I still will say my production skills are [cabbage] but meh, I respect your advice and that you aren't the generic [wagon] that runs into my threads with the intention of crashing it.

NEW F-That Soulja Boy and TireRack Terry[Hip Hop Songs] NEW
-.- Hm.. idk. I'm too tired at to listen to the lyrics. So all in all i have to say: Make yourself some beats and stuff. It's not too hard. About the rapping: Sounds a bit unauthentic. To me it seems that you haven't found your true musical self yet. Nevertheless it's very cool that you do what you do. Making beats=HARD, very nice proffessional beats that is I'll keep rhyming for free til I'm found by a record label I guess :\ :-k I never compared myself to gangster rappers :S I said most people will say it isn't me and that it's a black dude lol Unless you saw my influences and I have reasons for those who I mention. I don't see how I sound unauthentic tho...like, you mean I don't put that "heart" into it? I figured I did on other tracks besides F*** Soulja Boy oh well, everyone has their own opinion, I won't crucify you for it ^_^

The SoundScan Showdown is OVER!!! THE WINNER: KANYE WEST!!!!
Kenny's gonna own em both, think about it man, the rednecks populate faster then anyone else(maybe not the asians but meh) thus Kenny will be number one on the charts, 50 second and kanye 3rd Do I want it this way? No, I'd rather Kanye be ontop of 50 whether in the 1st or second position but I've listened to Can't Tell Me Nothing quite a few times and I still don't get why people like that track over Stronger :\

NEW F-That Soulja Boy and TireRack Terry[Hip Hop Songs] NEW
My latest track on my myspace, just a diss track towards Soulja Boy on his own beat, not one of my better ones but I still like it. Parental advisory is warned but there really isnt any cursing besides when I say F*** Soulja Boy in the beginning...and if you count Hoe, F**got and the word rape cursing then well, that's about it. UPDATE NEW SONG! TireRack Terry, new song no clue why me and my boy named it that but it's whatever, a random name you know. Basically it's a club beat, sick wordplay on my part and contains some sexual conotations so be warned, it's posted on my myspace! http://www.myspace.com/bigcfrom985 Have a good listen and check my other songs out too Soundclick link if myspace isn't your forte: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/songInf ... ID=5757336 Now, the video isn't a real "video" but it's an interview with myself of why I made it and the song included WARNING:VULGAR IMAGE INSIDE(me flipping the bird at soulja boy and of course, the curse words) http://youtube.com/watch?v=jlnMBi8vKpQ

rap, yay or nay?
baby mad cause a kid 4 years older then him shed some light on the ignorant git? Stupid 12 year olds

rap, yay or nay?
You're SUCH an IGNORANT little git really. I like some Commercial/Mainstream rap and will even defend it which I'm coming to do with this post and completely booty rape your arguement. Racism in rap? Are you one of those idiotic haters of the "N-Word"? See, the "N-Word" doesn't mean to be a slave anymore, times changed and obviously you're not older then 12-14 to understand that the definition changed a long time ago when the -er ending was replaced with an -a ending to make it mean a black person's friend. Just how white people use the word "dude" moreso then black people as white people use the word "Nigga" then black people. Where you came up with the relation to being racist towards white people, you're completely off-point on the usage of the word "white" in any mainstream rap. The word "white" is most commonly referring to crack cocaine and specifically the song White Girl by USDA is a clever metaphor and one of Jeezy's finer songs in my opinion. Next comes the issue of even degrading women. I haven't read but your first few BS posts so I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet but do you think there's no such thing as a woman who has sex for money? They exist, how our generation uses the word is completely different then a rapper's meaning. An emcee will use "Hoe" and "Bitch" when referring to specifically that type of woman. Hopefully this explains it for you. Giving people a headache? Are you dumb? I'm assuming you get the headache from the beat as that's what should be causing the headache otherwise you're using a horrible way to describe the actual emceeing. You obviously wouldn't last at a Mardi Gras parade then, hell even a concert if you can't handle a beat or loud noise. If you're addressing the lyrics then grow up and realize that music is developed for those who can feel it. Just because all of your white preps are bumping the commercial gangster BS doesn't make the song horrible. Just because someone makes money doesn't make a horrible song. I'm sure if you owned some expensive cars(legitly made, I frown on Ringtone Rappers but they're the ones who made it, you didn't, tough [cabbage] aye?) you would be bragging about it to all of your friends. And even then, like I said, music is made for certain people which is why they have sub-genres to rap. Which leads to my next point. Like any of genre, Rock for example, you might like Alternative and hate Screamo while someone might like Metal and hate both of the before-mentioned genres. We all have different tastes and there is an existance of Emcees who speak about their everyday life, past experiences, things other then sex, drugs and money- so get off the theory that only mainstream rap exists. YOUR ARGUEMENT BLOWS KID GTFO THE INTERNET If any mod feels that my post will offend the OP and make him/her cry and have a problem with me avoiding the censor then censor my words, don't delete my whole got damn post.

