d3vilbro replied to Biabf's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)

I thought that a large no. of Rune Pures had 52 prayer for Smite?
-
I would say get: 65 Firemaking, more if you want a nice total lvl... 85 Fletching for Mage Longs Sell the leftovers

Are these good future stats for my pure??
d3vilbro replied to themanwitdaplan's topic in Help and Advice
Sweet God, with those stats you would have a Combat level of around 84  So yes, you would pwn, although it will be very hard to get 99 Str with only 1 Def, there will be a limited amount of monsters than you can train on... -
I have heard that the Chances are: Steel: 1/50 Iron: 1/100 Bronze: 1/150 Keep in mind that this is just what I have heard, these figures could be way off...

Personally I think Combat is the best part of the game, aslong as you are over like 1200 at 100 Combat then I say you are fine...

I have tryed like 20+ times over the last few weeks to get my old account back, Jagex seems to hate me :( Besides it is kinda fun to train up my n00b...

I recently got hacked and started a new account. I am now at the point which I have to decide what I am going to do with it. I wil deffinatly be Combat orientated but am stuck between these two options... 1. Become a full on Main account, by this I mean 80 Att, Def and Str with 60+ Prayer and then get members to do normal things (Pest Control, CW, Slayer etc) 2. Become a Rune Pure with 80 Att, 90 Str, 45 Def and 52 Prayer and go P2P Pking. Could some one please go over the advantages and disadvantages of each please? Thank you

MY BLOG (days 1-3)

Wow that is some crazy luck right thur... -
Sounds like a good plan. I would suggest that you use climbing boots instead of rune boots for most of your training since the added strength outweighs the benefits of the rune boots' defense. The zammy book is the second best mage shield (the EXTREMELY expensive mage book being the best), the best range shield, and the second or third best melee shield (rune defender is better and the obby shield is a debatable tie) for offense. If you delay on the granite shield and buy an obby shield the price for it should drop to 400k or less soon. Either way range defense is useless for most of your runescape adventures. If you are torn on whether to get a sara or zammy book you can get the much cheaper guthix book which is exactly half as good as both the zammy and sara. I consider the obby shield a total waste of cash for 90% of your tasks so recommend getting the legend's cape or, even better, the fire cape. Having a preference for longs over scimmies is absolutely fine. I would suggest using the scimmy for serious training and the long for whenever you feel like having some fun. I would suggest training only attack and defense until you can pc with Affliction and then putting all of your points on strength since it is by far the best xp overall. Dharoking is an option but I find it wasteful, expensive, and plain annoying. Focus on the rune defender first, the dark gloves second, the legend's/fire cape third, and the god books whenever you deem plausible. Good luck! Bravo! You sir, deserve a Cookie \

Well then you have already managed to screw up your "Pure" with the Def and Prayer Levels. Unless you want a Rune Pure?... -
Unbeaten: 99 Magic! Finally.
d3vilbro replied to mrmyk's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
Wow you are the highest 1 Prayer staking account that I have laid eyes on  Good luck with your goal to 90-70-90, you will make it no problem -
That is just spam, you could have just exited the topic rather than posting...

1. Shortbow ftw, it is much faster 2. A higher arrow will hit harder, and also more consistantly. For example the Bronze and Iron arrows both have the same max hit, but the Iron one will hit this max more often...

6. Because it is a relitivly rare item, it is the same reason that Party Hats, although completly useless, are worth so much. When you get one you can then brag about it, making you e-cool 8-) I think it is pointless to buy one though. Atleast phats will rise in price, wheras the Hachet will drop in price 7. Lol... 8. Not as far as I can see, I mean honestly, why give some of the Barrows armour awsome specials and others completly pointless ones :? 9 & 10. I doubt it very much, but am not positive 11. He desperatly wants to be a mime, therefore he thinks that if he sits completly still for long enough, the mime will train him as his apprentice...

Are you allowed to ask where someone lives? By that I mean country/state/city rather than an actual address...
-
Wrong, the amount of people at any certain spot doesn't affect how quickly you will catch them...

I believe that he was able to use strength boosting prayers in a duel with didn't allow them and they never used up his prayer points...

If my understanding of this is correct, Auto-Rune somehow got into the Jagex server, typed in "580" (the pink party hat ID) in some kind of noted form, placed the number of pink phats offered as "0" and put it up on the trade screen. The other person's side got a value of 1 from the server, therefore creating multiple items. Is this right? Second, is it true that Andrew offered lifetime membership to any person who told him how the cheat worked; he then banned the person who told and everyone else involved? If so, seems like a pretty petty thing to do. Third, I read this. There was a bug where people could attack bankers? Can anyone explain this? These are things which I don't understand either...

What Def Lvl do you think I would need to train at the Lvl 12 Minotaurs while using little to no food? I am currently 26 Def with full Mith... (I got hacked out of my lvl 86 Main so do not flame)
