Grim alone had more IAG than you. You had less technology than the world combined, guaranteed You had the same reduced infrastructure, which after the attack would've been reduced even more. I fail to see how our empires would just suddenly collapse for no reason. Europe open on three sides? That doesn't even mean anything. I highly doubt that. What you're essentially saying is 'I would spend all my money to shuttle countless troops all the way around the world to land that nobody really felt was useful, and so would have no money to defend myself later' Asia was already yours pretty much. Actually you were about to get beat to a pulp, since the ERE, France, Italy, Madacasgar, Argentina, and Russia were all going to attack on the last day of the budget with as much force as could be afforded (around 200m soldiers) and take as much of India so next decade you'd be left with a budget of around 100b.

Yes, they were used for quite a while, a have been obsolete for 1000 years. Hell even the Roman legions would laugh when they saw some backwards eastern state fielding chariots.
