  1. You buy the Paradox Pack Arch?
  2. What are your computer's specs?
  3. Yea, don't bother with Divine Wind, too expensive for me as well, and likely still has some bugs to iron out.
  4. EU3 Complete doesn't come with Heir to the Throne or the newest expansion Divine Wind. It's cause when they released Eu3 complete that was meant to be the last installment, but us fans like the game too much so they made more expansions lol. :P Yea Grand Campaign starting from 1399.
  5. Why not? Also you can play Feudal Japan :P
  6. Since we seem to like the idea of a complex hegemony system with political influencing, peace treaties, and other bruhaha, but rarely ever commit to actually following the myriad of rules that inevitably come with them, I figured it would be worthwhile to see if there would be enough interest in playing a multiplayer game of EU3 together. If you don't know what Europa Universalis 3 is, it's a grand strategy game where you can play as any nation between 1399-1821 and guide it through history. There's war, trading, diplomacy, technology, national ideas, religious intolerance, and a plethora of other fun stuff. You can just search youtube for 'Europa Universalis 3' to get an idea of what its like. Countries: Morrocco - Archimage * England - Retech Japan - Icu * Bavaria - Nero * Portugal - Dungeonal * France - Trol Denmark - Rocco Holland - Grim Venice - Paul * GAME RULES I am the GM (Game Master/General Manager), any dispute that can't be handled between players I will try to solve as impartially as possible. Do not pause the game unless absolutely necessary. If the game is going to fast ask the host to slow down the game speed. Lucky nations will be set to 'Off' A naval group can't be more than 150 strong (eg no galley spam) No wrecking of your nation or opposing players nations. If you lost a single war don't get pissy and destroy your nation and quit. Likewise if you're winning a war, don't decline peace deals endlessly and just keep occupying an opponents country until it breaks. Once a player surrenders in a war, peace terms must be made immediately. You can't continue fighting after someone has surrendered. Peace terms are up to the two (or more) players. Alliance leaders in a war cannot peace out with who they are at war with without the agreement of the minor allies (So if France and Brandenburg are fighting against Milan, France can't peace out and end the war unless the minor ally [brandenburg] either says thats okay, or negotiaties their own peace with Milan). There are no peace term restrictions, just keep in mind that if you take half of someone's country after a single war, someone else might do so to you. You can't sell a province to another player if that other player can't see the province or your capital (so you can't sell Japan the province of Orleans in 1399). No declaring war on a player's vassal to get around having to fight another player's allies.
  7. You can DO THAT? Mmhmm. Here's one where they have 7 people playing France, Austria, Majapahit, Poland, Castille, Scotland, Sweden, and Ottomans http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?512395-quot-Stop-Looking-at-the-Sky!-quot-%E2%80%94-Wednesdays-19-00-CST. Here's another with 11 people: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?504995-Corona-Radiata-The-Rebirth-of-EU3-Multiplayer edit: I made a thread
  8. Eu3 and Eu3 HTTT is a total of $6 on steam atm.
  9. Nm, mostly puttering around and cursing my ill fortunes. You?

  10. I think it would be better if we just all played a big game of EU3. Like, 6-7 people playing...England, France, Spain, Austria, Sweden, Muscowy, Ottomans. *froths*
  11. Journal of Nero: wahhhhhhhhhhhhgggggggggg iisssssss builllddddsss my zombiewarghhh armyarrrrr --- That's Zombie-Vampire-Pirate Captain to you good sir!
  12. If thats moderation potential, then i'd make a joke about it, but since I think it's player potential I think that a bunch of icelandic assasins are going to do great against cannons and semi automated death machines.. O yea! Ross' beyblade da vinci contraptions that mowed down all my peasant screens (though admittedly that's all I really intended them to me...'Quick! Clog up their cannons with your dismembered body parts! Onwards to victory!' Oh don't you even start blowing hot air about that again! I didn't want you to have railways because I know you're a slippery old bag that would reasearch another 10 different techs that would give you a further +50% or so industrial boost. That and railroads hadn't been invented at the point we were at in the game, err real life, time. Like scaring you off from invading me after I had disbanded all of my military except a single regiment hehehe. Oh man, that still takes the cake I would say. ------ To Arch & his massive post: It wouldn't work. They have to be simplistic in nature and any system within them generall has to be able to be done in a person's head, or in a simple calculator. Once you go beyond that without a system (even space had a system with the puzzles and whatnot), people start to lose interest.
