I get pretty decent combat experience every time I go there, plus it's a good way to break the monotony of normal training.

Yep, I've found them great for Slayer tasks, incredibly cheap but incredibly effective- except for the pain in the butt that is buying them. So, it looks like I'm sticking to lobbies for now.

Well after messing around a bit it turns out you only can't do it while they're at zero- if I use the salt on them before their HP is totally depleted, or give them enough time for the red HP bar to disappear, it works. However, I'm pretty sure it hasn't always been like that.

Alright, here's one attempt. As you can see it's clearly low enough HP wise, and there isn't even anybody else in the area to fight it. And after that they kinda stop moving. Same one a couple of minutes later.

I have to kill rockslugs, and whenever I deplete their hitpoints and try to use a bag of salt on them, I get the message "Someone else is fighting that." What the heck?

I'm level 73, and I can kill trolls, with the exception of the fact that I had another three throwing rocks at me. Those 2s and 3s add up fast.

The Zanaris slayer master assigned me something like 96 trolls. I tried fighting trolls and almost got royally owned, so I Burthorped the assignment instead. When I finished with the crawling hands, or whatever it was, I went to Zanaris to get a real assignment and was assigned 117 trolls. :x Okay, I figured, one more time, so I Burthorped it and killed some dwarves. Back to Zanaris again, this time I get something like 132 trolls! So, should I keep switching my assignments, or should I just give up on slayer?

If something happens, like, you're talking to a girl, and an Otherworldly Being gets lucky and hits you hard, and you die and lose the gnome defence amulet... is there anything you can do? :(

If I remember correctly I've heard of an NPC which gives you unidentified herbs. Who is the character and how do you get the herbs?

On the topic of failed curses, what would the best source of water runes be? I don't have the time or money to craft them myself, so that's out of the question.

I'm level 67, looking for a good Pest Control world (good meaning, lots of participants, little discrimination, maybe WINNING once in a while). Many worlds I've been to, even with predominantly level 80+ players, are terrible.

That's three toads in my inventory? I get three and place one on the clearing, then he tells me to check if it's still there, or something to that effect.

I've reached the point in the quest where I have to place the bait, but every time I place it and go back to talk to Rantz he tells me I need to get more toads. Did I forget to do something?

I'm currently level 52 woodcutting- and I'm still using a steel axe. Unfortunately I only have level 44 smithing, so I can't make myself anything better. Where could I buy/what could I kill to get a higher-level axe?

You have a higher success rate when wearing full H.A.M., or so I've heard.

I'm a lower level (46 right now) but I can't believe the unorganized free-for-alls that people make to pass as attempts sometimes- and I'm talking level 80, level 90 players. Any world for well thought out, generally SUCCESSFUL attempts?

I'd actually suggest buying an earth staff- Curse requires 2 water, and 3 earth, so the earth staff is more cost effective.

Essential information- I'm P2P, and my stats are as follows: Attack: 40 Strength: 36 Defence: 35 Ranged: 10 Prayer: 24 Magic: 24 Runecrafting: 20 Construction: 5 (ouch...) Agility: 25 Herblore: 5 (see construction) Theiving: 13 Crafting: 35 Fletching: 35 Slayer: 8 Mining: 48 Smithing: 40 Fishing: 37 Cooking: 40 Firemaking: 32 Woodcutting: 47 Farming: 1 (super ouch...) Also essential, and quite depressing, I only have 21,289 gold in the bank. I can't think of any decent ways to make money- either my stats are too low, or I don't have enough money to invest. While leveling my stats is a goal I have in mind, the best ways to do this require more money or better equipment than I have, and the other ways require inordinate amounts of time. Is there much I could do? Or should I just take it slow?

You can always pick up the majority of the arrows.
