  1. Than it would be just like this forum now. maybe like top 20 or somthing lik that, so there won't be any so called pros... So there won't be any "pros"? I thought that was the idea, to gather all the "pros" in one forum. I'm lost... :? // Azvi. Well, expanding it to 20 would be alright, I bet there would be 20 worth the title. The thing is, this 'guild' would offer more advice to professional artists then the depressing comments "I do not like green, therefore i'll give you a 6/10". I'm just afriad that it would not work the way intended. Lets just stop posting here, i see firestor is already regretting that he ever posted this :D
  2. They taste almost the same lol :P Mountain dew>pepsi/coke :D ps: nice, creative sig. Dr.Pepper dude :D anway Naril chek your box. want 1 more render. Amen. Dr.Pepper>Coke>Sprite>7Up>Fanta Mountain Dew and Pepsi are way too sweet :D
  3. I'll try to, however, this will be my GCSE year, so i cannot promise full activity, i will try, however. avatar?
  4. Thanks mates, both Royal and Nad. I'll try to be more active.
  5. Seems to me like the most people really wanting one, are as matter of fact people that would not be the most secure joiners. Maybe, they should create a newstarter guild, where everyone should try to help each other? Or am i just being mean :?:
  6. I think it would be better a bit bigger, I just don't really like such small sigs. Besides that, I like it, 7/10. Atleast a width of 300 pixels. I find it ok. Just a bit boring... :?
  7. So, you didnt like my sig? Please tell me if there is anything I could improve so you might like it?
  8. You must be kidding. I white work of art called "a light winter night" is what I reffer to as being the joke of modern art, and this is no better. You should atleast have added something, simplisism is not about emptyness, even emptyness needs to have a location. Skills 0.3/10 (boarder, right size) Idea 0.6/10 (trying to be funny?) Colours 0/10 (non-existent) ...
  9. I doubt that. Nice sig collection, and good luck with your shop ;). I'm sure you'll do good. Actually, this is not a shop It is a gallery, galleries are pretty much meant to show art, but artists have to live on somethings, that is where the selling comes along. Thanks for the comments, I also really like nr 8 :)
  10. Ok, since probably a whole lot of you wont know me, I used to be a pretty active memeber of "Scapeboard", as it was called before the database was stolen. At that time, landscapes and abstract renders were a pretty big thing, and animations were also a trend. I've been doing graphics for about 1 and a half year now, and I now mostly concentrate on photomanipulation. If you want to check my Dev page please go to http://timetopiekka.deviantart.com/ . I thought I'll make a small 'show-off' Gallery where I can show some previous, and new work, just so you'll get an idea of the quality of work I nowdays do. I'll also do this as an introduction, for those people who don't know who the H**L I am. Remember, all the pictures used were either self taken pictures or stock images 1. This is (i think) the most successful sig I've done. And probably also the most time consuming. I worked on a 1400x586 canvas, and then resized it to sig size. Altogether I used about 5h of time perfecting everything. It is done about half an year ago. 2. This is done at about the same time as "1." and is also one of the alltime favs. It was done on a large canvas size and it took about 2h. 3. This is kind of different, because I used around 10 different pictures mixed for the whole sig. It was also done about half an year ago. Took around 1.5h and was done a relatively large canvas (around 800x???) 4. I tried to make something that really looks like ice. I used the different flower brushes which are included with photoshop cs, and just overlayed the picture with that. Took around 1h and I did it in the normal size. 5. Ok, i wanted to try something totally different. And this is one of my new sigs. I don't really know, if i like it or not. I'll let you decide. 6. * Just to show you I also know how to do abstracts, I did this today morning. Took about 2h. Used a Bryce render as a base. 7. * I did this yesterday. I like playing around with colours, so I only used red and green. 8. * This is one of those cold sigs. It is kinda wierd IMO. You might like it. 9. This is a bit older than the others, a sig, i think is one of the best I've ever made. 10. A landscape sig I did long ago... 11. A tech sig with a 3D render I did with the help of a tutorial. 12. A try at design, and methods to get different parts to show. Sigs marked with a * underneath are for sale. Pm me or reply to discuss of prices. Please comments as much as you like. Alll c/c is really useful.
  11. Well, I really don't find much wrong in this piece technically. However, I do think that a 'flatter' and smaller font should have been used. The bg itself is not too inspiring, and a bit dull. But, sometimes that effect can work well. No further comments.
  12. Well, if you are going to create such an guild, there would have to be tryouts, since, at this point practically any person can say, "I'll join". There would have to be atleast 2-5 art submissions for the tryout, just to see if there lies some skill in the graphics done. There would have to be a pre-elected board with people accepting or declining new members. However, there is a very large possibility that people will simply be too lame, and not acitve enough, causing the whole guild to 'break apart'. I personally would like this idea, but I hang with the same question as Azv. If, there was, as a matter of fact people who create really impressive art, and gain the most possible learning points from it (through the people in the guild), it sounds like a great idea. Just my brainstorm :?
  13. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/4988291/ Here is the background. Not an very inspiring background to work with, but it can look nice if you do loads of editing, mixing, etc. etc. If you want a detailed explanation i can take out the photoshop file and explain how I changed the look.
  14. Link for guy. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/4200976/ Deviant is under system maintainance, so I could not find the other picture. If you really want to see that I am not stealing other peoples pictures, I'll search out the link for you guys.
  15. Pretty easy milion then for a premade pic... Well done :) BTW: were those stock images ? I never use anything except stock images. You can count on that. If you are worried, please contact me and I'll search for the links. I'll probably post them soon here anyway so you can see its just not taking 2 pictures and cropping out the other. I was going for a more 'evil' look, as you can probably see
  16. Please inform me if you want any changes
  17. Well, I remember when there were only 1 or 2 persons doing pixel sigs, they were sickingly awsome. I haven't really been active on these boards lately, but I see that pixels have been the trend nowdays. I have nothing against trends, but please try something of your own. I have pretty much had the same style, with a few jumps here and there. I've always tried new things, but, I MUST recommend that the first thing you dont start with is pixels. You wont learn a thing doing pixels, other than some isomeric principles(?).
  18. I would LOVE to see the full canvas. The text in the signature could be a lot better....
  19. Most of the old-schoolers were remembered, but not me. Maybe I didnt make that large an impression, but I was there most of the time. Now, I might aswell say that I am coming back, so hope you all are ready. I'm working on a pretty new style, which might shake most people that simply don't understand the art of creation. I'll be showing a few sigs as soon as i get them finished, to create an sort of 'gallery' :D Plus, one of the greatest sig makers alive are probably Huang, Azv, Tttia, Froth, Witty and Keiphus :D
  20. It's interesting :D An very unique style. Try to keep it
  21. Well, you know [garden tool] critical i am. I'd say really nice work 8.7/10 from me. Just add an incy vincy bit more detail, and change the font. It also looks to me as if there was some sort of gray transparent layer on the image, which kinda annoys me, but that is just a matter of taste. PS. Long time no see, still in finland on my vacation. When i come back i'll try to be active on these boards.
  22. Ok, :( Well, good for the judges anyway. 8)
  23. Neither can anyone make anything out of your sig. It's called a abstract. FOOL I really like the colours and the cartoonish feel to it. :D GJ
  24. Seems like a thing i could take a shot at... but 1600*1200 :D whoa
