  1. All valid points... I, a selfproclaimed Guthixian follower, try to help Guthix's followers, but what if these are fakes? :-k I doubt it, the facts, as I said, are valid, but I doubt Guthix would stand for those who falsely proclaim themselves to him. But wait! =; What if Guthix is sending these monsters to destory the imatators (sp?)?
  2. I put 126 combat, because it takes 99 in many skills
  3. Oh come on! I can't be Perfect! Why do you think I can be? :boohoo:
  4. Fine, I'll even with you. On the sign before the entrance of this area... "As time in runescape moves on, Monsters evolved into the creatures you see today."
  5. HA! :P That is just funny!
  6. History and Summoning PWN J00!!! :o WARNING:I hope you have a bigger attention span than the local ogre, becuse this is one long post! For the love of guthix, PLEASE use proper english. It's hard reading giberish... Hello! I'm Buckeyemange. As some of you know, recently, our friends at Jagex releaced an overview of the history of the land we call runescape. It can be found in the knowledge base. I really reccomend you read this, as it has a couple of very interesting points. I found a few about summoning, and a few other things I took from the page, most very interesting... Rememeber, These are just a few things, three more ages came before these, and you should read them. Many more paragraphs are there, i just grabed my favorites. After you read mine, of course. From "The fourth age" ~To make things even harder there were tales of strange undead necromancers who arose from time to time, summoning armies of undead skeletons and zombies which swept across the land destroying all in their path.~ ~During the early parts of the Fourth Age most of the humans lived in nomadic tribes, battling to stay alive against each other and against the tribes of other races. Over time they started to make more permanent settlements throughout the world, but they continued to have to war with their neighbours.~ ~The human mages learnt how to create powerful magical stones known as runestones. They began to create them in large numbers. How they made the runestones was kept a closely guarded secret between just a few of the mages so as not to let the information fall into enemy hands.~ From "The fifth age" ~Thus was the world in relative equilibrium for the next 100 years, the three great kingdoms held off all invaders. Most notable among these invaders was a mysterious and powerful undead necromancer whose army of skeletons and zombies launched an attack on the city of Varrock. "The Fifth age continued" ~For a period things were looking very good for the human kingdoms. Some people tried to stand in the way of their expansion, most notably a wave of invading barbarians who objected to the use of runestones and rampaged through Northern Kandarin and Asgarnia, but the runestones were powerful enough that the kingdoms could deal with all that came their way.~ ~At this time the wizards allowed followers of Zamorak among their number, which proved to be a foolish mistake. At a summit in the Wizards' Tower most of the powerful mages were gathered - but the Zamorakian mages betrayed them, igniting a great fire which razed the tower to the ground. Most of the great wizards were killed, and their great library which stored the key to much of their power was also destroyed.~ ~Still, there were plenty of runes left in the world. Enough that the existing kingdoms were able to adequately defend themselves from invaders, though they no longer wished to expend runes to expand their borders any further.~ ~Following the burning of the tower there was a massive backlash against Zamorak's followers, who had previously been tolerated, if not exactly welcomed. In many areas the Zamorakians quickly became outcasts who had to hide away from the rest of the world, though the black knights of the Kingdom of Asgarnia still held much political sway in that land.~ ~The year is now 169 in the Fifth Age, but the wizards are worried that the most powerful runes they had used to protect the kingdoms are running low. The enemies of Misthalin, Asgarnia and Kandarin are beginning to find footholds in their lands again within dark corners everywhere. New heroes must arise to maintain order and to stop the collapse of civilisation under the forces of evil!~ So, a few interesting tidbits... 1. Tales speak of an undead necromancer summoning hordes of monsters to kill many. 2. The Human development of runestones. These were the main weapon against the barbarians. But, how did the gnomes get them? Can they make them to? Was it some kind of trade? 3.Most knew this, but, Zamorackians burned the first wizards tower. Which led to their being shuned thing. 