  1. Geeeeez, people are just gettin' dumber.
  2. Bah. Console/Computer fanboys confuse me. All you're doing it missing out on the good games on one or the other. Don't be a tool. :P
  3. More monitoring will not change how they are being raised by the parents. Although that shock collar may not be a bad idea. :-k Yea, parents need to get off their [wagon] too, but it'll at least take the "guess work" out of parenting. :P And yea, I'd like a shock collar for those kids across the street. I'd hit it just for fun to keep them on their toes. Little bastards.
  4. Kid's will always be against more monitoring, but once you grow up you'll realize it's kinda' necessary. You kids are naughty little brats these days and need some discipline, so if your parents want to find out that you were down at the river smoking pot again, they should be able to know this and beat your [wagon] so you stop acting like a moron. Just my 2 cents. Most of the stuff being invented is being put in place for kidnapping deturrents, anyways. Which noone could say is a bad idea. But I'm also all for the "8-15 shock collar", because that age group kinda' needs it. I know I wasn't as bratty as kids today are when I was 8-15, and I'm only 20 as it is. My neighbor's kid is like 10 and told me to "Go f*ck myself" because I told them they should watch where the walk because it was icey and they might slip and fall. WOW. Sorry boss, better go drop my pants and get to work. My mistake!
  5. Then you SHOULD believe in this. If it were indeed Jesus' tomb, and his body was there, it would prove that Jesus was not the Messiah, and you could probably take it one step further and say there is no God, because let's face it...Jesus has only saved one thing so far, and that's religion's butt. I believe that if there was never a Messiah claimed to have come, almost noone would believe in the Judeo-Christian God today. Afterall, only 0.3% of the world are Jews. And Jewish is a hard religion to follow. All the Christian religions are easy as Hell. Do something bad, say sorry and you're forgiven! People like easy stuff. :P
  6. My mom got into an accident when I was a baby, but I, of course, don't remember it... And, some old fart loser hit me in October and totalled my car. The story is posted here on tip.it already, and so far I've received no money for it. His insurance company is screwing me because the intersection had no signs at all, yet their client hit me when I was 3/4 the way through AND I was on the main street, thus had the right of way. I'm about to e-mail State Farm, greatly bloating the readership base of my website saying that I will write about their horribleness, etc etc, and hopefully they'll figure that the $4k they owe me is worth more than losing customers. Afterall, their damn CEO makes more than that per day. I think they can part with it, what with their 48 billion dollar profits and all.
  7. Jesus is alive now? Sheesh. He went from run-of-the-mill Messiah to God himself to actually physically alive? How about no. Even if he does exist as the deity he's claimed to be (which isn't God himself), he isn't "alive". :P
  8. Success doesn't necessarily mean brilliance. It's Rockstar. They made Table Tennis awesome. How many companies could have done that? But seriously, Rockstar always delivers. Just like...Blizzard...Relic...Epic...Etc etc.
  9. I've leveled a couple characters past 40 now, and I've never actually quested in Desolace. I'm beginning to think the Horde just has an outpost there, but that it's an alliance zone. I've never had a quest send me there, and I think I've only done one quest there (guarding the goblin's kodo from centaur) and that's it. *Shrug*
  10. Not exactly. They didn't know if it was meant to be range-based along with magic. Why shouldn't it be? Anyway, Jagex knew about it pretty quickly and fixed it right away. Only the developers define what bug abuse is. For example, I personally would classify mourners as bug abuse but Jagex never fixed it so probably they meant for it to be that way. If you mean when mourners had like 3 hp and gave pretty good exp at their level....it was fixed...i talked to Paul about it back then so he said he changed stats of them and added to next update. Everyone was levelling at mourners as well as me with my noob character :P I took also screenshot of some noob bragging about hitting high numbers with full inventory of knives and he demostrated that to skeletons in wildy while i was watching...though i cannot find that screenshot anymore. But not before someone got 99hp off them. Maniac 666. Anyways, I remember that place...I trained about 100k exp there once because I was bored...Took like 10 mins. They were 1-shotters (3hp or 5, I forget) and respawned within like 4 seconds, so basically you just went between the 4 spawns 1 shotting them all for 200 exp per 4 hits. Pretty cool.
  11. It's on tonight, by the way. At 9PM, 8 Central I think...Discovery Channel. ...Which SUCKS because "The Dark Ages" is also on at the same time on the History Channel. Boooo. :P
  12. PS3 is lucky to be getting it, don't get greedy. :P Yes, I am serious when I say that, too. GTA was supposed to be bought as a PS3 exclusive, but Sony's President slacked and lost all their exclusivity deals, GTA included. PWNED, and thank god, because I wouldn't have bought a PS3 even to play my favourite series. :P
  13. TAKE PICTURES. :P I can't see it...I live in Minnesota, and when I look, all I can see is that the sun is WAY brighter than usual (I'm still seeing spots 10 mins later :P)...Can't see the moon.
  14. I think the success will continue. They've made 5 great games people loved in the past, and the name-brand alone sells 10 million+ copies when a new one comes out. Until they make a crappy one, people who bought the last one will always buy the next one. :P And that's a good motivator to make sure your game doesn't suck in the first place. Quality is always taken into account by buyers. ...Unless you buy EA games like Madden. Then you're just a tool inside of a toolbox inside of a toolshed. In other words, you're a tool. "WOW! Updated rosters! SO WORTH $60!"
  15. Most attractive: Females. Everything. Lower body especially. :P Least attractive: Males. Everything. No, I'm not a homphobe, I just think males are VERY unsexy to look at. :P
  16. Sh*t is just considered more vulgar. What makes it more vulgar than any other word is beyond me, but whatever. People just like to whine. All they are to me is adjectives, and I use them as such when needed.

Parents should only butt-in if it's dangerous, like if their child is dating someone who drinks or does drugs or something, THEN you step in and say "Um, no." because at that point, your kid will likely get sucked into it aswell...Peer pressure, ya' know.
  18. I liked to fly around in the...flying vehicles, whatever they're called...Banshee's? Anyways, me and my friend would try to shoot eachother down and dodge eachother's shots using aerial moves. :P I do the same stuff in GTA and BF2 aswell, lol.
  19. Eating is just as important as working out, so make sure you're eating right too.

Yeah, and I've never heard a human being say "Wow, science has brought me so much fulfillment in life! I'm so glad I've spent my life acquiring knowledge that neither affected my heart nor helped me love the people around me". When you're on your deathbed, are you going to say "Gee, I just wish I had studied science more!"? Actually, I could see that being thought. Science is fascinating and we're always finding out new stuff. Once you read the Bible...That's kinda' the end of it. You know all there is to know about it. These people who claim "Oh no, I've read the Bible 100 times and I'm STILL learning about God!" are dilusional. God isn't that mysterious if you're religious...He's only mysterious to people like me who just don't get why it's accepted that he's a "loving God" while at the same time he'll send good people to Hell. I don't believe that, however...But you do.
  21. Shaman suck.. hardcore right now. Warriors are getting a nice buff in 2.0.10, don't shelve him! 20%-30% more rage generated and intercept/charge breaks snares. Nice gear krunk :). SRSLY?! Wow, dude, that may seem like a small buff to some, but it's absolutely amazing. That more rage alone will make Fury how it used to be, and Arms even better. Wow. I'm going to give my warrior another go, I guess. It's sad too, though...Just wasted 19 hours /played on my shaman getting him to 22. :P I can't wait for that...The only thing that stopped me from absolutely dominating on my warrior was usually getting snared. Stuns don't effect me as much atm because of second wind, which makes me generate like 600hp right now... Ah well, thanks for the info. I never bothered reading patch notes because I thought warriors were getting nerfed and I just DIDN'T want to know.
