  1. I left the land I have now untouched. And by people I assume you mean me, since I was the only player who not in the NWO (aside from Doom, but she had 2 1/2 continents already zz). Oh no, there's still around 40 updates left at least, I've just figured out how to end it in spectacular fashion.
  2. Sorry, I'm halfway through the update, that was just a change to the front banner since I know how the AAR ends now. Here's the half if you're impatient hehe: [hide]There was a growing suspicion that the title of Transylvania’s king was a cursed position. Each king since Stibor had died in a most gruesome of manner. Janos Durazzo took a pike to the stomach and spilled his guts all across the plains of Erz, during battle with the Bohemians. István’s wound re-opened and he bled to death in the bed of the royal chamber, and Mihály inherited the throne, complete with a civil war. His early reign was bleak, with death and violence a frequent part of Transylvanian life during the time. A plague swept across the province of Budjak, narrowly contained within the province by Transylvanian soldiers who halted all persons exiting the region. Trade ground to a halt, as no merchants wanted to travel to the port cities to embark to other countries. Bulgarian rebels sprouted like weeds across the southern parts of the kingdom. It was a dark time. Times such as those always seemed to give king’s more power, however. In late 1454, Mihály passed an law dictating that the king alone was the supreme commander of the military forces, mitigating the effects of the Liberum Veto somewhat (decision: Pass Militia Act). Mihály’s other policies were starting to show promise as well, where his brutal efficiency in the craft of governance shone. He was not terribly smart in managing the economy of the kingdom, but what he lacked in skill he made up for in brutality. The regions recently conquered from the Turks had been fully integrated into the Ottoman empire, and held sympathetic views towards the Turkish sultanate. They were Islamic in religion as well, though that would quickly change. Hell bent on bringing the kingdom united under one faith, a detachment of the King’s guard arrived in Silistria and Bulgaria in December of 1454, and set about burning the mosques of Islam, and slaughtering the few Muslims that had decided to remain within Transylvania, rather than flee back to other Turkish lands. The ‘conversions’ were successful, as people accepted Christ, more through fear than through love; but such minor details were trivial to Mihály; one kingdom, united in faith! The Slaughter of Bulgarian Muslims, December, 1454 King Mihály wasn’t solely concentrated on internal affairs though. In truth, the internal workings of Transylvania interested him little; his stated purpose was to expand the borders, and make the world fear the name of Transylvania. It was an ambitious goal, but he was an ambitious man. The Kingdom of Napoli to the west of Transylvania had fallen upon hard times. Their ruler had been excommunicated by his Holiness the Pope, and Napoli had found itself at war with the remainder of the Italian states, and a very powerful Castille. Mihály was largely undeterred by such things, and offered the Neapolitans an alliance, which they graciously accepted. It was a fruitless alliance, but Mihály was only interested in having the large powers of the region favourable towards Transylvania, so that he may concentrate on the heathens on his eastern border. [/hide] Haven't proof read so there's probably some mistakes there Which Cities? Hm, let's say...Brest!
  3. Maybe I hid bombs underneath all the cities and I'll detonate them when your troops take over. Hehe. Well, if its part of Europe and it gets attacked then any of the European powers can declare war as per the Europa Doctrine (except for Sere, since he wants to be 'neutral' about his own policy).
  4. To be honest...your only option is to do what I did...be strong everywhere...Course, it helps to have a small country. Or you COULD just take over that little piece of land, and ask Dusty if he wants to fight over it. I always want to fight. Anyways, the ERE declares that little tiny strip of land part of Europe. Hehe.
  5. Hex can be frodo It really doesn't matter to me. Also, Dungeonal: :D
  6. Why would I do that? Why can't you just be like Rocco and assume that that is where I will attack from and so spend copious amounts of money fortifying the area while I just march through Siberia and smash India's skull? Oh that, that was a long time ago lol. And I'm not even anywhere near the Baltic.
  7. Hm. I concur. Lol, Dungeonal would be vewwy vewwy angry with that.
  8. I like history, so yes. Mars has a long history of boring.
  9. You see, he just has a 'I am going to win' attitude...which beats everyone else's 'I am going to play the game' attitude.... So I should just roll over and give Icu any land that he asks for? And anyone else? Oh yes, that is a 'I am going to win' attitude; holding onto stuff that I've taken. -- Icu the whole point is you have a base of operations close by that's fully under your control. I'm just planning for the inevitable, which is why I have land on nearly every continent ;-)
  10. Hm. They didn't want to give me a few square miles so I killed everyone. Btw that's Ethiopia. It means I'm not invading a beach-head. And no. P*ss off. -- Anyways, the politics and schemeing is more fun then actually 'winning'. Also Arch, I don't think I've ever made anyone bawwquit on my own.