  13. Journal of Captain Nero: Oh that zombie that bit me while I was trying to waltz with it really hurt. Turned into quite a nasty scar and I think that maybwwaaarGHHHHHBLLLLLLLLLLLARGH brains! weeeee ZOMBIE CAPTAIN ONO
  14. It's cause they dont want me jumping in a ganking them. Hiiiiiiiyaa
  15. Well then tell him what the new one is you dolt.
  16. And it's getting done by Paradox. Yeye!
  17. You could just search for 'Warhammer [Army Name] Army Book Torrent/Download/PDF' and it'll show up. 8th Ed is pretty buggered though, nerfed to hell cav and new horde rules mean that all the mass armies dominate everything (I'm glaring at you Skaven bastards) Though I'm tempted to make a horde of like 60 greatswords w/ warrior priest just for the 'awww sheeeit' factor. That or a two rank 100 man unit of spearmen, hahaha.
  18. I've got a 2k Stirland Empire army. HIYAAAAAA swords against your machine guns. Nobody plays WHFB. Gits.
  19. 4.) Scouts go out to neighbouring areas looking for stoof, as well as make contant with Deutchland to the East 5.) Begin work on the wheel 6.) Begin work constructing tent like things from animal hide
  20. You get a bank of 10 actions you can draw from whenever, but it doesn't automatically refill. Ahh ok. I thought you had to save 10 actions first, rather than start off with 10 already.
  21. Why did Arch get 8 actions right off the start? 1.) The mongol tribes start fighting with one another and quickly split off into a number of different minor tribes 2.) Selective horse breeding begins with the goal of creating a hardy, nimble, and long endurance pony 3.) Bow & Arrow research 4.) Scouts go out to neighbouring areas looking for stoof, as well as make contant with Deutchland to the East 5.) Begin work on the wheel
  22. Getting a new laptop in january so I should be able to pick up some good games then. edit: Picked up L4D2, the stalker games, and GTA4 for pc. Now to wait for my new laptop before I can play them :x
  23. Ono Nero's deadly tumans! A travelling band of nomads wants to join your village, what do you do? Allow them to join, but make them swear the oaths of loyalty. Watch them closely as well. The notorious loony claims that he has found an ancient map. What do you do? Look at it. If it looks real buy it for a small amount. If its fake hunt him down and cut his throat. One day, an emissary arrives from a neighboring empire. He sends word that his kind demands tribute from your nation. What do you do? Cut off the emissaries head and deliver it back to 'his kind'. You come across a resource node, full of gem foreign to your people. However, another nation seems to have set up a small camp there as well. What do you do? Drive them away and take it. A long-trusted advisor of yours is rumored to be planning to remove you from the throne. What do you do? Watch him closely. If he tries anything remove him. A band of vicious cats has been attacking the local rodents, killing most of them off. What do you do? Toss them a couple nice fish as a reward. If you had to choose between military supremacy, economic might, or intellectual prowess, which would you wish for your nation to have? Military Supremacy. Your explorers come across a small tribe, with extremely primitive technology. They do not seem to be hostile. What is your response? Recruit them. Teach them to be hostile. After a lengthy military campaign, you overtake the capitol city of a rival nation. However, the city is still intact, along with most of the citizens being alive. What do you do? Slaugther the citizens, raze the city and dismantle the walls brick by brick. Leave not even a reminder that a city once stood there. Your cities are starving and the only source of extra food is an empire that demands you give up your strongest squad of men. What do you do? Attack them and take their food. And burn whatever I cant take. Two of your neighbors, one on friendly terms, the other unfriendly, have recently fought in a war, and are now weak. What do you do? Attack the unfriendly one. There is a red button on your desk, what is it for? Security. There is a trial in your city, where a 'scientist' claims that the earth goes around the moon, rather than the moon being reborn each day by the sky gods. The courts have sentanced him to death, what do you do? Let people decide for themselves. I.E. dont let him get executed. While out with your fellow hunters, a large flying stone with a green middle hovers overhead, bathing you in a green light. What do you do? Wait. If it attacks, attack back. Choose one of the following: A) A B) A C) B D) 42 E) None of the above F.) All of the above.
