Ebaums world is sick. they dhow animals being tortured and stuff. i despise that site that shoves anyhting and everyhitng on there just to get hits. As for the "techno" its by Aphex Twin, a band renound for its music being nuse in dark film shorts and animation. David Firth uses a lot of their music in Salad Fingers for example. Ive seen some of Chris Cunninghams other work and I really hope that someone commissions him to make a full length film in the forseable future. Maybe the film is beyond most of the people on this forum, too young to understand whats going on and are only seeing it as a "scary movie". My advice is to buy the DVD and read the book and commentary that comes with it. Its very important.

Its not meant to be some "scary" video. Its been made by the same person who did the special effects for Alien3, Alien Ressurection and AI. It has some real deep meaning into humanity. Its a proper short film released earlier this year directed by Chris Cunningham. The point is to show another dark side to humanity not only the way that his parents keep this child locked away but also by seeing how much its been seen around the world so many people looking at it but caring not for the poor person in the video in a voyeur effect. Its not meant to be scary its meant to us to think about our own humanity. I don't think anyone here is seeing the true meaning of the piece

TFT or CRT? If its a CRT it could simply be static or magnetic interferance. Try and degauss the monitor.

iPods now all come with colour screens and you can use them to store album art and photographs now. You can easily fill 20GB up. I use 12 so far on my monocrome one.

The higher quality the mp3 the less songs you can fit on. Likewise the length of the song is important too. A Mogwai CD is likely to take up much more space than a Busted album for example. A 20GB iPod will take an average of 5000 songs at a normal quality bitrate.

I guess sicken is a bit stong yeah, but he was an incredibly selfish person thinking only of himself. What about all the pain his family must be going throught right now? And all because of a game that some people in the world could never even dream of being able to afford.

Mmmm what a sad scenario. I feel really bad for the "scammer" more than the person who took their life. Guild Wars is only a game, its not even that great imo, and yet this person felt that because of his own stupidity in getting scammed several times he felt he needed to take his own life. This person obviously had some serious mental issues long before Guild Wars. People that kill themselves over a game sicken me. There is so much real suffering and pain going on in the world and yet this person thinks that losing a few items in an online game warrents taking his own life. He was a fool for getting scammed and a fool for committing suicide. As I said before I feel really sad for the actual scammer in this case. He was playing the game his own way by sneakily gaining a few items at someone elses expense and because of the selfishness of the other person he now has to live with the face that his actions led to someones death. Its a horrible thought and this poor scammer has to life with people telling him he killed someone. :( He was an incredibly selfish person having no regard for anyone else including his family. Because those are the ones that will hurt the most knowing their son killed himself so tragicly over a game they probably bought for his birthday. The victims in all this are his family, the online friends and the scammer and most certainly not the person who took their live.
