Actually if they're using magic attacks then range armor is the best thing to wear. And if you're in range armor why not use ranged attacks rather than melee, eh? Ankous can be ranged (I saw someone doing it in SE corner of that SW room that has Ankous and skeletons) from a safe spot, so it'll work there too. They just cast Weaken to take your strength down by 7% (At least they took my strength down by that, never any more). They actually attack with Melee. Oh and I would Melee them if I were you, I was wearing Full Rune with flat 70's in all of my Melee stats and I used 2 invetories of food, and I still havn't got the left half of the skull from Ankou (Such bad luck, I was at the Catablepon's for well over an hour) :cry:

Lol for me to get to 82 Mage on my account via Fire Strike it would take 200K Strikes, that is 200K Minds and 400K Airs :shock:

Can you auto cast with the Mud Staff? Also how much did yu buy the staff for?

What bonuses does it give? Is it better than an Obby Shield?

I was just in Port Sarim's Magic Shoppe and I realised that Body Runes sell about as well as roadkill, as there is almost always the full stock (5000) in the shop. This got me thinking that a good way to get to 82 Mage would be to cast Curse around 78k times with a Mud Staff, in Full Rune and Dragon Vamb. Before I do this though I am wondering what is the most that the shops will sell Bodies for? (when they are low on stock) and what players sell them for? I am almost certain that whatever the price it will still be much cheaper than High Alching, also can the Mud Staff auto-cast Curse? This would make it much easier... Thank you in advance...

2 Runes ores at 2k each, I went to the bank to get the cash only to have the last one dissapper as I clicked on it :cry: I love getting Uncuts from General Stores, my fav Item to buy from them...

Go to the Chicken Farm near Lumbridge and buy feathers for 3-5gp from the noobies. Re-sell when you get a decent stock of them Oh and I like that Rune Set Merchenting idea...

For melee I have found that you really get one or the other. I would personally do Melee training on something like experiments, and then train ranged on something like Fire Giants or Dusties for the good drops. That is if you want to level quicker anyway...

Waste of time to make either the Necklase, or Combo Runes at all IMO

And what ores I can sell to it? Sorry for the n00by questions, I am just curious...

I like the Postcount, it lets you know who are the more Trusted members of Tip.It For example if I post and ask someone to make me some arrows if I supply the goods. I would rather someone with a higher post count as they have more to lose if they scam me, rather than an account with very few posts, who can just make a new one...

Wow I love the Stronghold for Training!! I have been messing around, training on the Lvl 12 Minotaurs and they are my new favourite traing monster. They drop Iron arrows frequently which is good because I am in desperate need of as many as possible for 70+ Ranged. They never hit me so I don't need food and they Spawn so quickly... I plan on getting 10k Iron arrows from them in the next few days lol

That could work :wink: If I had to chose one or the other I would prefer Dragon, Guthans is Second on the list though. I appoligize for saying that I hate Barrows armour. SOME of them have useful purposes (Guthans, Veracs and I suppose Dharroks :-X ). I just don't think they are practical as an "all round armour" unless you will have a steady, high income to finance the upkeep. Dharroks = :-X