4. From the 5th age, "New heroes must arise to maintain order and to stop the collapse of civilisation under the forces of evil!" A new minigame? Or just a statement meaning the players of today? 5. Now we know the year we're in, for runescape. 169 (or 174, RS is 5 years old). 6. I like cake. Nothing to do with the thread, just throwing it in there. 7. We know know how we defeated the babbarians (NOT Freminecks!) when they attacked great citys. With magic! Is this why the hate wizards and runestones? 8 As said by Light365, in response to this quote Necromancy/Summoning has been confirmed by Jagex already so it should come out at some point in time. ~~~~~~~ I'd like to know where to find this quote, since i once saw a mod saying something about it being very contreversial. I think this means they won't put it into the game since it revolves around religion. They changed the demonic symbols near taverly dungeon because some people complained about them. Though they may be able to give it a new name and some nice, hygenic process to go through summoning. 9. Summoning exists in two places now, one north of port kazard, and the other south of falador. Also, the south falador one has transformation-illisuion magic, turning you into fungi... 10. The following, found by Arch Tyrant (Thanks!) A release from Jagex̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ DEVLOPMENT PLANS OF MARCH 31st, 2004 Now that we have finished our big game engine update we can finally get back to producing regular updates to the game. I'm sure you're all wondering what̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s coming next now the update is finally out, so read on for a summary of some of the things we have planned. (Many things NOT about summoning̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ..) Summoning spells - summon skeletons, demons, etc...! Now we know it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s on the way, but when?
  7. Hello all of you tip.it'ers! This thread is also in the future updates of the runescape fourms. Under the title of "Museum of Runescape?"... This is half future update, and a suggestion for the future update. If this would be better in suggestions, please put it there. Hello, I'm Buckeyemange. As I tried to sleep in bed one night, a thought from runescape came into my head. A lone woman in Draynor, who's dream was to change the draynor manner into some kind of museum... Now I thought about this. What purpose could this museum have? Sure, it could have the usual things, Statues of great heros, weapons like Silverlight and excalibur, and other things. But then I thought, "What about the new graphical updates?" Yes, the dragons, demons, and giants have been upgraded. They now are fearce, strong, and have oddly long tongues. But what of those who are new, and have no memories of the dragons we used to, well, PWN, back in the day. This museum could have a special section, known as the "Before and after" section. It would have magic portrits of monsters, citys, areas, and such that have been updated. Using the magic pictures, you could teleport to a special area, that is blocked with magic walls, to prevent wandering. You could then walk around the city before it was updated, but you lose the ability to acess your items. That includes money, no buying things in old falador! You could also see old monsters in their old habitat, such as the green dragons, before they were pretty, in there level 35 wilderness home. While seeing monsters, you become, well, a ghost, if you will. You cannot attack them, They cannot attack them. It is just a way to see what the old school looked like. That is one way. The other is some kind of zoo. In this zoo, you could see old style dragons, or other monsters. Thoughts? Also, post ideas for the museum, like what it would have in in the museum. We want pictures!!! Things there should be pictures of. Please give me more ideas! Monsters (old) Dragons Giants Demons Places (old) I think you should go to places, not just see them. My opinion. Old falador Old draynor Mannor Runescape classic pictures... Players in full armor, bronze through rune. Old Barrows. A hand full of weapons And a random assortment of old items, like fish, wood, that kind of stuff. Runes, Including the "life" rune. How do I make a link to a thread in my sig? :-k
  8. It's on page one, the pick with all the rangers, i can't get it to show up... What quest was this? I remember the scean, but not which quest...
  9. Ardougne Are-do-gin? The N is later, but i like... Are-don-uge
  10. All look great, but the lessar tounge is overkill. There are 5-6 Lessars (go to taverly), 3 of every kind of dragon, and babys look good. For the blues, i like the one with no horns.
  11. so i can find it later and read the rest... I like it so far!
  12. Wow. Amazing. What a touching statement. =D> =D> =D> Bravo!