a bay bay remix?
To those who say the game killed it, wtf is wrong with you lol? He just used a bunch of dance song names and didn't even make sense, he then trails off about how people hate the south because they can't sell records? WTF, he goes from riding Dre and Em to riding the south? LOL, what happened to the west coast? Angie, Hurricane, and Jada raped the beat completely, they were way better then Game(mostly Jada)

New Tracks[Hip Hop]

New Tracks[Hip Hop]
I stick to emceeing, I tried producing, I've tried comprehending the idea of making the beat seperate from the sample and it's just like oh...my...[bleep]ing...god....-head explodes- I just use beats off of soundclick and sometimes I use beats from other artists

a bay bay remix?
BABY HAS ALWAYS BEEN GARBAGE plus why is this a topic about 1 song only? Be prepared for the flamers to jump in with insults like, "rap is all garbage anyway", ect..
-
New Tracks[Hip Hop]
yay another topic which will most likely die in the next 2 weeks -_- Anyway, new tracks up on my myspace Tillman ft. MC Gurt, the song is pretty much his project imo he's no where in my league but he's my boy and he does have some talent just he never expands from it, I half assed my verse on that track so really it's not very interesting but apparently it's my best work my friend's tell me but they're mainstream listeners so that figures Second track is Gotta Make Changes, great track has a real nice beat and people who like meaning in their music will love this [cabbage] prolly, atleast I love it but there's some offensive/possibly offensive wordplay in use! My myspace where the tracks are listed: http://www.myspace.com/bigcfrom985

Actually dancing with hip hop music....?
Alright, well I know that today's hip hop is always been sacked because there's no lyrical content and all and I've picked up a few dance songs myself and learned the lyrics but never tried the dances because they looked WAY too hard for me, thus I always hated them and maybe it's the reason why diehard fans of hip hop hate it too, I'm not sure but we all have opinions. So I have hated the Crank That craze which started a few months back when Soulja Boy released his track which if anyone who follows mainstream hip hop knows it's blowin up big just recently due to the video and him getting bigger and all. Well I decided to youtube the dance to see if they had any instructional videos and found the video SB released himself so I checked it out and tried to follow with it. I found myself actually enjoying the song 10 times more because I knew how to dance to song and it wasn't just about lyrical content then...and lately it seems every hit is a dance song, meant for clubs so I pose this question, do you dance to your hip hop tracks that are meant for dancing? Honestly as before mentioned I never have but I'm so addicted to doing it now and I've come to the conclusion that really hip hop should just develop a new subgenre for dance music so people can stop saying that hip hop is being ruined. How I see it is that hip hop wouldn't be represented by dance music anymore to the diehards but it wouldn't stop the simple rhyme schemes of today's gangsta rap either....trailed a bit off the end of my post but, discuss :)

50's threat...
Wouldn't suprise me. they are both rap artists, Kanye is semi-concious rapper, 50 is an industry rapper now...sooner or later alot of emcees will become what 50 has become

50's threat...
From what I've heard 50 cent's only good album was GRODT and then he fell off which I can believe. He stopped giving a [cabbage] about lyrics and Kanye keeps evolving with his lyrics but still any concious rapper could run them over with their lyrics :P 50's money hungry anyway, he's planned to retire in 2008 and is gonna prolly wait like 2-3 years and be like, OMG GUYS I'M BACK BUY MY ALBUM and every white kid who loved 50 is gonna come running back and praise their hero. I predict that Kanye ISN'T going to beat 50 but I'm still rooting for Kanye :D

[HIP HOP]New Songs:Hip Hop and I Heard Wayne Retired
I like to call myself both :) Ya know, like when I was freshman year on our bus my friend Dylan started calling me Big C as a (dirty) joke lol but then I actually started rapping and stuff and put the name to use and originally it was just like Big Corey cause Corey's my first name but then I bought this game called DDR:Supernova(not sure if you know what it is but awesome dancing game) and I unlocked all the songs on the game and they had this one called Chaos and I used to try to freestyle to it(and also proclaim that I do infact cause Chaos on beats) while playing the game on a controller. I looked at it like I'd have a name that could appeal to the public but also capture the attention of the people who I really wanna make music for. Most underground listeners or just concious rap listeners would be like, wow Big C- how original? But if you know where it comes from then they'll be like, this dude's telling the truth....idk, it makes sense to me :P Thanks man I dunno bout lyrics though, I might

[HIP HOP]New Songs:Hip Hop and I Heard Wayne Retired
I layered my voice on the hooks for tension and listen, I didn't do that for the others so that's why and I'm a more lyrical MC rather then the chains and rims and I wasn't forcing my voice to go deeper we recorded those 2 at 2-3 in the morning lol

[HIP HOP]New Songs:Hip Hop and I Heard Wayne Retired
yeeeeah back again with 2 new songs, Hip Hop(tenative title really, no clue what my friend is gonna call it, uses the beat of I Wanna Get To Know You though) and I Heard (Lil) Wayne Retired... both really good songs/good verse but I thought IHWR wasn't that great after I recorded it, meh. Hip Hop is only a verse long...my friend still has to spit on the track also so lemme know what you think or add me on myspace: http://www.myspace.com/bigcfrom985
