Yes, this a follow up to my last blog, "A Pure Awakens...", with the exception that the pure went great and is still going great, but I've decided to stop running from wannabe tanks and create one myself. As with my last pure, it will be solely F2P which means no PC, not like I'll need it, and no rock crabs (which I'll probably be using this smiley alot because of this :wall: ) As you'll see in the highscores, my last pure came out great, iii_p00p_iii (those are zeros), but his defence only being 1 and his attack only being 41, I started to run into some difficulties, many being the constant eating and waste of food and also the fact that I could never take down any nubcakes in full rune who normally would be a piece of cake if I only had higher attack/defence. So I've come to a conclusion, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. This being said, take a look at the stats and watch in amazement as I climb up the rankings fairly quickly. :anxious: In a side note, I'll be training on men and women until my 40 defence goal is complete. The men and women in Lumbridge that is, right next to Bob's Axes... Just for you curious people :wink: And with that... Same here. I won't be sad if I lose something, it's just a game. If I win something, I am happy. I am usually polite to my enemies, if they start to act idiotish, I try to flame gently back. They are just often too jerks towards me, and I can't understand why :? Make that a 3rd :wink: I always thought it was just me that shakes when I pk but once i asked my fellow friends irl they agreed that when they first start to pk (mainly P2P), they get really shakey and nervous on dying, and so do I. As you all know or should know or at least have heard of (he's kind of a big shot around tip.it) Lord Rodyle0 [evilrodyle], well he's one of my friends irl (in my class even), and we talk about pking alot of times and how we react to it. As we both started pking we were both equally nervous but we've found out that once we get a few kills, we just sit back and relax b/c by then, we're in the + area of cash and don't need to worry about dieing as much and also, we get used to the tension. VERY good thread (to the idiot who keeps flaming this, have you ever actually pked? [1 and/or 3-iteming doesn't count] :shame: ) Other than that, very good idea for a thread. :thumbsup:

Well... I haven't much knowledge of maulers yet but my current mission is a tanker with 1 attack, 1 strength, 40 def, 70 range, blah blah blah... yeah you know the rest. Anyways, this kind of blog makes me want to make a mauler even more, seeing as how much pwnage they can actually do : But I wish you the best of luck with your mauler and goodluck with the pking. :thumbsup:

Well, I just started my tank and am getting the 40 def out of the way first so I've been testing out ways to lvl it up quickly. One way being the best for me so far, was just getting a training sword (didn't feel like going to get an iron) and just keep killing men/women near Bob's Axes. No food required and if you die just run back, but make sure you put the attack style back on block (defense). I also have recently thought of maybe using the dummies at varrock but I don't know how long that would work for or until what lvl you have to stop at. EDIT: DO NOT use the dummy method! It only gives attack experience! I tryed it on my tank and got 5/83 attack xp! #-o :wall: #-o :wall: #-o :wall: #-o :wall:

Good guide, just one thing... There's another combo for a maul pure... the most used one being the rune scim but a much better one... and maybe a little harder to get but much much better, would be this one used by few, which totally pwns btw :wink: ATTACK: 5 (for steel, makes it easier to train) STRENGTH: 60 (with steel its a long hard task but is possible and proven) DEFENSE: 1 (yes, this sounds crazy already, I know, but it works) RANGE: 70 PRAYER: 1 HP: ? Tactic: Range the nubcake until he's low on hp and then pull out an obby maul for a crushing blow. (obby because no 50 attack is needed :wink: ) Anyways, just trying to help broaden your guide. Other than that, good job on the first guide. =D>

yeah i no im not gonna get dchain right off the bat. ive heard it takes around 10,000 kills to get one. but im willing to stay that long. i might do what somebody else i saw on tip.it did. he bought 30k iron arrows for 810k pretty nice price and ill get a nice amount of range lvls on my way to dchain :wink: btw its off topic but sweet stewie sig :D

lol all i have to say about ur recent fake on the dpl8 is that... take more time to make it look more real. make it look like you'd imagined it to be. make it look like the rumors u've heard. take out the time to make it look better instead of using that damn paint fill button.

yeah i thought of going straight for 85. but i decided y not get it to 58 first. kill some cave horrors get some black masks. get it to 65 after that. kill a buncha dusties till dchain. then go for 85 slayer :wink:

