In a strange sense of irony some1 scratched my car today in the car park :(

My iPod is a little bit scratched and scraped. Its ferfectly natural wear and tear. My car has a few scratches in it but im not about to sue Peugeot for making shoddy cars.

While I don't consider myself a "fan" (I happen thats really lame to be a fan of someone online purely because they are good with paint) I do consider Daan a friend of mine and respect him far more than TJ.

Cars can be replaced, people cannot. Be lucky that you are all ok, alive and safe. Ive been in a few bumps and scrapes but never in a proper wreckage.

After investigation of that site it apears it tries to get you to download an exe file. This should also send alarm bells ringing. This virus is so obvious i dont understand how someone with up to date Windows and Anti-virus can be fooled. The site also appears to be run by a spammer who is probably more interested in your surfing habits to serve spyware than infect your computer with an irrepeairable virus. Up to date Anti virus software should also be able to remove it easily, it is only a variant of an already existing virus. It drops a file called "svshost" into a hidden directory in the system32 folder and blocks the task manager and regedit which is what scares people. Of course theres more than one way into the registry to you can clean it in safe mode or with HJT

About having to reinstall windows to fix. You cant really take this as being the only solution to fix. People panic when they get a virus and something goes horribly wrong and novice users dont really know what to do so they reformat. Ive had to try and fix computers absolutely riddled with crap in the past and have always managed to clean up without the need for reinstalling windows. MSN virus are spread because people click links and accept files from their friends regardless of how suspect it looks. Always make sure to check with your friend that he/she is meaning to send you something.

Mmm maybe, I guess it depends on the band. Most mainstream artists are controlled by the record companies so you might get one or two good songs on a 12 track record. The bands I am in to are of much better quality and you really need to get the whole album. It tells a story, its a window into the mind of the lyricist.

It doesnt look as good as the "sampled" version. You seem to have changed the contrast making it less coloured and dull. But its already been rated in another post i see no reason to write another.

Yes I do buy songs from iTunes... but not much. I'll get the occassioanal "Song of the Week" for free and Charity Singles but when it comes to albums its really not that much cheaper than from some online stores and when you buy a CD you actually physically get something for your money rather than virtual music

We leave windows and doors open while in the house, i usually leave the door open if i run to get something from the shops too but we always lock all doors and windows when we leave the house and lock doors at night
