Ugh. What now!!! Okay, I got my DVD drive and I meet all the other specs to run my games...I installed the DVD drive, installed the game and clicked to play it...Boom... "Not enough virtual memory to run the game. Your system total paging files must amount be at least 768MB. Please consult the manual that came with your OS." The game says I need 512MB of RAM and I have 768MB of RAM, so obviously I have enough. If "Virtual Memory" is different from RAM, the game case says nothing special about it. :-k Or does that mean total disk space? Because I'm almost positive I have more than 768MB...I just uninstalled 2 different games, one being WoW...This game is 6.5GB total and uninstalling WoW alone left me with like 12GB of space, so... Argh. I'm frusterated. I need to learn more about computers. What the hell do I need to do now? :lol: Thanks... :oops:

Looks like I didn't need any software afterall. :uhh: My dad and I installed it just now and I put a game in it and it installed just fine. Works. :-k

Ah, really? I was told you needed some special cable and the software, or something... The thing I got was from LG...I'll have to go looking for software for it... :uhh:

Oh, and I've been asking people I know and so far noone has figured it out. One of my friend's friends just sat there and stared at me....Kinda' creepily...He didn't know, I guess. Going to ask my dad tonight, he says he's the smartest person EVAR so we shall see, batman! I'm sure he'll get it, though. :(

Just found out the one that was linked to me was an OEM drive, not retail, so it comes with no software apparently... :roll: Hooray for wrong information and wasted money.

Lots of people do meth, and they enjoy it. Meth is unarguabley bad. :P I actually disagree that meth is unarguably bad. It can have dangerous consequences, certainly, including addiction - however, I think that since it primariy affects the individual in question, and not other people negatively, it's not necessarily a bad thing for oneself. There's very little that you can't argue over in the world :D Still have to lean towards unarguably bad. :lol: I know a lot of people who do Meth, or have done it...Minnesota is one of the worst Meth areas, and I live in one of the worst Meth areas in Minnesota, sooo...Yea, I see it quite a bit. My uncle has done it for years...His teeth are all but gone...What he DOES have left are rotting and falling out...All his "friends" have the same thing going on...They look old as hell, too. One of my friends in school used to be all smart, good with the ladies, you know...Now he's this skinny creepy looking guy and he's just...Dumb. Talking to him is like talking to a 12 year old...Same with my uncle, who is 34. They just seem to have the intellect of a child when you talk to them. Also know a kid that was 300 pounds and now he's like 130 and his skin is all saggy...Looks creepy...I guess the "meth diet" is "good" for you, though, so maybe you've got me this time, batman! O:)

Yeah, I remember back in junior high the teachers always told us that people are gonna tell us it's cool, it's not going to hurt us, we're not cool if we don't try it. But I've been offered pot once and I just said no and the guy dropped the subject.. I don't really give into much peer preassure. The only people who can preassure me into doing something is the girl I like. Other than that, nobody has been able to preassure me into doing anything. People ask if you want to try it just to be polite. If you say no, they figure "Sweeeeet! More for me!" True story.

I read that was actually a myth, and while he was never a great student, he was never horrible. Like the "He got an F in math" myth is apparently not true, however I agree with you...I always did average in school but I can confidently say I am more intelligent than the morons I am surrounded by that spend every waking minute of their life trying to find their next party so they can get drunk, lol. And Bmw, their exact words were: "How can you tell if you might be a genius? Well, if you can do this problem, you may very well be..." I expected a hard problem that would make me feel stupid all day, but apparently not...:P

I would doubt 10 and 11 year olds could do that (most of them, anyways) because of how the question is worded. You have to do the problem backwards, plus fractions, plus devision and finally, addition. :P It's supposed to prove you're working at a genius level because it's worded all backwards from what a normal math problem usually is. Once you figure out how to do it, it's really easy.

I said one of the best. I believe the best is the 9800X Pro or whatever they're called, but last time I looked, they were like $200. I gave a cheap, viable alternative. Not everyone wants to pay insane amounts of money just to get something to work. I can play BF2 on my computer just fine.

If you don't know what video card you have, then you probably have a stocker video card that sucks. Go to your computer store and see if you have an AGP slot or a PCI Express slot. Newer computers have PCI Express, older ones have AGP. I believe on of the best cards you can get for AGP slots are Radeon 9500's, which is what I have. They're probably under $50...PCI Express slots can run all the newest, uber cards. So yea, be prepared to make a lil investment. :P
