  1. No, no Wii release. They always have a PC release later on though.
  2. Seems like suicide is your only option. The rest of us, rejoice!
  3. You should. ;) Fire seems to sell the best. Shadow is the least. I think air/water/life/earth is all about the same. At least on my server.
  4. Rockstar has just made a new website dedicated to a countdown to the GTA4 trailer coming out. Last I checked, it was 27 days, 8 hours, some odd minutes and a few seconds. :P The site doesn't have any screenshots or any information up yet even, but Rockstar was quoted as saying that they're "very far" into the completion of GTA4, and the released a release date for the game aswell yesterday, which is October 16th, 2007. I expect that once the trailer hits, the screen shots and information will start pumpin' out too! REJOICE! :P

There's no reason he couldn't have, Jackalope, but I just think it's a lame argument. It's the whole "God can defy physics and science because he created it, but oh yea...science is BS and the Bible is truth!" stuff. Adn that's really all it is...People saying science is BS because it goes against the Bible, but when it suits them, they'll say that God created science and thus can manipulate it. That may be the case, but science today is telling us that God doesn't even exist. Unless the Dinosaurs were some previous failed experiment God failed to mention, and what we believe to be "early man" were either also failed experiments he again failed to mention, or in actuality, are The Nephilim of Bible tale (which wouldn't make sense, seeing as it says they were giants, and early man was smaller than modern humans, and umm...No giant bones so far...), then the Bible is just...wrong. We know that these things existed before the Bible was ever even thought about...I fail to see why God wouldn't mention these things. They're pretty important.
  6. They are trick questions. A lot of people wouldn't think of the Sun as a star, so they'd be like "Umm...Geez...What's the closest star then...Alpha Centauri?" and they'd be wrong. It's not that the people are stupid, it's that they're trick questions and they're not thinking in the right mind to answer them. That said, I would have gotten all of those right, because...Okay, okay...The people are stupid.
  7. I'm really diggin' how fast you can get money in BC. I played for about 12 hours on my 63 and made 500g off quests, mob junk drops and about 100g was from selling motes on the AH. Motes are like 3g per on my server, and 30g per primal. :anxious: Sold a couple primals and 3 stacks of Fel Iron Bars...100g. :P So, I have enough for my epic wolf finally...
  8. Maybe you should read the posts.
  9. I thought he could fly? Yeeeea.
  10. Are you against [developmentally delayed]? Do you believe that they shouldn't have had the chance to live? We're talking about making it so people don't HAVE to go through life like that. Of course they deserve to live, but do they LIKE being mentally [developmentally delayed]ed? No.

What part of "all powerful" dont you understand? I understand every word of it. What part of "proof to the contrary" or how about "where is your proof, anyways?" don't you understand? No need to get snippy, Mister. There are logical thinkers, and then there are people who just say "The Bible says so." which isn't a logical argument at all. You're not taking into account that the Bible could very well be fiction mixed in with historical places. Yes, said places existed, but that doesn't mean there is a God in the sky lookin' down on us, does it? I have nothing against people who believe in God, but at least have a reason other than "The Bible says so."...I believe there could be a God, but I'm also not a guppy. I'm not going to sit back and not question it, because when you don't question it, you turn into one of those "The Bible says so." drones that take no part in logical discussions because they feel they're better than that. That they don't NEED to explain anything, because afterall, "the Bible says so."
  12. I guess the perfect humans would have to be reminded of who created them perfectly, Barihawk. But besides that, it would never happen that way...They'd be created, and eventually, the rest of us "imperfect" people would be dead before there were even enough of them to find us inferior. And really, we're not talking about creating people who can kill more efficiently or run faster or be stronger, we're talkin' about people without diseases.

Yes, but that's a lame argument. It's not really an argument once you just say "God made it possible!", is it? It's just the end-all and it takes no thinking or factual proof at all. Did God also help Noah build the Ark and defy physics keeping it afloat? Did God also bring all the animals from other continents to Noah, then put them back? Why even write about Noah if God did all the work?
  14. Pretty much have to exersize it off. However, I've been taking a supplement called CLA500 (Linoliec Acid) along with my other vitamins and stuff for working out (it's a "vitamin" itself, if you will, not a supplement like Creatine), and anyways, it's supposed to help your body get rid of fat in that area of the body. I have the same problem as you kinda', and I've noticed over the last few DAYS even, that some of the fat seems to have disappated. Hard to believe, I know, but I haven't changed my diet (infact I've been eating MORE since taking it) and haven't done any cardio work-outs. Kinda' interesting. I'd reccomend if you were to go look for some though, that you don't just go to GNC and buy a $10 bottle of it. I get mine from a company called "Nutrilite" and it's $40 a bottle because it's high-quality stuff. They're stuff is generally more expensive, but it's because it's all top-of-the-line. Stuff you'll find in GNC and the like is usually 12% of what it actually says it is, because they're going by guide lines set in 1989...
  15. It's sad, but the most original people around are the people who don't try to be original. When you try to be original, like by being a goth, chav, whatever, then you're just joining a group of tools that are clones of you. Just...Wear normal clothes. Normal hair. Normal stuff. Stop trying to be different, it makes everyone the same.

