  1. The bloody battle raged on. The stronghold of the dwarves west of the barbarian village was under attack by the barbarians of the forementioned village. Dwarven axes met barbarian war axes and swords. The dwarf technology was to much for the barbarians, as dwarven multi-cannons rained steel cannnonballs from the sky. It seemed like the world was ending. The barbarians retreated, and the dwarves claimed victory. The barbarians would not give. They used the river lum as a way to recruit soilders. The weak soilders from lumbridge thought that the war would be a good way to train. High Leveled players from the cities of Varrock and the town of Edgevill came to gather the dwarf cannons. Merchants came for the same, wanting to find and sell the cannons and their, uh, balls. The barbarians finally tought the craft of barbarian weapon smithing. This combined with the metals of the civilized word. As one player tested his runeite war axe, he split a rock made of silver in two. The barbarians would renew their fight. The dwarves were no match. They were massacared. The new, powerful barbarian weapons could even slice cannonballs into two. The tiny yet strong bodys covered the landscape. The barbarians had taken the dwarven mines. The dwarven capitial city east of the fremenniks was in termoil. They had to invent a new weapon to fight the barbarians. They turned to the gnomes, the other small and brainy race. They Invented a weapon so powerful, it would destroy the barbarians. The idea came from the war beasts the gnomes had already. They made a mecanicial virsion of them, twice as big. They then but dwarven cannons on the sides. Crossbows on swivels that could spin 360 degrees and shoot. The barbarians sat in their dining hall, eating bear meat and ale fit fro a king (which they had raided in the last attack on varrock. It was the Kings favorite). The sound of gunpowerder made everyone jump. In an instant, 500 Cannonballs crashed through the roof. 450 Barbarians died. Half the village. Then a pair of takes rammed through the remain parts of wall, their crossbows firing darts at everyone. another 125 dead. "Wait! don't fire another shot!" a tiny dwarf boy, no more then level 3, cried. Between the level 200 tanks and level 15 barbarians, it wasn't his place, but he could no longer stand by. "We must work together, not fight! Why fight amongst ourselves! We must fight our real enemies! The humans of falador!" And the war stopped. They shook hands, and turned towards the west. The Dwarf child led them....To war with falador.
  2. Before we start, a few stories that I love! The tale of Radon Virus, by my good friend Mario-sunny Be sure to note, I am not the main character of the story, and these are not my feelings. It is just a story, and nothing more! A dusty, tiny shop sat in the old district of Varrock, brightened by a rusty iron lamp hanging in the corner. The man who ran the shop had skin well worn and the torn robes of an ancient monk. He was not the warrior that he once was. He could no longer hold the long sword that had given him glory. Its runeite blade still strong, even if he was not the same. He had changed. He had once hated the ones know as "merchants," who, in his opinion, ruined the value of what he had taken of the corpses of the slain. But when he found his skill draining from him, he new he had to make a living from somewhere other than the sandy arenas north of the desert city. His blade could no longer pay for itself. He had to become the hated merchant. He now bought, sold, and manipulated the prices of Runescape. He bought and sold large amounts of lobsters and monkfish. He bought and sold the armor he once wore into battle. He bought and sold weapons that he had once battled with. Iron and arrows and runes and rares. He sold and sold. He became rich. REALLY rich. But in that, he had become selfish. As a young warrior, he had given money to the young boys arriving in Lumbridge. When he was only 35 attack, he had given away his addy long sword to a young man, and had used a black battle-axe for another 5 levels. But now, he hoarded his stockpiles. He kept it locked in a store room. That as well as his rare collection and his stock of items. When people came, seeking money for worthy causes, he shunned them. He tried to shoot them off with mighty spells, but he could not even muster the power to cast spells newcomers could cast. He tried to pull back the string on the simple short bow, but could not have the strength. He just slammed the door in their faces. He then got a letter from the makeover mage. He had developed a way to change not only appearance, but also reduce age. He could make him young again!!!!!!!!! But it would come at a cost. The makeover mage was not going to give it away for free. It would cost the merchant much of his money. That same day, the collection agency known as N.E.W.B (Newcomers engage wealthy businessmen.) arived at his shop. They were gathering money to pay the united smithing guild for iron armor sets for noobs. A good cause, to be sure. But not good enough for the greedy merchant. He sent his guard dog on them, and they fled quickly. The collectors met in the Blue moon inn. "He will not get away with that." said one. The other just nodded. The merchant awoke the next morning. He loved to glance at his pile of goods every morning, to see his wealth. He had decided that he would get the new process done by the makeover mage. He would become young and fight once again. He opened the door. He had sealed it with a spell tablet given to him by his friend in the magician's guild. But the seal was broken. He opened the door. The money was gone. A master thief had broken in and had stolen all he had. In its place was a letter. "Dear sir, Thank you for your large donation. Your contribution is highly generous. Know that, because of you, many noobs shall survive their days in their new iron armor. Thank you, N.E.W.B. Now, he had not a coin to his name. The mage would not do the age reduction spell for free. His greed had been for naught. He could no longer praise his riches. He looked towards the wall. On it was a picture of a warrior and a young boy. The warrior was giving the young boy a set of bronze armor. He was the warrior. He was once a generous man. He became what he had hated, a greedy, selfcentered person. He had lost his way. Maybe losing his money was for the best.
  3. Limit 3 per player. More than that would mean you could carry... Lets see.. 8x28=244 doses of potions  OR Make the flask have to compartments. Fill half with one potion, the other with another. The options would be... Drink both halves Erlenmyer flask Drink right half Erlenmyer flask Drink left half Erlenmyer flask Check dosage Erlenmyer flask Examin (sp?) Erlenmyer flask Something like that may work as well.
  4. I'll stick with my theory
  5. Very good. The detail is great, and I love the fact that you have what everyone really thought when they found wolfbane. Keep up the good work!
  6. I added the use of the museum of varrock
  7. HA! Take this! I am right! The november behind the scenes!
  8. A great day in the "RUNESCAPE OFFICIAL SUGGESTIONS FOURM." A guy had a thread, the title was "OmFg trad wit urself!" Which, i believe, was "Omfg, trade with yourself!" Anyway, he typed with grammer so bad I could not tell what he was saying. It was something along the lines of... Jagex should make it so you can trade with yourself Pl0X! AND I HATE THE WORD PLOX! JUST A SIDE NOTE! : So many posters told him how moronic the idea was. He then said that we were morons. We told him that he was immature, and he said that we were, and that Jagex would give him 1mil and he would be rich. We said he typed and acted like a 5-year-old. He said "4 ur info, im 9!!!111!!" Which is to young to play runescape
  9. Why stop bumping? I need to keep it SOMEWHERE near the top to get some people to look at it...
  10. The wise old man is a theiving evil person! I think Galileo had copyright. Furthermore, Galileo didn't invent the telescope, he was just one of the first to use one and he nearly prefected it. : (or so my science teacher tells me) Back on topic, the eastern lands would be good. Also, new dragons. The komodo (which is a dragon in NAME ONLY) or some kind of dragon that looks like those long 27-person costumes. Also, in the "history of runescape" Knowledge base addition, i believe the year "1609" or so was said...
  11. I guess no one understands the point... -.-
  12. This is a DISCUSSION! Now, I myself, and many others, enjoy the follies of others, for the humor value. People whos stupidity leads to comedy is enjoyable for some, myself included. These people are like show monkeys, those that follow the organ grinders, dancing around, making others laugh. But then I relized, what if the Jagex staff feels the same? Jagex puts out letters from the chaos elemental, hinting on updates. NPC's comments sometimes hint of new lands. And the monkeys eat it up like great food. WE are those monkeys. We make topics about the chaos elemental's letters (two "Official" ones on the Runescape homepage fourms). We say things like "OMG! Npc in fallys said that new islands are in the ocean!!!"(<---- example). But how much of these clues are true? We know that the chaos elemental is sometimes right. The "Gypsy gets a makeover" thing was proven, as varrock is set to get a facelift. And a few others were correct. But how many of these were not updates? I think of it this way. Jagex staff members are human (I hope :ohnoes:) and therefore like comedy. Everyone laughs, right? So are 80% of these clues just a way to get the players talking? Is Jagex leaving behind them false trails that players follow? Are these cluse just the music that makes us monkeys dance?
  13. Look, WoW is a game ON CD! Therefore, it can store more information, such as BETTER GRAPHICS. For $5 a month, I shall be content with the graphics that I see.
  14. Woot, goblin armor fourm rank!!!!1!!!!!11!eleven!!!! \
  15. Wise words from the chicken feather..
  16. I believe the hat is a straw hat... That's all i know
  17. I guess my topic is deader then disco....
  18. Not a bad idea, but would make skilling to easy. Teleporting to mining guild would make it to easy to tele there, mine, then tele to bank. Make the mage requirement higher, or make it more like this.... Runes 1xfire 1xwater 1xearth 10xair 1xlaw 1xsoul 1xasteral So it will put people off
