  1. Right now I am 4 skills shy of maxing. 83 Hunter, 89 Agility, 92 RC, and 93 Theiving. So the reason why I am asking for advice is because I have been away from RS over a year now and I am none to sure of all the changes. Here is what I plan on doing: Hunter: the Jankos or whatever things Agility: Advanced Barb Course. RC: Runespan Theiving: PP So are those still good methods? Also I have heard something about Ports and that being 90+ RC I can get some RC robes that give extra exp, would those things be worth the time and effort to even get or would I be better off just doing Runespan. I also would like opinions on what skill I should use exp lamps on. I used to just use them on RC but I have heard that Runespan is such fast exp that you really do not even need to worry about it anymore. One last thing as well, any of those fancy daily activity things that give exp toward those 4 skills? One of my friends had told me about a mole or something to get some good Hunter exp.
  2. To reiderate what others have said: Being active in a community is a great way to draw people toward you. I remember years ago when I used to make RS videos on Youtube. I never went around asking people "Hey look at my videos" or anything. I just would post comments on other people's videos and make new and interesting videos. Granted it was pretty easy years ago when there was rarely anything RS related on it. So making quest walkthroughs, DIY, and RS animations I was able to draw a strong following.
  3. That is correct, I remember there being a big push for Jagex to give an answer about this issue. Last word on it was that it was indeed allowed so long as one press = one click. This was a few years ago but I doubt their stance would change since it is not macroing in the sense of walk away all day. You are after all still there pressing one button instead of clicking a mouse.
  4. The Smithing Table under adamant says that the level needed to make an Adamant plate is "86" when in fact the level required is "88". Here is the link to the page in question: http://www.tip.it/runescape/tables/smithing/adamant Credit for the find belongs to: Ruin Goddess. I have confimed the level requirment being in fact 88.
  5. Hello everyone, Rather sure most people won't reconize me but of course I was more of a behind a scenes person here, updating guides and adding items to the database as a Crew Member. But anyway. I have been muckin around RS since 2005 and the game has certainly changed a lot in that span between then and now. I have seen a lot of things and made many accomplishments. It has been over a year now since I have played RS to any real extent, outside of logging in every so often to chat with the few remaining friends I have that still play. The reason I had quit a year ago was because I simply lost the drive to play, I no longer had any goals to shoot for or well ones that I would enjoy doing. Kinda funny in a way for me to return after all this time but I suppose I do have unfinished buisness that I would like to do before I run out of things to do. I would like to finish maxing out the last 4 skills I have: Hunter, RC, Agility, and Theiving. But who knows after I do accomplish all that I may just stick around. Right now I am still trying to figure things out, this new combat system has got me rather lost, I was unable to finish the tutorial... But who knows I could end up liking it and the various other changes jagex has done to which I am still yet made aware of.
  6. That honestly does sound like bug abuse and since it could be (A chance is a chance) I do not feel within good conscience to add that to our guide. But I do appreciate that you wanted to go and help improve the site :) Keep it up and feel free to submit more things as you see them.
  7. Hello, nibs! Welcome to the Tip.it forums! Thank you for taking the time to try and help improve the site. As Sy, already mentioned our guide does go into detail on how to get 100% completion. In the Tips and Trick section. Thanks again Nibs for trying to help improve the site! Feel free to post again if you see anything that is wrong, missing, or can be added.
  8. Sorry for the delay. Is it possible that the rest of the map did not load because you just did not get close enough to that area? Or did you actually walk up to the edge of the map? With regards to the teletab: Not to insult you or anything but arn't those teletabs in your inventory?

  10. Personally I don't think they should be muting anyone during a war period, even if the person(s) is using an auto typer. As mentioned it really is against the spirit of a war. Back in 2006-7 when I was into warring, I can't really say I saw that it was a giant problem but yes, it did occur even back then and it looks like Jagex's stance towards that has remained the same (NOT TO DO IT). I personally have never muted someone during a clan war. Yes it did occur to me at times that it would improve my clan's odds of pulling out a win but, if a clan really has to rely on such a cowardly method to win then I can't think of how such a clan would be worth being in.
  11. Yep, I remember you :P Been awhile lol.
  12. Sorry for the delay, I have been a bit busy with real life. I have made the changes in the guide and you have been credited. Thanks for helping to improve the site.
  13. Thank you Sorator! I will go ahead and read through and check your findings and see what needs to be added/changed to the site. I am currently a bit busy with real life atm so I will not be able to add them to the site right away but don't worry I will get back to you and add the needed changes :) Thanks again for taking the time to help the site out, I know the feeling with getting caught up in a things (especially editing this site) you find one thing wrong then you noticed a bunch of other little things. :)
  14. Thank you, Just ne pker Wow, I actually was unaware that there had been (another) Mining ore graphics update! I will see too it that the pictures are updated. :) (in a few days) I am currently having some personal issues that is limiting my time I can update the site, but don't worry it will be done and you will be credited :)
  15. If you are gonna be using tons of pictures then I would say using the hide code a good idea, but it does not reduce the page load time. It does prevents the page from stretching.
  16. Hello Arkaios, I do see where a person could get confused with our current instructions. I have edited the guide with the more precise directions and you have been credited, Thanks for helping improve the site :)
  17. Hello Pumpkin Thank you for taking the time to help give back to the site :) I will go ahead and update our guide. I have credited you and the change will go live shortly.