  22. I hope any young people that read the article don't start developing "ideas"... You *could* invade their little country by hiring 200 mercenaries from North Africa and sailing across the ocean and crossing Italy with a transport truck, labeling it as "health products". But just because they can't fight back, doesn't mean you could rule their country without international repercussions. You'd be expelled from the UN and probably face a NATO attack, just a reminder. You could briefly tax the population and seize government treasuries and assets though. Planning a one-person take-over tomorrow morning at dawn.

How does science go against believing in God? If anything they coincide :-s . We can't really come anywhere close to disproving a God with science; the God could easily be a transcendent one who just created everything and let things roll, or be in some form we can't possibly begin to understand. Science is corrently not, and will never, disprove the existence of a God. Maybe the Bible, but not a God. Personally, I don't think God talked to people and things any more back then than he does now :-w . Science and God can exist together, assuming God just randomly decides to break the laws of science in order to do things, which, sure...He can do that. However, Evolution and God don't go together at all. That's why religious people accept science, but deny Evolution, which is science, not a belief. There is a great deal of proof that the Earth and the things on it did indeed evolve from former-states, but this contradicts the Bible. It's a matter of what you want to believe...Modern science, or ancient history stories. Now, I believe there could be a God, but I do NOT believe he is this random-assed Christian God that everyone bows to. That God makes no sense at all. Punish good people, create just to destroy, blame it all on Satan, blah blah blah. I refuse to believe someone, like for example, my father, is going to burn eternally in Hell just because he never accepted Jesus. My dad's a really good person and always worked hard to provide for us and I am to believe someone like him will be punished because they just didn't have TIME to sit and ponder if Jesus was the Messiah? Please. My dad doesn't have TIME to think about crap like that. He's too busy thinking about things that matter, because if he didn't, we'd be out in the streets. This is the kinda' thing religious people like to avoid answering. When you ask "Why would a good person like that be sent to Hell?" they kinda' just avoid it or give the old "Well, God gave them a choice..." speach. Wrong. God doesn't give some people choices. Some people do not have the knowledge of God, even. They dunno' a word about him. And I'm to believe these people are all going to Hell and only Christians get eternal life? Ha. The Christian religion is a false one, even if Jesus was the Messiah. And why should I have to get sucked into a cult for salvation? Why can it not just be about me and God? Why can't I die, go up and have a little conversation with God and be judged that way? Surely it can't be black and white. It can't just be "You accepted Jesus, you're going to Heaven, you didn't, you're going to Hell." I refuse to believe God is that...Stupid. He isn't. People are insulting him by assuming it's like that. I guess, in closing, when I stand before God and he says "Begone, for I never knew you." I can say "It is you who knew me better than anyone, it is I who did not know you." and God could respond "Yes, and that is because your faith in me was small." And I can respond, "My faith was not the problem, but my lack of stupidity was. Would you rather I blindly accepted the masses rhetoric about you, which portrayed you as an evil, hateful God, or would you rather I question their statements and challenged them with my own, implying that you are indeed the loving God you claim to be?" Surely, God wouldn't send someone to Hell just because they tried to understand him in a way that wasn't in par with the masses, who I consider to be wrong, because they make God out to be a bloodthirsty evil being, and they seemingly only worship him out of fear. I have no fear of God, because I know that an infinite benig would like nothing more than to hear my point of view rather than sit and listen to same same old "fake love out of fear" story. If he wishes to send me to Hell, so be it, but it will have to be for something a little less petty than not accepting Jesus. And for the last time, joining a cult doesn't give you access to Heaven anymore than it does me.
  24. its a bit early for rockstar isnt it? :? I don't follow... No?
  25. You shelved a shaman? Boooo. :P I'm currently trying to level one myself...Quite fun. I've shelved my warrior (63, almost 64) because I'm bored with the class. I should just find someone to trade accounts with. Hell, I'd play anything other than my warrior at this point as long as it was level 60.
