Rs2: Blaming Miniclip For All The Evils Of Runescape
goldragon2 replied to meili's topic in General Discussion
Well, I guess I am a miniclipite too as that is where I first learned about RS. But I am a 52 yr old gramma who has brought in about 10-12 other members to our happy group of players. Some stayed and are now at respectable levels, some tried it for a few days and quit. I am glad I found it on miniclip. Otherwise I might never have. Yes, beggars and other immature ppl annoy me. Also those that just type in nonsense over and over while fishing. But the ignore feature was put there for a reason and I do use it. Makes things a lot nicer at times. If everyone would put beggars/annoying ppl on ignore list, they might just be happier too. I do agree with some of the others that say that parents are partly to blame because they do not take the time to monitor what their children are up to. My grand daughter plays RS but she is monitored at all times to make sure she is not being a "noob" and annoying other players. She is 13 and has been playing for about 2 years now. I am one of those that try to help the ones that need help/info and are trying to do things for themselves. Another thing that annoys me are those that think that higher level players "owe" them whole sets of rune armor or other expensive stuff. I am always willing to make new players a set of iron or steel armor or to make someone up to an addy axe so they can cut wood or give them the seeds I thieve I don't use/need but I do not "owe" anyone high level stuff just because I am a high level! OK, I have ranted long enough and have erased another paragraph or 2. lol Don't let the whiners/beggars/immature players ruin a good game for you! Put them on the ignore list! I wish Jagex would make a place to report beggars and mute anyone reported for begging but I know they have their hands full now without adding more stuff to have to review. Thank you, Jagex, for an awsome, fun, game that I love to play! :D -
So you have made more since quest was finished?
-
Ok, I guess I did something wrong then. I went to Entrana and cut several more branches and made staves out of them. Then I went to each of the altars in the right order and used each staff on each altar. Each time it said "nothing interesting happened". Then I went to Lunar Isle and talked to the lady by the altar there. The only options I got were to get back Lunar armor if I had lost it, which I have not. Any other ideas or has anyone actually made another staff after completing the quest? Thank you,
-
You can get the whole blue set from the wizard's guild in Yanille.

 Can anyone tell me how to make another lunar staff? I got stupid and died while carrying mine and would like to have another 1. Does anyone know how to go about getting 1?

Tip.It Times Presents: On Beggars and Begging...
goldragon2 replied to Kiara_Kat's topic in General Discussion
I do agree with this article. It made some very good points. =D> bravo! well done! I am always willing to help those that are trying to help themselves. I have no time or patience for those that are just wanting something for free because it is too much trouble to go get it!. If someone begs from me I try to find something they can do to earn whatever it is they are asking for. But I have had some that I tried to help that got into the mindset that I should give them whatever they wanted cause i was a "friend". This has resulted in their being removed from my friends list. If I have someone starting runescape that I know, I usualy make them a set of iron armor to start with, then give them a break in price when they want to go to better armor as they increase lvls. I am older than most of the players on rs, at least in world 41. My usual retort to a begger is that they should have more pride. I do not have a whip yet as I am unwilling to buy one. I am working on my slayer so I can go get my own. lol which will probably not happen as I rarely get the good drops. and i do agree that not every high lvl player is rich! I know I am not! Oh well, I guess beggers are an aspect of the game we will have to tolerate as there seems to be no way to get rid of them short of stop playing myself! This I am not willing to do! So......... Good luck to all! And i share my hard won patience with all of you! :D -
they have to be loose but he may not ask for axes. you can take crate back to canafis and if you get snail meat also, you can add those on your way to bank. the ghasts will not spoil them after they are in crate.

I suggest you raise your strength to at least 5 or use a poisoned weapon if possible. otherwise you will have to rely on pots to complete this or any other assignment in slayer. also, are you sure you are killing the right thing? you might think it is a stupid question but I was asked to come rescue someone from a beast that wouldn't die. His assignment was cave bugs and he was hitting cave slugs instead! you have to have salt to kill those or they won't die.
-
and any member stuff you have in bank becomes inaccessible. I suggest you move all member stuff to bottom of bank. I have been told you can only access stuff in the 1st 7 rows + the 1st 4 items in the next row when you go back to f2p from p2p.

also, by killing water elementals in the workshop, you get all the vials you need already filled with water. the elementals drop herbs and runes as well as other stuff but every water elem will drop a vial as well as something else. My herblore is 64 and i usually put the herbs in vial as soon as i get them. then all i have to do is add the secondary ingredient to finish when i have time.

bump

Ya but you get tired of them after the 3rd time in a row! Increasing amounts of them too. Had 86, 144 and 189 the last time! lol changed the last set.
-
But you can change an assignment of kalphites! Cause I did it! lol Got goblins and then cave horrors! Anyone know where to find a map of that dungeon?
