Gnome amulet? If you mean the one from Tree Gnome Village, it just gives +13 to all melee defence bonuses. It has nothing to do with farming.

I played Runespan for like 10 hours today :blink: Gained 767k rc xp (+20k slayer xp from SoF lamps). 100k xp to level 90 and greater runic staff :) I'm thinking of getting 99 runecrafting before combat beta (hopefully I'll get chosen!), but I'm not sure... it would require about 4-5 hours of spanning daily. Also my summer vacation started today :)

No, but it's by far the easiest way. You can try killing GWD bosses or get 80+ slayer and kill mutated jadinkos if you want though...

Yes, it is. When you wear it, all the xp you gain will be doubled. It works until you've gained 250k xp (500k including the boost).

68 summoning and 99 combat! :thumbsup: 61-68 summoning took about 780k gp and 575 green charms (ibises), 150 crimsons (spirit cobras) and 100 blues (mithril minotaurs) using the mad necklace.

At this speed I should be able to get 99 runecrafting in under 2 weeks :thumbsup:

Hehe, congrats on wizard boots :D I've always done all clues on my main too but only one 1m+ clue in five years (flared trousers from a very short level 1). This account has crazy luck...

Runecrafting is now much faster (100k+/hr at high levels) and AFKable. Firemaking is now AFKable too. You can teleport almost anywhere without law runes with lodestones. New boss (queen black dragon) was released two days ago. Dragon kiteshield, new dragonhide (royal, level 80 range), new crossbow. Polypore staff, cheap but effective staff which has a special spell that doesn't require runes. 80 magic required Most armor was graphically updated.

I was at Runespan for over six hours today, got 540k xp :blink: Going to get at least 88 tomorrow, maybe 89 (probably not if I'll train summoning too)...

That's a good question. Well, basically not but it's more fun with more people, and the exp boost isn't that much anyway. And GE is one of the few places where you can actually light fires right next to a bank. Also in the Runespan you get more essence when there are more people siphoning the same esscreature, but that's almost unavoidable.

I decided to go back to the Runespan for now. Going to get 68 summoning tomorrow with the Mad May bonus however :)

Yes, but im also counting on the money and not losing money but now sense my fishing is 81 lobsters are going by so much quicker not im getting 35k an hour now thanks thowe i did Barb fishing from 40 to 76 and it went by quick. If you're P2P at least do Monkfish and then Rocktail, Lobsters are akin to self-flagellation. Yea, but dont you have to do a major quest to access were monkfish are at? The "Swan Song" quest should not take you any more than 2 hours (that is if you are very slow at using a quest guide). The time it takes you to do the quest will be negated by how much more experience per hour you will achieve. Also, Monkfish should give you a larger profit, so you win no matter what. Yes but the problem im having is that The "Swan Song" Quest requires 101 quest points and be able to defeat a lvl 180 queen dragon Then do barbarian (or maybe c2 in dungeoneering) fishing until 90 and then rocktails to 99. It's still better money and much faster than lobsters.

Firemaking is ridiculously easy to train with bonfires :/ But I'm not complaining :D