  11. I just wanted a little strip so I could attack you later without having to bother with an amphibious assault. Not much I can do about Trol aside from declaring war on him though.
  12. We didn't feel like letting Dungeonal have two of the richest continents on the planet entirely to himself. Florida is controlled by me and Cuba by Russia. The Europa Doctrine was originally signed in order to keep Hex out of Europe and thus keeping him contained in Asia. Okay. Just realize that I can't come to your defense if you get yourself into a war with half of Europe. I don't plan on declaring war on you or anything, but you will definitely create some major enemies. Honestly, I'm not all that fussed with you expanding into the Baltic States, but you also have to realize that most people are. Also, as a side-note, I will offer neutrality in this conflict, but here's a little warning. If you decide to attack me or my associated territories (which is the same thing in all honesty), then you will also have declared war on all of my allies, both known and unknown. Likewise, in order to keep me out of a conflict, you will also have to stop expanding in Europe, otherwise, my alliances will force me into a war. ... The Europa Doctrine was your [bleep]ing idea Sere, what the hell do you mean 'I offer neutrality'? Good thing the UN doesn't exist then.
  13. No I meant it was silly in that I seem to have to conquer the entire country, kill hundreds of thousands of people, just to get a tiny little strip of land from them. Also nice to see that my infrastructure dropped by half somehow. Anyways, now that Pakistan is under ERE control, ERE troops are kicking people out of their homes and demolishing all of Pakistan's cities, destroying the roads, salting the farmlands, and basically just destroying everything, aside from the tiny little strip of land that I originally wanted, which remains untouched. Oh, and we bring back slaves just because they're insolent bastards. They'll be used to build stuff until they starve to death. After that's all done and Pakistan is crippled for the next millennium, the ERE withdraws back to its lands and leaves one big giant wasteland where Pakistan used to be (again, aside from that tiny little piece of land that remains under ERE control and whatnot).
  14. Pakistan had its army conveniently placed exactly at the spot I decided on a whim to attack? Hmm (Rhode island is a tiny inland state in the US dusty) Why is it called a bloody island if its not an island? See that's silly though. Also, just for shenanigans I took that test thingy: Precisely. I'm not keeping it though. -- The ERE mounts a sea-borne invasion of Pakistan, totalling around 780,000 troops, complete with naval and air force support. It's mongol time! Just keep attacking them until the country is taken Arch. Ima go play some EU3.
  15. It would be like the USSR invading Rhode Island while all its residents were out working off the island and an asteroid falling from the sky and destroying their army.
  16. Just annoyed that 100,000 troops somehow couldn't manage to take an area the size of a school playground from an enemy that had no warning whatsoever of an attack.
  17. Eh he would do it anyways. Find it kind of silly that I would need to mount a full million strong zerg attack just to get a few square miles of beach.
  18. Psf fine, I'll just carpet bomb them then. Navy goes out and bombards their port cities, and F20s and other assorted silliness bomb the jeebus out of their cities. Obviously, it goes without saying that at this point 90% of my attack force will die from carpal tunnel or tripping on their shoe laces.
  19. And no, nukes don't cost billions to deploy. They're just getting fired from silos, and their fuel isn't made out of the tears of virgins.
  20. Alright well I just nuke it then. Impudent bastards don't want to give me a strip of their land. So yeah, should be around 20 nukes that land in their most populated cities and whatnot.
  21. Nowhereistan blows up the army. Cost: 9,000,000,000 Treasury: 972,838,800,000 Lol, well then, if they have no army I'll just take the whole country. If you want Ross or Icu, I'll just sell the parts I don't want to you guys.
  22. I'm going ahead with Somalia and Azerbaijan and here: AKA, the invasion of nowhereistan Not really, since Armenia is already Byzantine culture.
  23. Kaffa actually. Fine, invasion of the big white blob in eastern europe is halted, since Arch doesn't seem to think it prudent to inform me that an NPC country on my border has a massive military. But, y'know, that sort of information is neccessary for Britain...
  24. Minor expansions, just to either pretty up the borders or gain some sort of foothold in other areas... Hopeful borders afterwards: *hoists the flame shield*