...Would that even matter? We'd all be related anyways...Twice over, apparently, since Noah and his family had to start it all over. Nevermind the fact that this is impossible genetically. I've heard religious people here say many times over "Nuh-uh! After 5 generations genetic defects are no longer a problem!"...Yea, whatever. Ever heard of those Mormon Polygimous sects? They're being ridden with deformed babies and stuff. It's like the Bible actively being disproved in real-time experiments! Well, that particular story(s), anyways. And if one or two is false, why take the rest seriously? Religious people (some anyways) have actually reverted to saying the Bible isn't "literal" just so they can keep saying is was inspired by God. I dunno' why people can't just accept that people back then were stupid, wrote a story, and here we are, arguing over it.

...Did you know that the Nile river floods like, every year?

I see nothing violent about this man's sig. Yep...Bashing your head into a wall is perfectly normal.
  19. Can you prove that statement? While I can't prove he didn't, you cant prove he did, and if this tomb is to be believed - he didn't. People just don't seem to get the odds that it ISN'T Jesus' tomb. Yes, Mary was a common name. 25% of women were apparently named Mary. 4% of men were apparently named Jesus. I'm sure even more were named Joseph. I'm sure even more were named Josia. But you you cut it back down to Mary of Magdala, a town on the Western shore of Galilee, and then shove "Jesus, son of Joseph" and "Joseph" all into the same tomb, implying they were family, throw in a child of the two...The chances of it being a coincidence are quite small. Religious people, of all people, love to say how small the chances are that evolution ever happened, but why are the chances of this being fake immediately 100%? Because the Bible says it can't possibly be true? What if the Bible is wrong? What if the Bible is just a story? Apparently unthinkable to you. And Merc, if this wasn't thought to be Jesus' tomb, it wouldn't be a very good find at all. :P It'd just be some random Jews in a tomb...Not too exciting to the world, aye? :P
  20. God, I just got out of Zanger on one of my characters and I never wanna' see that place again. The mushrooms got old FAST. :P
  21. Aren't you simply the converse? Since Jesus' "body" is there, you are praising it and worshiping it as "proof" of the entire story being true, but if it wasn't there, you would simply dismiss it as coincidence. I'm not worshipping it OR saying it was proof, and trust me dude, if they opened a tomb with these names, and all the bodies were present and the one labeled "Jesus" was gone, I'd be in church THIS SUNDAY. Believe that.
  22. No, not everything in it is wrong. Some of the places written about in the Bible actually existed. That doesn't make God real, though.
  23. It's only 2,000 years. The inscriptions were pretty worn, but they were readable. It was etched into stone. And secondly, why do people keep using the Bible as proof that this isn't *THE* Jesus' tomb? What's being implied here is that the Bible is wrong. Using the Bible as proof in an argument is like slamming your head in the fridge...It doesn't make sense and people who see it go "Oooow...Why did he do THAT?!"
  24. To prove the Bible WRONG? You shouldn't try to prove things wrong, you should seek the truth. Fully implied that the Bible is said truth, right? Nice to see people are always looking at both sides of the story... Anyways, noone is saying Jesus did not exist or that Jesus was not executed on the cross. There are apparently records that he existed, and crucifixtion was a rather common manner of execution at the time. What is being said is that if that is indeed *THE* Jesus' tomb, and his body is in there, that the entire Christian religion is false, because they base it all around Jesus' resurrection and ascension into Heaven. If his body is in there...Obviously he never rose and ascended. The only problem is that you could never be 100% sure it is *THE* Jesus. It'd be a very large coincidence if a family with the same names were all buried in the same tomb, but all evidence saying it is *THE* Jesus is speculation and circumstantial. My point was that I just found it funny how quickly Christians dismissed it as fake, but they'll believe in obviously fake things (Shroud of Turin) just because it proves their faith right, and if this tomb was found, opened, and Jesus' body was gone, they'd be raving it was proof instead of saying it's just a coincidence.
  25. Like I said, they can never prove it's "his" DNA, they can only say his and the "Mary" body were not a match, thus that they were married. If they were related, for example, it would make the whole thing pointless. I'm not even saying it's proof of anything, I'm personally just saying it's very curious that religious people will be so quick to dismiss it, but they'll believe in a stupid peice of cloth that's obviously fake, carbon dating or no, and if Jesus' body wasn't in this tomb, they would be saying it's proof. Ya' know.
