need some people to help me with it. That are optimistic. That dude has no idea of what he is talking about. 99% of RS1ers did not just go to RS2 and left RS1 behind. No. Much more goes into it. Runescape and Runescape 2 are very different. When RS2 was released, many stayed in RS because the changes were too much. Yea, the graphics were much better but it was too different. So, 80% of people who played RS before RS2, stayed in RS when RS2 came out. As time passed, people who still played RS, retired or became inactive. Jagex then made RS to p2pers only, those who were retired were like "Its cool, whenever I want to play RS again, I will pay for p2p". Jagex then made it to P2p & played within the last 6 months. That was a real blow and many lost access to RS1. So, in a way, you could say Jagex closed off RS. Dude. Too many factors go into it. It isn't that simple. I can explain them all but it would be too long.

When the Security Guard event was released, anyone could attack it and not just you. It drops nothing.

Clan Wars

I died at the 60th wave... GRRRRRR... This is how, if you care to read: I was at Italy Rock, had 360 trapped. 180 was in front of me trapped also, 90 was behind him. I was ranging 90 so it would stop ranging me. When I clicked him my char ran up to where the 360 could hit me.. and it did.. did a 47.. i had 2 hp then the 180 did the 2.. i could had drank sara brew but it was too fast.. so close to jad.. spent hours on this sht.... i had 1 super restore (4), 2 super restore (3), 2 sara brews (4), 1 sara brew (2). and had enough bolts..

I will be using: Full Guthans, Red dragonhide body, legs, and vambs, Archers Ring, Dragon Boots, trimmed 99 cape (prayer bonus), fury I am 61 range I have +150 Range Attack, 90 mage defense I will be usoing 3.2k mith bolts to kill everything, 500 diamonds bolts (e) to kill jad. I will have 3 range pots (4), 4 sara brews (4), and the rest super restores. I will mainly be ranging and using guthans to heal Well.. so am I good enough to make it up to jad and kill him? I have 99df and 99hp 74prayer, so it should help some.. !!!

use the best equipment possible, bring a varrock tele, best food you ca nbuy, str pot, and he should be easy..

+1 Tip.it Fourms has a 100% calculator. Why get one from another site? Nothing is 100% unless they got the information from Jagex themselves. Lightning was a RS beta tester so it is very possible he is friends with Andrew and alot of other jmods.. so what you said can be possible lol. Tipit combat calcs are 100% accurate, i have used them since lvl 101 and they have never been incorrect.

Zybez is full of spam also but in a more disguised way.. they just post a bunch of bs or post repeating the same thing the other eprson said in a different "more smart looking" way. They are all idiots -.- The fact is: Tipit has more total posts than Zybez. Spam or not, Tipit has more. Plus, they kept allowing luring while Jagex said it wasn't allowed. What is luring if you don't bring the victim from non-multi to multi (faster kill).. duh? and they advertised illegal RS sites then they ask themselves "why does jagex block 'Zybez' ingame?" idiots. Weather if it was for their servers or not, they advertised something illegal :D

Hmm.. I was thinking Jagex should change the whole game. Keep everything the same but add a very big section of RS dedicated to the following. There will be a 6 castles. 1 huge dark castle for zammy, another white castle huge for sara. Zammy would be on the south Sara north between those areas there are the 4 other castles. A player just choose which side: Guthix (can be king of the 4 middle castles),zammy, or sara. The player wit hthe most kills is the king of the castle, the king chooses who can enter his castle and do everything, control market prices (change them).. Teams of players can invade castles and became kings (guthix).. those ruling the 4 mid castles are al lguthix invaders are guthix as for zammy and sara, you can only be a defender or group of attacker. i will explain in more detail soon. this is not a minigame!
