Finally Jagex releases a enjoyable minigame that has decent rewards, is challenging even for high levels, and requires complete cooperation between players. It's been a long time since I enjoyed this game so much. Being a healer on the 10th stage is intense, nonstop healing, run to spring, heal, dip eggs in poison, run to spring, heal, give eggs to attacker... I guess i'm lucky I found a good team.

I have around 20k tar left over from when shade killing was good money, the chest's often give around 40 along with an item.

Its not new, I killed around 50 with this method until I found out that whip hits him better.

Has anyone checked to see if the kbd heads in POHs' have changed? It would be kinda weird if they still look like the old kbd.

I've never gotten super sets, but I did get 20+ super restores a long time ago.

I don't believe in any "bull", I was simply responding to the topic creators theory on how things might affect the drops from monsters. It's not bull that alot of times monsters dropped rare items on the first kill, It's fact, weather it be from luck or some other factor.

Heh, I used to think the time of day and the world effects the drops, and I still sorta do. I'd be killing good dropping monsters (fire giants, black demons, etc) for hours getting nothing but junk, then I'd switch worlds and I'd start getting much better drops within a few kills. Another oddity is how I often get a rare drop on my first kill of the day, for example, I went to the kbd and first drop was a med, the next day, the first drop is kbd heads, or right when I switch worlds at abbys, the first abby killed on that world drops a whip, which has happened multiple times. Might just all be coincidence...

Rune defender has same strength bonus as obby shield, PLUS +20 attack, with just a little less defense. Once I got my defender I sold my obby shield asap. If you want high ranged defense, get a crystal shield not an obby...

Whenever I use hypercam, runescape freezes until I close hypercam. I have also tried camtasia and unlike hypercam it works, but it is super laggy, and if I tried to record me killing kq or pking, I would undoubtly get owned. What can I do to make this run more smoothly? I am running on windows xp, with dsl that is decently fast, however it is wireless, could that have anything to do with it?

What in the world are you talking about? The dragon uses breath, magic AND melee and that armour stinks. Defence is more important than prayer bonus while fighting that dragon. No, prayer bonus is more important. I take the same amount of damage while wearing black d hide as i do when in initiate. Yet in initiate my prayer lasts longer so I can use inc. reflexes, and therefore hit more often. If you don't beleive me, I could care less, infact I hope you continue to use d hide, so you kill less per trip. I just laugh when so many people believe magic defense affects his breath attacks, because it doesn't. You said: The dragon uses breath, magic AND melee. Ok... you use pro melee, therefore that is not important, no idea why you said that.

I have found that your magic defense bonus doesn't seem to make fire breath hit less often... The blue, green, and white breath are basicly going to hit 90% of the time, while the orange breath will hit 0 everytime as long as you drink an antifire potion. I now take initiate instead of d hide, and use pro melee along with incredible reflexes, and I kill 4-6 per trip.

Blood forfeit is very effective against high level monsters with lots of hp. The emerald bolts special seems to happen very often, but the poision only hits 3s, even though in the kb, jagex said its as good as super poision... Pearl bolt special is hitting 24s on black dragons, so it might be good against other monsters that are fire based. Diamond bolt special, the armour peircing, doesn't seem to happen often enough to be usefull. I've hit a 23 with 99 range with bronze opal bolts, with is pretty ownage considering they are bronze. I haven't tried the others, has anyone tried the jade bolt special yet?

They wouldn't be effective, the special happens like 1/30 shots, not to mention the bow is incredibly slow and innacurate....

The special effects happen a bit too rarely... I'm not sure if this is such a usefull update.

They did un-nerf it this week. You just have to have to have a tag-a-long Lunar mage that can do Energy Transfer for you :wink:. Yeah.. but maybe these will make more good one-handed range methods, maybe even make it possible to range the metal dragons (though I still wouldn't know how to fight them, I don't like those dragons :() uuh crossbow is 2 handed how would u range it ud get toasted by its fire Uhh all crossbows are 1 handed besides the karils crossbow. :roll:

And then... Full time schooling is at least 15 hours a week and then a full time job is 35-40 hours a week. So he WAS spending at least 50 hours a week at work and school. He MUST have been working at night or something and getting barely any sleep or some crazy schedule to be both a full time student and a full time worker. :? Yeah I thought that looked a little bs.

STring amulets is auto- but doesn't do all at once. It just strings all that are in your invo, one big spell at a time. meaning that it is one cast per inventory or one cast per unstrung amulet One cast per amulet...not worth it, 1 ball of wool is much cheaper than 3 astrals

If it gets nerfed, then train your damned stats like everyone else did before pest control was released... pc is not only rediculously fast xp but it also costs nothing.
