  1. Not really ugly, kinda cool, but those shorts... Now, what does it say...:XD:
  2. What was wrong with his acting in Fight Club? Don't get me started, otherwise we'll go so far off-topic, we'll become on-topic. Yeah. Think about it. The whole movie was lame, I stopped watching halfway through.
  3. Yea, my take is similar. It's Estonia's country, they can do whatever the hell they want with a statue on their property. I think Russia, in a sense, still believes they have power over Estonia, or are undermining it as a country. But as you said, Russia would be one to talk. Their government acting hypocritical is about as surprising as President Bush messing up ie. not surprising. However, if I could recommend one thing to Estonia, it would be to get their act together with their policeforce. *Edit* Those pictures remind me of (totally off topic) some Katrina victims stealing TV's and such admist a crisis. It's said though, and very hypocritical, and a very sad excuse to steal things. I hope Tallinn can get back up soon enough and carry on.
  4. The most recent of many articles: Here's the sum of things if you don't feel like reading the article (which is one of many). A little while ago, a war memorial known as the Bronze Solider was moved from its place in the center of Tallinn, Estonia to a graveyard outside the city. This angered Estonian Russians, claiming the war memorial showed Russia's help in the ending of the Nazi party. But Estonians see it different. They believe the memorial shows and reflects the harsh realities of Estonia's 50 year occupation by Russia. As a result, protest and riots broke out in Tallinn and the Estonian embassy in Moscow. One person was killed, many injured, and 100's were detained. These included innocent Estonians from kids to adults. Rumor spread about that the detained were being treated badly and unfairly, but Estonia's government denied this. Then a Finnish newspaper published an article that hit a new high, that sparked the movement against the Prime Minister and government known as ESStonia. So, onto the question I want to ask. Russia's prime minister, Vladimir Putin, is upset with Estonia, and is striking back against this. Estonia's government is claiming the protests, most notably outside the embassy in Moscow, were set up by Putin. Either way, Russia wants power over Estonia, and Estonia wants power over the Russians occupying the country. My first question is, who do you side with? And my second question is (and this can be taken generally), how do you feel about Putin's actions, should he leave Estonia alone? Should he stand strong for his cause? Etc.
  5. Firefox saved this page on the toolbar for God knows why, and I accidentally clicked it and "submit". Sorry about that. :x
  6. I LOVE the plane and Communist avatar.

Lol, I've never had a problem with it. I'm thinking the doctor was delusional or didn't get enough sleep.

Wow. Any more allergies and you may as well go buy a bubble to live in. Just joking but still, that's a lot of allergies. I'm just slightly allergic to small things like pollen and that's about it. The doctor once told me I was allergic to trees. :|
  9. I thought they decided you could no longer vote for your neighboring countries to solve this?
  10. That was one of my basic designs. So you're telling me this is feasible without the full circle, by creating an arched shaped base? :o
  11. Nvm this post.

However, if there is one thing I would love to try, it's joining the MHC.
  13. Yep, so does the majority of Europe too. I remember the last time I went to both Italy and Ireland both places had bars and shops close down because of travelers who often start toruble. However here in England people tend to ignore and get on with life. I always associated gypsies with France and Spain around the turn of the century (1990) and 1800's. I've only associated them in modern times with Romania and some of Eastern Europe. Wow, I had thought there'd be laws.
  14. Wait wait wait, the UK has gypsies? :-s
  15. The US had a great dust-bowl and famine, and so did Ireland, and they survived.
  16. Kind of a cool, yet depressing thought: You could die at any moment, at any place, and almost anyway. Five minutes from now you could be dead. And you can die from practically everything you see around you in a plethora of ways.
  17. To me, it's simple. Sometimes we have control over our own future, and sometimes we don't ie. nature, others. And the future is controlled in the present (or past at the time it happens). Everything that happens in the future can be traced to the immediate past (even if that past is a few minutes, or even seconds ago, it's still the past). The future is what has not happened. What happens an hour from now to me can only be guessed about, but no one, or no thing knows what it is. So I'm anti-Nostradamus. We live in the present. And every moment the present becomes the past, and is gone forever, with only memories left to remember it. The future is what hasn't happened yet, and is effected by the present.

Using the bathroom on an airplane. I'm a shy bathroom user, no idea why, but if I can't do it on a bus, I have doubts I could on a plane. :(
  19. Both. Plus, learning a language gives you x100 respect. And English kinda sucks, I hope it doesn't become anymore international than it already is.
  20. Yeah, I'm going to try and find a professional opinion on those bottom two supports. They look necessary, but something tells me with the elevator shaft, I could do without them. :-k On the other hand, I rather like the elevator supports. Well, the left ones at least. The external elevator and people movers look kind of cool, sort of like La Grande Arche in Paris (but without the people movers):
  21. Around 41 stories, or about 679ft (226.3m). The "C" is around 35 stories high, or about 583ft (194.3m). Each floor is 12ft (4m) high. Inbetween each floor is 4.8ft (1.6m) high. The building is surprisingly shorter than I had intended. :(
  22. I'm not entirely sure the bottom supports are necessary. I need a second opinion, anyone?
  23. In elementary school, a very nice Detroit Red Wings coat. Just recently we had an XM Radio and my dads cell phone stolen out of one of our cars. But the thieves were amateurs. They took only the XM Radio, and none of the jacks, they're going to have fun pawning that. :P
  24. Lol. :P I major in Art 3d, so I've done this sort of stuff before. But really, I'd love to try foam core, just one problem, I have no idea how to use it. But I do know it's used for most skyscraper models, it's just the "how" that's confusing. :?