PLEASE KEEP THIS POST ALIVE! IF YOU READ IT POST PLEASE! so i've decided to get my slayer lvl up to 58. i wont stop there though. thats just my first goal. after that its 65 slayer and then the big one, 85 slayer...hopefully. :? anyways ill be keeping a log of all the lvls i gain. heres my stat pic: Day 1 ok last assignment was 140 sum trolls. didnt get a pic of that one but got my slayer lvl up to 37 close to 38. anyways, my new assignment is 147 greater demons. hehe got it on 2nd demon finally 147 greater demons down. its time for my next task which was the one task i didnt want to get... dagannoths... 118 of them. well only one way to deal with this letdown... kill em all!! but that shall be tomorrow for i am tired and wish to slay no more but tomorrow ill continue the massive killing. cant wait. so after day 1 i have reached 8 lvls more than i started out with. now just 17 more lvls to go! Day 2 didnt no i was getting this lvl and as soon as i got it i couldnt get to the screenshot button in time and a dag spawn attacked me #-o well on about the 93rd dagannoth i killed i got this pretty little lvl up which finally gave me 92 combat!! w00t!! so i fugured itd be a good time to update my stat pic so i did. enjoy. just 23 more dags to kill and its onto the next slayer task!!! just barely got this pic but here it is finally im done dagannoths!!! w00t! now i just got assigned 158 pyrefiends and last time my friend got that task he came out with a shield left half. hopefully i have the same luck Day 3 ok im done the pyrefiends and now im assigned to 120 hellhounds. time to bring out my range pyrefiends are dead and hell hounds are all dead too. i now have trolls task which i've already gotten granite shield from. so for the past 2 days u guys might have noticed that this hasent been updated. this is because yesterday i was pking all day cause i got a little bored of slayer. and today i wanted to see what new item i got from teh new quest so me and my friend decided to do it. and let me just tell u that it was the BIGGEST waste of time ever :evil: i got a piece of crap crystal saw. how is that any different from a regular one!!?? wtf!!! anyways heres a picture of it: Day 5 (missing 2 days because i was screwing around on both of them and got bored of slayer) ok todays goal is to do 2 more slayer tasks. im just now finishing up the last 70 trolls as i type this. today will be a little shorter because ill be going out tonight with some friends. i should get back home in time to get another 2-3 hours in which will help me reach my goal for today. well, here goes nothing. i missed this screen shot because i was updating on my goal today haha. anyways here it is. u may have noticed that i skipped a lvl. thats because i was babysitting yesterday and i gained a lvl. i couldnt update it into my blog because i was using a dial up computer at my aunts house and well, if u've had dial up u no how bad it is. anyways here it is: well on my second to last troll i got this pretty little number :lol: w00t!! 155 trolls out of the way and i came out with a granite shield and another 1k earths! :thumbsup: ok next task is 164 harpie bug swarms. havent fought these yet in my whole runescape career but i shall p00n them all!! :D 16k cash and 2k fire runes later... harpies are all dead!! and may i just say that was teh fastest slayer task ive done yet!! anyways my next task is my favorite things to range... firegiants!!!! and 167 of them!!! time to bring out the range again finally i bought a cannon and 1.5k cballs!!!! now its time to speed up this slayer lvl upping thingy :lol: anyways i get cannon and in a half hour i've gotten these so far... first i get the big five zero 50 freaken slayer baby! and then i get this sexy loving lvl!!! hell yeah i can finally smite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im so freaken happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well thats all for tonight. its bed time now staying up till 4 am and playing 8 hours of runescape really takes it outta u haha. g'night. wow... that was the funnest slayer task so far. well, 167 fire giants done. off to my next task. well, its time for 146 lesser demons. these things are fun. but id say they'll get boring. anyways its time to use the rest of those cballs and sel lthat cannon and buy me a black mask. well, im off!! w00000000t!!!! 93 combat!!!! hell yeah!!!!!!! ok 146 lesser demons dead. off to the next task! 11 bronze dragons haha! thats it?!? oh well this will definitely be my fastest slayer task yet. well im done bronze drags and just sold my cannon for 600k. bought it for 575k time for black mask!! ok just got trolls. 162 to kill. great source of earths. haha i got this lvl from identifying an herb lol. trolls are all done. new task is 134 dagannoths. im off! lol i was cutting gems that i got from trolls and i got this lvl up haha got this on my last dagannoth now the dags are done! w00t! lol and some of u might no "evilrodyle". yeah, well he finally told me that the lighthouse's dags are easier than the waterbirth ones. lol wow did i waste a ton of monks on the waterbirth ones. haha well im off to my next slayer task.

good luck i quit barrows a while ago when i learned that green dragons was better money. best thing ive gotten there was flail. and also verac hits pray now so yeah... lil bit harder? :wink: anyways hope u get better drops than i did :?

a little bit confusing at first but an awesome idea, i like the thought of the runescape charity hall. i always am dropping my items to clear out bankspace when i can be putting them to a good use if they actually changed to use this bank system. maybe it would solve the problem for beggars \ :thumbsup:
