  3. single player wont load the maps, and my firewall doesn't block any call of duty files that need to be downloaded to play on a server. it used to work fine, but it seems to have been getting slower all the time until it doesnt work any more. and if anyone feels like it could they check the hjt log for me plz
  4. i just cant get macs, they are too unorganized, and take more clicking than windows. but that is just me, and i can see why other ppl use macs i guess.
  5. everything is updated, and i tried playing it again the other day, and it loaded the game, but it wouldn't load any maps. it also took almost 15 minutes to load the game, but the maps didn't show any progress that it was loading, so i had to quit.

  7. this happens to the mice at my schools, try using it on a clean, white piece of paper for a while and see if it jumps over to the side. if it doesn't, then the mouse is fine and its the mouse pad that has too many scratches.

  12. ya i dont think that changing the resolution on ur screen will change the java applet for runescape also this should be moved to the tech and computers section if a mod sees this
  13. i dont think that this system is too bad, but i used to play rsc back in the day, so its much better than from back then
  14. double click on the bar so a list of the search items come up. put the mouse over the first 1 and just press delete. do that until its clean

  16. did you have to install anything when you first got it? if you did you might have unchecked a box for wma format, or just not had it checked originally. if u can try and find a list of formats it will play, and see which ones are checked.

  18. that info u gave doesnt show ur graphics card, but hiw u find is is by going to my computer->view system information(its on the left)->hardware->device manager->display adapters. that will show u ur graphics card so u wont have to question which 1 u have
  19. one of my computers had a similar problem where it wouldn't turn on but the internal lights were on. i got a new power supply and that fixed everything.
  20. k i found that it can hold up to 4g of memory, and ill put in the cards soon
  21. when i get the system information , it shows that it is a dell dimension DM051 inter pentium 4 cpu 3.00GHz 2.99GHz, 512 MB of RAM does that mean that that is the max i can have, or is it just the amount that i do have. i know that i do have 512 mb
  22. i am wondering if the max sticks of ram that you can have in your computer is 2, because thats the most ive heard of people having. i was looking in my computer and i saw 4 slots for ram sticks and i might have some extras lying around. all i need to know right now is what is the max number of sticks of ram i can have?
