Jesse's Non Existant Guide to Merchanting. (AOW Discussion)
Doomdeath91 replied to hellbellz's topic in General Guides
Not too bad of a gude...better than most money-making guides I've seen. :) Maybe try to add Rune merchanting? Buy runes (Waters, Minds, and Deaths are the best to merch) at a shop (I've found that the best shop to buy at is the one at the Void Knight outpost) and then sell them on the Rune forum (Waters 20-25 ea, Minds 15-20 ea, Deaths 280-300 ea). It's better if you sell them in thousands. Also, if your making Nature runes, they're really high in demand on the Rune forum as well (they sell for between 300-330 ea). Hope the guide's a success, it looks like it's doing good.  -
Hm. I'll still keep that in mind though.
-
I'll keep that in mind...thanks!

300 ea max in the Mage Guild? Are you sure?
-
In the Mage Guild, not on the streets, what is the maximum price of a Nature Rune? I know the minimum price is 120gp...please post if you know. :)

The level 25 Experiments are really good; they have like 100 HP, yet they can hardly hurt you, though you do need to complete parts of the Creature of Fenkenstrain quest.
-
I would say Whip; sell the Flail unless you want full Verac's.
-
Yea; read the scroll; plus u need 51 magic to tele to Ardougne anyway
-
I know that Rune Meds high alch for around 11.5k ea.

A level 2 Tramp when I was level 5; I had like 3 HP left, I was lost in Varrock (I didn't know what Varrock was then lol), and I accidentally attacked the Tramp. I had ran out of energy and the Tramp killed me. Fortunately, the only things I lost was a few runes an Ammy of Accuracy lol; I was devastated then, but now it's no big deal.

The answer is yes, people can still sell these, but they are worth a lot, and I mean A LOT of money. Approx. Prices Purple Phat: 80-85 Mill Yellow: 90 Mill Green: 100 Mill Red: 120-125 Mill White: 150-155 Mill Blue: 200-230 Mill -
If you WANT higher strength than def or att, then do it.
-
Just dig in the Lumbridge Swamps until one appears. Also, it's the Zombie HEAD, not Zombie balls

The Abyssal Whip is currently the only whip in RuneScape.

I Hate Agility.. anyone got some advice?
Doomdeath91 replied to Ppowers23's topic in Help and Advice
Hmm...I'd say if you haven't done it yet, do the Grand Tree quest for about 11k Agility exp As for courses, I'd either stick with the Wildy course if you're brave enough or go to Brimhaven or do the Skullball course (need to complete the Creature of Fenkenstrain quest for the latter). -
It really depends on what you want... For good dragon weapons like the Dragon Longsword or Dragon Dagger(s), do the Lost City quest. You only need level 31 Crafting and 36 Woodcutting to complete it, and level 20+ Magic OR level 30+ Ranged is recommended for killing a level 101 Tree Spirit. To get your attack up by about 12k exp, do the really easy Fight Arena quest (just get a halberd, Rune most recommended, seeing that you have not completed the Regicide quest, if you have 40+ Attack) For quest points, I'd do quests like the Grand Tree, the Underground Pass, Goblin Diplomacy (f2p), and Romeo and Juliet (f2p). All of them have 5 quest points, so that's good and all of them are easy (besides Underground Pass if you have a low Thieving and Agility level). For the lowest skills, do the Tears of Guthix quest. There's a minigame that helps increase your lowest skill once a week. If you do the long Digsite quest, you can get about 15k Mining exp; the Feud quest gets you 15k Thieving exp; do the Grand Tree for approx. 11k Agility exp and 18k Attack exp; the Haunted Mine quest for 22k Strength exp; the Holy Grail quest for 15.3k Prayer exp and 11k Defense exp; the Temple of Ikov quest for 10.5k Ranged exp and 8k Fletching exp (that is, if you have level 40+ Ranged and a good thieving level like 42+); Tree Gnome Village quest for 11.5k Attack exp; and the Waterfall quest for almost 14k exp for both Attack and Strength. Hope that helps! :)

It's definitely ok for you to play RuneScape on both of your computers; you just can't have two people you own on 2+ separate computers (or one if you have a second window). So you SHOULD be fine.

(this is with NO special ability) Helm: Guthan's Helm/Torag's Helm Body: Guthan's Platebody Legs: Dharok's Legs/Torag's Legs Weapon: Whip (Drag Battleaxe has higher str though) Shield: Dragon Sq. Shield (or Crystal Shield 9/10 or 10/10) Ammy: Ammy of Fury Boots: Rune Boots Gloves: (Barrows) Gloves (need to complete Recipe for Disaster quest; you get from Culinaromancer's Chest for 130k) Ring: Warrior Ring Cape: Fire Cape (if you beat TzTok-Jad, if not, Legends Cape or Obby Cape is good too)

Since when have Ghouls not been Undead? The Salve Amulet most likely works.
-
If you have any raw fish, cook them. For the rest, I'd say probably Monkfish if you've completed the "Swan Song" quest. Otherwise, I'd say Swordfish or Lobbies.

Barrows For Lower Levels - ed 25 Oct 2006 (AOW discussion)
Doomdeath91 replied to Satenza's topic in General Guides
Wow...your guide ain't too shabby! :) Maybe I should go take a trip sometime when I have a higher Ranged and Magic level. -
Dragon Scimmys are worth approx. 100k; it's easier if you buy one from another player, but you have to complete the Monkey Madness quest first.
-
It's in Shilo Village; you need at least level 40 Mining and you need to have completed the Shilo Village quest.
-
It's not a really good weapon, but it's good for looks. :)
-
Chenw is right; it's right by the castle and the Platelegs store (the Plateskirt store goes up to Adamant btw).
