    Umm... Runescape?
  1. I'm 96 combat and I already have 100 ep. Need someone with 100 ep who is ready to trick. Add phil helmuth in game and pm me. Thanks.
  2. Hmmm, didn't the earth rune and empty cert dupe happen BEFORE the phat dupe? Thus making your point about the phat dupe being the first dupe incorrect? ~Dave
  3. I've been a lot nicer than that. =) Anyone who has been to any of my quiting drop parties (where I drop everything from my bank (normally converted into good items before the party) only to come back 5-6 months later broke and with a desire to earn it all back) knows that I give out some insane yummies. I have a video somewhere of my latest drop party that shows at least some of the yummies... ~Dave
  4. 500-1000 might be a little high, but 50 is far far too low. There are more than 50 people who play everyday who bought a blue when they were 5mil or lower and refuse to sell it, and don't even know the price of it because it doesn't matter since it will always be THEIR blue hat. You might say those don't count because they aren't traded. But if there are that many people just in that category... think of all the people who are willing to sell or trade them regularly. Its a point not worth arguing about though. There is no need to defend a bank as nice as yours. Whether you are the richest or 100th richest, with 4 phat sets+ and with millions of accounts, that is still a darn good feat. ~Dave
  5. Ironic or not, can anyone blame the man for trying to turn years of playing into money? =) He earned it with that bank. And with four party hat sets, you aren't the richest... unless you have four sets and an extra 20 blues or something. =) There are some sick staking banks as well as some merchants that never flaunted their stuff as much as you fellas and that haven't quit. But its not like that matters since your bank is banging one way or another both back then and now. ~Dave
  6. Mmmm yummy screenshot. Don't kick yourself too hard for giving so much away... unlike me you still kept a nice size chunk for yourself. The new bank pic would be nice to see as well. =) Have you talked to Duke at all recently... he hasn't been on MSN the past few weeks and I feel like bugging him. =) ~Dave
  7. Won't change a thing. Think about it... what do merchants do? Buy low and sell high of course! How do they do this? They either go through their friendslist or get lucky and run into players they don't know who are selling at a low price, most commonly in a crowded market world. What will change? Merchants can live at this new Exchange building searching for good deals, then relist items for a higher price and still turn their profit, while still buying things threw old aquantences and people they run across who haven't put the items into the new Exchange system yet. Merchants make their money off of noob who don't know prices, people who need quick cash and will sell low to get it, or people who haven't played in a while and don't know prices. These groups aren't going anywhere... they will still be around. Merchants will just do less face to face business... ~Dave
  8. I and others have been saying for years that Jagex needs to raise level caps to survive longterm. I mean look at the trend... max HP has stayed at 99 while weapons have gone from hitting in the 20's to into the 70's. Either 1.) Jagex never adds a more powerful weapon, and in time EVERYONE has godswords and the game is very strange with such a proliferation of hits taking like 70-100% of our HP in one hit, 2.) Jagex continues the trend and soon people can one hit those with 99 hp, or 3.) Jagex ups the HP cap and can continue their trend of releasing bigger and better weapons and armour. HP is hardly the only state that could use a boost from its current max. What the game needs is a MASSIVE update with a raised level cap for all skills and new things to do at these high levels. Jagex has said this will never happen, and I agree. Runescape will die in a few years, and Jagex will release a new game. Simple as that. Think of everything they have learned from making RS from scratch... And if they make the same mistakes... we can laugh at them and know for a fact what we have all assumed... that we are smarter than Jagex and could run an MMO better than them. =) ~Dave
  9. 2 years... WOW. I was muted once for I believe 24 hours... it completely blew though because it was during my quiting drop party. =) I had to talk through a friend using AIM, lol. I don't think I could last 2 years without talking in game... maybe because I used to love merchanting? That would be hard to continue to do, lol. Grats on getting unmuted... you must be reeeaaallly happy. =) ~Dave
  10. No idea if this has been mentioned, or if you even care. =) But it was possible to get multiple bunny ears and scythes back when RS2 had JUST come out. There is no way to do so now. I can elaborate if you want. ~Dave
  11. You shouldn't regret not working for those 3k hours, you should regret not selling your bank for $ before getting it banned. Yes, we all know this is against the rules, but he was obviously willing to break them all anyway, which is evident from the ban and from what he said about the ban. If your are going to get banned, do so while selling your bank for $5,000+ EASY. I hope that is what you really did and that you are just lying to us now to avoid the bad name. Only morons purposely get over five grand banned away. =) And don't think the ban will stop you. I did the same thing and got 30+ blackmarks in the course of 5 minutes (have the pics to prove it =) ) and I used my last chance appeal and got the character back like a year after the ban because I wanted to see if it would work... then I started playing again. Never count RS out... it always wins... your soul. ~Dave[/u]
  12. It scares me that it has been a whole year since these things came out. I mean, it seems like they haven't been around long at all, which is because there have been so many big updates that preceded them. It makes me feel like I have been playing this game for FAR too long, which I have. The fact that so many people are saying this thing was a huge and runescape-changing update is scary as well. I mean it hasn't affected me at all, I feel like I have sat through too many of jagex's attempts to change how players think and play. When an entire year seems like a month, you know you are a loser who has played one game for far too long. I mean... I just think about all the people playing now that STARTED playing and saw skill capes (probably fletching or cooking, lol) their first week in the game, and I shudder. When I started playing, 99 was not just a goal that seemed impossible, it was something that no one ever even thought about it, because it WAS impossible. Scary things to think about, lol. ~Dave
  13. New and poor/bad players obviously make the higher levels feel better about themselves, and a few ego strokes here and there are a good thing. ;) They also obviously stimulate the economy and are therefore a necessity. I haven't mined a single ore since RSC, and if the noobs weren't always at the rocks mining every thing from clay to coal, we would need to do it ourselves. Not to mention all the other odds and ends that it is cheaper to buy off the low players than take time out of our more intense training and merchanting to get for ourselves. The little guys may be intensely annoying at times, but are also comical and necessary. ~Dave
  14. Don't bother keeping it safe. They have been around for over a year with no purpose at all. Another one of Jagex's countless blunders. Not to mention the fact they are untradeable and not all that hard to get. ~Dave
