2 scary moments for me. One was when i was doing a lvl 3 clue, my first, and i got a zammy mage. I thought i was prepared but i got poisoned and he was harder than i expected. He was hitting me faster than i could eat but luckily I ROLed. Would have lost drag boots, platelegs and granite platebody, and that was worth (with the other stuff) like 3 mill at that time, which was then like most of my money. Second one was pretty recent, went to kill a few green drags but forgot anti-drag shield! Luckily, as it was my first time in a while and it was chaos tunnels I'd had the sense to bring a tele crystal. Got hit for about 50 and took me down to like 20hp, but I was quick on my tele and got to the safety of Lleyta unharmed. Would have lost at least 5mill if i had gone down.

mine is the classic memory, mining rune ess to buy full rune, woul'd have been early 06' I think. I remember i managed to get 40kgp for 1k of ess, that made me happy :) I also remember getting the 05' haloween reward of a zombie head. It was my first holiday event and is my earliest true memory of runescape.

I don't think that this would involve giving people esscene and laws, the trade limit makes this impractical, and it would be difficult to get crafters. I am merely suggesting a service for people to use to craft laws from pure esccene.

Not so long ago, as i'm sure many here will remember, there existed fast free laws. This was a service whereby people would turn up with rune esscene to the law altar on Entrana, and they would be given an assist by a runecrafter wearing zamorak robes. The crafter got good xp, and the runner got law runes, either to sell or keep. It was a great service to the RS community, and a good example of how lower and higher leveled players could work together. However, at 12:00 today, I turned up to both w66 and w99, and the altars were deserted, except for 1 or 2 solitary crafters. Perhaps i just turned up at the wrong time, but if FFL is dead i want to do something about it. Please post here if you support this, and/or would act as a crafter or use the service if FFL came back.

the ge is definitely a huge help but the author failed to deal with the real problems of the ge, mainly price floors, ceilings, quantity limits and price manipulation. An example of this is the dfs, varying wildy from week to week, obviously due to manipulation. God swords and gold bars, stuck on ridculous price floors, making gold bars very difficult to sell and godswords ridiculously expensive. Buying quantity limits are annoying and serve no real purpose.

it always amazes me how few players realise the merits of the blast furnace, good guide. (9/10 because i was already aware of the method) I also think its worth mentioning that fletching the bolts is good xp and can help the mith bolts to sell for up to 100. 188gp per bar is a very conservative estimate of profit for that reason!

i was reffering to the fact that shadow spiders drain half your prayer, thus making trips less efficient (more prayer pot).

good guide, 8.5/10 Whats your tactic for dealing with shadow spiders? do you just run and hope they don't take too much prayer? also, have you considered using the other green dragon room? a bit further away but dosn't have any shadow spiders. Do you use a house altar to recharge your prayer when you go? Also, have you considered taking a holy wrench to make the prayer pot last a little longer?
