RuneScape Information

  1. I just don't understand why the rewards are so out of sync price from the required levels. It's impossible to have enough tokens to buy a reward at the level it says you can use it at. What is the point? Why not make the level requirement at a point where you could theoretically purchase the item.
  2. You duel someone with obstacles enabled, usually there is someone who is willing to do it for you. If you need someone add me in game and I'll come help you out.
  3. No that's not right. As they stated monster specific rare items are NOT on the rare drop table that is effected by the ring of wealth. That means the maroon colored sections of your rare drop should actually be a very thin section on the main wheel. And drops with charms are not part of that wheel at all. Charm drops are completely seperate, so everytime you make a kill one wheel spins to determine the charm drop (which color or if you get a drop at all) and another wheel spins to determine the drop, these wheels have no effect on each other. If your item drop (non charm) wheel lands on the 'rare' then it goes to the second wheel which contains rare items shared by almost all monsters (gems, key halves, d spears) if it goes to this rare drop wheel then it is already determined the drop will NOT be something like a whip or brine saber (as your two examples in the picture.)
  4. She needs to give you the task. I had gargoyles from lapalok and couldn't kill em in the dungeon.
  5. Thinking about it more they should make the f2p world only recognise f2p skills so ex members won't have an advantage.
  6. That's not true. There are way more low level players with 1K total than there are players with exp higher than 20M, or even 25M. In other words, I agree with you about the purpose of these worlds, but not the absurd requirement that makes next to no sense. You may be right in it being an "absurd" requirement for f2p but it's woefully inadequate in p2p. I wouldn't be opposed to a total exp requirement but not if it leads to people with 20 mil exp in one skill and lvl 1 everything else. I think these worlds should be for more well rounded players (not necessarily combat, skillers are fine.)
  7. I don't think it's high enough myself. The point is to get rid of the immature player, basically they want the people who have been playing a long time to have a place to go. I love the idea of these worlds, ideally they mean a place where we don't have low lvl people annoying the high level people. A place where nobody is complaining about not having access to things above their level. By complaining about not having access you validate the reason for their existence.
  8. If you start thinking of quitting when you lose some gp you should probably just quit. Obviously you have some priority problems, it's a game. You shouldn't have been risking it if you couldn't play the game after losing it. If I lost everything in my bank I wouldn't be happy but I also wouldn't get on the tip.it forums and ask everyone if I should quit the game. I would probably just try and work my way back up. If you had it then you have the means to get it again, be it monster hunting or skilling.
  9. only 113 days 1 hour for me I thought it would be much more than that considering I started playing the week rs2 came out.
  10. It's a combination of things causing the problem. PVP artifacts giving large cash influxes are a big source of inflation. GE caps create the problem where you can't pay enough coins to buy things. The objects are worth more (or sometimes less) then the system lets you pay. I don't see the need for caps, they don't stop real world trading the GE is anonymous you can't choose who you buy or sell to. Why can't you set a price and when someone offers that price or more it sells to them for the price you put. Getting rid of caps would mean that we could pay what the price should be, it won't fix the inflation but I would imagine it would make everything more stable.
  11. The cost of melee is food. For range you are paying for the ability to attack from a distance. I'm a ranger (99) and I think unlimited ammo would be stupid. By your logic an ancient staff that provided all the necesary runes wouldn't be overpowered.
  12. As cool as it would be to have updated quests like that, I would be pretty unhappy about it until they let us replay quests.
  13. I feel bad for people that need to justify their own immaturity by saying they have autism. Autism wouldn't cause somebody to act like an idiot. Whether they have autism or not it's no excuse to act stupid, I know a couple people with autism (high functioning) and though they have trouble acting "correctly" in social situations their online interaction is almost entirely normal. They also would never act like an idiot and say "it's OK I have autism." I havn't seen this kind of response on runescape but they deserve criticism whether they are telling the truth or not. If they do have autism wouldn't you think they would want to increase acceptance of their disease instead of pissing people off? Every autistic person I know works hard to act socially acceptable and if they do something wrong and you tell them flat out they will work on fixing that, they won't say "I have autism" and continue with the inappropriate behaviour.
  14. theres a lotta drugs that do that, name cocain and acid but yeah. think about mario, guy eats a mushroom and doubles in size? thats his overload pot lol LK1 Actually the drug he was thinking of was PCP sometimes known as Angel Dust. Cocaine and Acid don't do that at all. Mario's mushrooms seem to be based on psilosybin mushrooms mixed with pcp. And the overload pot would be better correlated to the super star in the mario world, temporary effects that make you super strong and hard to kill.
  15. Worst did you know ever. It had nothing to do with the game.
