A city is crap, I don't care. A million zombies surrounding a tower basically means certain death for us. If the army ever tried to retake it, they might just bomb the city, so they wouldn't have to lose any of their soldier's lives. There would be no way to farm on any scale that would support people. We couldn't mow down a million zombies. Do we have a million bullets? If we killed a zombie a minute for a year, we wouldn't even have cleared a 5th of a large city's population. Agriculture in the middle of no where would be the only real way to have any chance to survive.

I think the logistics of moving 1000 people to through infected territory would be impossible, but if it could be pulled off, having a small town would be a good thing. Walls would be hard to build, since concrete would be impossible to bring in any large amounts. we'd have to use trees and rock. And I call being one of the leaders. haha.

there are only like 13 (I think) airbuses that airlines have. We'd have a better chance of getting an aircraft carrier. Planes are a very bad idea, I have to say. There would be no way to collect water, and even if there was a source only minutes away, what if we were surrounded by thousands of zombies? There would be no way to grow food, and in an apocalypse that could last more than 20 years, we would never have enough supplies for ever 10 people. A city is one of the worst places to be, there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of zombies, but at least a high rise building would be infinitely better than a plane. The best possible thing, would be a walled area, with a house of some sort inside it, with enough room for agriculture, a well, that's in some place remote. And acquiring an airbus beforehand would be impossible, unless one of us has 300 million lying around. Even if they were all abandoned, they would all be likely 1000s of miles away from each other. I say this is the best thing to do. 1:We all meet up. this is in the early stages of the attack. By this time, one of us will have scouted out an area, hopefully hundreds of miles away from civilization that would be able to sustain us. 2:We get a plane, just a normal one you'd find at like any air port, fill it with weapons, ammunition, water purification equipment, canned foods and MRE's, and building materials and supplies. 3:We fly as close to the place we picked as we can. Even if it means landing in an area we won't be able to take off from again. 4: Begin setting up. Plant seeds, and build a basic perimeter. If there are natural supplies, like trees or rocks, we use those. If not, we probably chose a bad place. 5:We build a stronghold of sorts, or at least somewhere to live. 6: Survive. Have at least one lookout posted at all times, just in case bandits or zombies find us. One zombie will make noise and attract more. 7:In 15-20 years, send a scouting party out to find out what happened. Are there any humans left? Are the zombies still around? Is anything alive? Did the surviving humans and zombies kill each other off? 8: If the zombies are still around, we stay where we are. in 10 years, maybe send another party out. If humans are back in power, we return to civilization. If it is the last option, we could either try to stay where we are, try to search for other pockets of humanity, like ourselves, or do something else, like move into a city. It's up to us.

The absolute best defense would be a thousand miles between you and the zombies. Or, even a few hundred. At that point, it's more about not starving than actually worrying about zombies.

Well for what it's worth, here's what I can actually do. I can shoot a gun, I've only done it once or twice, but supposedly I wasn't bad. I also play paintball, or have in the past, and was good at that, but that's a lot different. I'm certified in wilderness first aid, so I know what to do for basic to semi severe injuries. I also know cpr, and so on. A medic wouldn't be to help full, but people will get hurt from other things, like falling, explosives gone wrong, even fire. Also, if a zombie bites someone wearing chainmail, the blunt force could even break a bone. I can run for a long time without getting tired. I know too much crap about zombies. this comes from being sick for two weeks, and my brother giving me his zombie survival guide book, and me finding it interesting, and reading world war z, etc. I can drive I can fly a plane. Though I doubt I could fly anything big, i've only flown a small personal plane, and I don't have a license. But it's better than nothing. I know how to make a basic shelter Probably other stuff, but whatever stuff that fits, I could be. haha

Do i have to be the hot female of child bearing age? :wall:

*Shameless Advertisement* There's a zombie survival RPG in the falador library.

I heard that once, but it was worded like If you tell me the truth, I will cut off your head, if you tell me a lie, I will strangle you, if you say nothing I will stab you through the heart.

I just made us a stronghold to hang out it. Good luck zombies. [hide=][/hide]

Didnt know you were a girl =P Oh, can you give me the link to the "zombie survival guide"? It's a book, but this is a wiki that has a lot of similar information. http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com/ EDIT: This one is based more on the guide http://zombie.wikia.com/wiki/Zombie_Wiki but, i still suggest you buy the guide, it's by max brooks, and it's at most book stores. Also, by the same guy, world war z is another zombie book, but it's a story rather than a guide. I recommend both.

Ok, I call being the girl everyone underestimates, but ends up saving everyone's [wagon] at least once.

But how many of us could actually, physically do what we plan? How many people actually know how to shoot a gun, build a shelter, and so on? Not many :| Well, I'm certified in Wilderness First Aid, CPR, stuff like that, I've shot a gun, I play paintball/airsoft occasionally. But I don't know how far that would get me...

