I wanted a pair of the 8m boots and not these 22m boots... I'm always so unlucky :( Anyway, the good news are that I finally managed to get 100 shards. It's been over half a year since I got my first shards :P And here's the end result :D I might kill more glacors in the future if I want to get glaiven boots or if Jagex makes storm of armadyl useful again. I also have almost 21m magic xp now, and it's mostly from glacors and the Saradomin boss.- The Runar's DIY blog — OSRS ultimate ironman

Runescape has been quite boring for me lately :/ I think I'll try getting an armadyl battlestaff though, I have 80 shards now. I wonder if I can get glaivens before the staff... I also got a letter from the University of Tampere today saying that I'm accepted to study computer science :D The school begins in September, so I hope I can find an apartment before that because I live about 100km (60 miles) away.- The Runar's DIY blog — OSRS ultimate ironman

I got this loot from 24 crystal keys: 5 crimson charms, 5 blue charms 150 coal 2 grimy torstols loop half of a key 3 uncut rubies, 3 uncut diamonds rune platelegs 2 lantadyme seeds 3 uncut rubies, 3 uncut diamonds 150 coal 5 crimson charms, 5 blue charms 5 crimson charms, 5 blue charms 5 crimson charms, 5 blue charms calquat tree seed rune platelegs loop half of a key 2 grimy torstols 2 grimy torstols 5 crimson charms, 5 blue charms 5 crimson charms, 5 blue charms 5 crimson charms, 5 blue charms 3 uncut rubies, 3 uncut diamonds 5 crimson charms, 5 blue charms 2 lantadyme seeds papaya tree seed The total value is 850k (and while I didn't notice that, someone said that you get 15k when you get a key part, so you can add 30k to the value). According to both my loot and the 100 key loot on the previous page, it seems like the chance of getting charms is 1/3, and you always get 5 crimsons and 5 blues. 5 crimsons + 5 blues should be about 5-6k summoning xp, which means 1.7-2k summoning xp per key. That means you would need about 7-7.5k keys for 1-99 summoning. You should be able to open at least 500 chests an hour - probably 1k+ if you only care about charms. This is by far the fastest way to get charms now - 15 hours maximum for enough charms from level 1 to level 99 (not counting the golds and greens you need to get through the early levels of course). I have a feeling that either the keys will be extremely expensive (I'd say 75k+) or Jagex will nerf this soon.- The Runar's DIY blog — OSRS ultimate ironman

I tried the new dungeon. Got a keystone on the second kill, entered the boss room and died in 5 seconds. I don't think I'm going to get these new crossbows unless they add new monsters where you actually need them. It looks like getting just one crossbow will take forever, and you need both of them because just one is useless (unless you use mainhand + shield).
