when i described what i wanted, that was what i preferred. if there's a better spot in your opinion, im open to suggestions.

im currently lvl 57 combat (45 attack, 48 strength, 45 defence, 35 prayer) and f2p. Wild isn't a problem, as long as i don't need to bring more than 3 items (excluding food) EDIT: My optimal monster would be something with low attack, and a lot of hp (low defence would be nice, but i dont really care that much). That combo is a hard to find, but if anybody knows of such a monster, do tell

I don't know if this has been suggested before, but in between p2p and f2p, there could be a2p (advertisments to play). Basically, the game screen would be surrounded by ads on all four sides, and you would enter an e-mail adress that would be subject to spam. Now before you flame this idea, please hear me out; this would be more of a p2p sampler. You wouldn't get any p2p land, just a quest or two that are completely in f2p area, some more p2p stuff.(only like two dragon items, a few ranged and mage things) Now, if was to be so bold, I propose that you could use SOME of the p2p skills (slayer, construction, agility, theiving-just some possibles), but you could only get to lvl 15 or so (This is more of something i just want to happen, probably won't ) I know this has probably been proposed before, and will probably be opposed by a lot of people, but hey, I can want stuff, right?

if you don't like merchanting ores, then i would say stay with rune or buy runes in shop and sell for a higher price.

since i can buy iron for 100 each, if i were to smith it all (with 50/50 chance-f2p), how much could i sell the iron bars for (not quite sure about price)? EDIT: checked the price list, but the price didnt seem right

i thought powermining iron was better, since you dont need waterskins, and you can just say on the site that you're powermining iron at the southeast varrock mine, go on an f2p world, and then just trade your iron, which is faster than dropping. but that's just me.

or, if you want to keep the willows for later, you can go around the stone wall to the west, and east of port sarim there's a ton of willows, and there's noone there. i don't use it, but i never really checked if it was actually faster than the regular area when it's crowded.

i thought about air running, but i dont think i can even break even- i only get x4 on airs. how low would i have to go to break even?

you can also just buy the hides for 100-150 gp each. less/no profit, but great exp

im lvl 34 currently...any suggestions? i can mine the essence fast, and i dont really want to spend money right now (unless i'll be able to get it back), but which rune would be best to craft?

trim is a couple hundred k (not sure), but the regular blue hat and shirt are drops from wizards at the wizard tower (i like to use the blue skirt from the varrock clothing shop with it, its only like 3 gp)

if you go to the minotaurs in the northwest-ish area, you can just range them from across the fence

at lvl 70, you might want to think about finding an uncrowded mining guild, then mining coal...twice as much money :thumbsup:

ive been ranging minotaurs for a short time, and ive gotten my raning lvl up to 34. should i switch to lvl 27 minotaurs now? (i have 45 defence)

i dont think so...im pretty sure that you need to complete the quest to enter the altar...but i never tried, so thats just my logic. ps-Jagex can't be that stupid, can it? pps- On second thought, you don't need to complete the quest :lol:

mine like 1k to 2k iron, then sell, which gives you 400-500k. You could high alch from there, but it would be pretty slow. if you can mine fast, then i would suggest getting more iron at the beginning.
