  1. I think it's just kinda funny that he requested to bury bombs under cities. If no one else was doing anything I might help, but since everyone else (almost) is gonna do stuff, I'm not going to.
  2. Italy continues making better supercars. Just for fun, one Lamborghini is being fully militarized with the best materials possible. It will be able to fire dual miniguns. Because why not.
  3. Lol. Didn't Grim secretly nuke Dusty's wall in the last game. Also, adding to the military suggestion: To prevent large armies, just cap it off at 500,000 for a professional army and 100,000 for militia. That was the only other reason why Archi had to get rid of the militaries. Even if we continue this, someone like Hex will just keep a massive army of 7.5 million people. In the long run, we have the same problems as what Archi feared -- the sole reason why he imposed this rule. Brb building army of 30 million clones that I'm hiding underground. Wasn't that your plan in the first game for a while?
  4. Secret 1000 foot walls of tungsten.
  5. Of course not, that would break your established isolationist play style... Well, I'm playing as Italy this time around, so that kinda puts me in the center of the action. I was only an isolationist the last times because I already controlled my entire continent (Or multiple continents by the end) with no competitors. I thought you were playing as Brazil. Anyway, here's my suggestion for the military issue. Since the rule was imposed in order to prevent people from suddenly discovering 500 new tanks off of WIkipedia, why not do the following? Each country gets assigned specific numbers of tanks, naval ships, soldiers, and aircraft at the beginning of the game. This will be based upon the actual military that your country has in real life. However, the equipment is standardized at first so we wouldn't have the complicated task of assigning you 50 Apache helicopters, 200 other types of helicopters, etc. For example, Britain would get assigned a military based on its real life statistics, although all of the naval equipment will have the same stats. The same would apply to the RAF and the British Army. I switched once I realized we were using 2000 gdp, when Brazil decided to take a huge GDP dip, making it way poorer. Plus, I really wanted to switch it up a bit, seeing as I had Brazil the past 2 games. How about we just build up our armies.

    A Heads up

Given that he said you can't imply it, I'm gonna say that you're not allowed to imply it.

  8. Well if someone attacks an ally 100 miles away, I don't want to wait a month to attack. (Not that anyone is my ally as of yet.)
  9. Also, I really think the two hours to move troops rule is kinda [developmentally delayed]ed. That's a month in game time. It might take about two hours for a large scale invasion, but to land 10,000 troops from 200 miles away should take 30 minutes top.
  10. This might be tough to do, but get some of these. Duct tape one to the inside of the gas cap door, then one to the car itself, so when they open the cap it will go off. These things are reallly loud. Be sleeping with a window open, or outside, it should wake you up. You can buy them here. http://madhattermagicshop.com/magicshop/product_info.php?products_id=2927 http://madhattermagicshop.com/magicshop/product_info.php?products_id=2926 After you're woken up, you can go do whatever.
  11. Just to clarify. This doesn't mean that other nations aren't friends too. :P --- Doom, it's just probaly because Archi had that list. No clue why, but maybe it's more reliable to use a single source than many different sources, since each GDP estimate on Wikipedia might come from a different year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_%28nominal%29 All from 08, with multiple sources. Alright, I don't like having such a small gdp (For some reason the gdp of Brazil decided to drop 400 billion in 2 years around that time) so, I'm switching to Italy. All that I've doing remains the same, as I only started most of the projects this year. Only thing different is I put less money into the police, which balances my budget perfectly.
  12. ??? Ah, didn't realize we're going by 2000 GDP. Remind me why we're doing that?
  13. Break down of IAG/Budget Army: 250b Genetics+Modernisation=25b Various science grants=25b Nanotubes=50b Hydrogen fuel cells etc=30b Nuclear=100b Infrastructure 600b Gun Contracts: 2b Police: 5b Total Projects= 1087 billion Treasury: 500 billion ish.
  14. All annexations are canceled. 50% funds from annexation are now going into reforming the Brazilian army, navy, and airforce. All the planes and tanks, boats, etc. will be modernized. All the previous vehicles from the disbanded army are going to be recycled into new weapons. The Brazilian department of defense is starting a contest for a new standard assault rifle, and carbine. The winning company will get a contract to produce. A similar contract contest is starting for DM/sniper rifles. We are also putting a large chunk of money into making the police force into one to be reckoned with, and to remove corruption. Crime is expected to fall dramatically with a police force that actually is effective. Since most drugs are legalized, crime has already been on the down. Another 600 billion is going into infrastructure, giving us around a 40% boost by the next 10 years. Timeline: Reformation of the army: 10% 4.16 20% 4.17 40% 4.18 60% 4.20 80% 4.21 100% 4.22 Gun contracts: 4.18 Police: 4.18
  15. lolwut brazil? i already invaded uruguay :3 . All of that was from my first post, and we cant invade in the first year. Plus, you don't have a military. EDIT: Wait, where are the text files?
  16. So how about we combine the two systems, and bring every country that's above 2.5 trillion down to that. That way there are no people that are hugely advantaged to start.
  17. Not if you don't have imagination.. Money is what it is all about otherwise. With the current system, the US could annex every single country in south america, africa, and asia other than japan, I think. And no one could stop that. So i'm gonna go ahead and say that's an advantage.
  18. For reference, for brazil it would take 25 years ish to get from 1.5-> 3 trillion. To get from 3 trillion to 7 it would take another 40. From 7 trillion to 10 it would take another 35. So to get from 1.5 trillion to 10 trillion it would take 100 days. During that time the US would go from 13 trillion -> 20 trillion.
  19. How about we keep gdp's how they are, and have it like this. If you invest 100% into infrastructure, over 10 years, you have a 60% IAG growth, if your gdp is under 100 billion. 50% if under 500 billion 40 if under 1 trillion 30 if under 3 20 if under 7 10 for under 10 2% for anything above 10 That means that it'll even out, but the countries that start higher will still have a lead for a while. This way all countries can catch up, it just takes time. Once you get to the next level it'll go down to that rate, etc.
  20. 1.8 trillion actually.
  21. You're gonna need a ton more than 50b to annex Germany. More like a few trillion, just so you know.
  22. The current system is that it takes Brazil, the 7th or something most powerful gdp wise in the world around 1100 years to catch up to the US. The US was formed as a nation around 250 years ago. I sense a problem.
  23. Or the US could build an army 10 times larger than mine, increase at a rate 10 times faster than me, and defeat me instantly. Fix the system, or the game is pointless.
  24. How about we say that the IAG is based off of gdp/person instead of gdp. Because, the current system is: if you start with 10 million people, and a 10 billion gdp, invest a bunch into infrastructure, but by the end you have 12 million people, but only a 10.2b gdp or equivalent. With my system the gdp/capita would be increased, so you get 12 240 000 000 for your IAG at the end. One thing I don't like about this system is that the current world powers have an unbeatable advantage to start. Population is far too complex to keep track of because of various social policies. Example: I start with 10 million peopla and 10 billion GDP, with a GDP/Person of 1,000. I kill everyone, bar myself, in my country. My GDP/Person is 10,000,000,000. I build an army of cyborgs and make war. Otherly, its just another number to keep track of, and, to be honest, its not that important....since your GDP and Population are seperate from your IAG. Well, it means that if, for example, me as Brazil want to catch up to the US, it would take me over 1000 days. Assuming that the US stays the same. And retech, building and maintaining that many ships will take nearly your entire IAG and a long, long time.