I got all 4 dead on the 4th part of no mercy. They were separated, and I punched them all of the edge of the building. When I'm ingame it says i got lambs 2 slaughter, but on steam it says I haven't. o.O

Zombie survival guide zombies are romero type zombies. Planning for return of the dead is pretty much impossible, unless you can make a get away to the moon. l4d zombies is basically just hole up and pray they don't find you. Land of the Dead zombies is pretty much the same as our plan, just hole up somewhere..

I agree lent. I mean, if you're in a controlled environment, or it doesn't matter what you burn, fire is good, but other than that. And motorcycles are the best for short to medium distances. Bicycles are the best for long, since they don't need fuel. Well the best would be a helicopter, but there wouldn't be many just lying around for the taking.

If we follow the zombie survival guide definition, Solanum (zombie virus) is only in humans, and it is fatal to anything else. So if a dog bites one, and gets some fluids in it's mouth, dead dog. Even if birds could be infected, lighting them would be stupid. The last thing you need is hundreds of fireballs crashing into your stronghold. They would light it on fire, and do more damage than they would have if we didn't use a flame thrower. Destroying the stairs is necessary, unless you have an extremely maintained perimeter. Basements are trouble, if there's a fire or a gas leak or anything, you could be trapped and die. Buses are also a bad idea, in most cases. They are slow, very inefficient, and we would run out of gas quickly. Plus, in any apocalypse the streets would be littered with abandoned cars and other obstacles, making driving near impossible. Light doesn't hamper their vision at all, it just tells them where we are. Having bright lights would just make us a giant beacon, all the zombies for miles would come to us. According to the guide, zombies lack the coordination to climb ladders, usually, though about 1 in 10 (I forget the exact number) might make it up a short ladder. A city is the worst idea possible. Hate to say it. Do we want to be in a place filled with millions of zombies? If the military ever tries to retake areas, they might just carpet bomb the city, it's a lot easier than going in and killing countless zombies. The best place to be would be in the middle of no where. Like hundreds of miles away from anything. But that's not always a possibility, so at least somewhere slightly remote is best. Cremation is the best option for getting rid of corpses, but simply burying them once the brain is destroyed works if fire is not an option. And I call being zoey from l4d

Pretty much the point of the bill is so parents can't do that. If the daughter thinks that the parent doesn't respect or trust them enough to let them make their own decision, they shouldn't have to tell the parent.

I have a pretty big screen, so it wasn't stretched on mine. I forgot that it's different on different monitors.

But who do we choose as the sacrifice if we need a quick escape? Pureprayer, no question. Although he wouldn't feed them for very long. pureprayer? I was thinking mlb..... Alright then, we've established who will be the sacrifice. But we also need a hot female of child bearing age and a crazed gun wielding zombie killer. Perhaps we should bring someone to use for food when we run out too. We've got two sacrifices actually. All the better. Why is it when I saw "crazed gun wielding zombie killer" I thought of Lenin? Because Lenin scares us all, though I expected him to be controlling the hordes.. I would think of Lenin as more of a Chicago Ted character.

10*3=30 30-5=25 25+3*1=28 28+2=30 It's just the order in which the math is done in your way.

mmmcanibalism, a halberd? That's similar. Well, since I'm taking a short break from homework, I'll make a detailed plan. First, I find out about it. Whether it's in some distant country, or if it's already starting near me. Firstly, I go to the gun store near me, and buy some guns. I would probably get 5-10, if I could afford it, and as much ammunition as possible. Then, I would go to costco, and buy as many canned goods as possible, in bulk. While I was there, I would also get some basic construction supplies, including saws for cutting down trees, nails, and so on. And buy gasoline for a chainsaw. I go back to my house. and go to the most distant point on my land. ( I own a lot of land, and I live on a mountain) I'd probably go to the top of my mountain, where there's a cell phone tower. I would start building around the cell phone tower, cutting down trees to make a wall. After i have a basic wall of tree trunks surrounding the cell phone tower, I would move all my supplies up. I would try to build a sort of home there, like with a roof and such. Over the next several weeks, I would dig a trench around my encampment, so that zombies, if they found me, would have an even harder time getting in. Near the cell phone tower was a site for a house that was never built, but they did dig a well, and I could probably use that for water. Outside my encampment I would clear the trees, and start growing vegetables, and so on. I would shut down the cell phone tower, and reroute the electricity from it's generator so I could have things like lights. The cell phone tower would also serve as a useful watchtower, there's a ladder going up the middle of it, and I could climb up there and get a better view of my surroundings. If I had time, I would try to build another shorter tower outside my walls, and make a rope bridge in between them, so that if I needed to escape, I could climb up the cell tower, and walk outside of my walls safely. I'd wait there as long as i could, hunting and farming for food. If zombies found me en masse, I'd try to hold out, but if I needed to escape, I probably could before they breached my walls. EDIT: As of this post, I am now 16.

I'm random enough that I can be funny, like I don't always stay on topic, and I might notice things that aren't completely relevant and so on, but not random enough that I'm an idiot.
