Cannot write file to disk generally means permissions, did you run the installer and the SwiftKit launcher as Administrator?

If you downloaded it manually somewhere I'd be vary as we can't vouch for the authenticity of files from 3rd party locations and strongly advice against getting them from any such locations.

In the right hand utilities under the magnifying glass you can quick search for a monster. I see it only displays combat level and life points, I'm sure we could be able to accommodate weaknesses into this somehow, we will look into it for the next release cycle, thanks!

This question was resolved via PM. In regards to the run-time error 13 problem this was caused by missing permissions, solved by running as Administrator.

What happens if you open runescape in Internet Explorer?

Is this a javascript error you are seeing? If so, this is due to the ads served on the website and is unrelated to both internet explorer and java it self, you can attempt to follow the steps at http://kb.swiftkit.net/question-internet-explorer-script-error.html to disable them although depending on the errors this may not always work.

Hmm, let's do a quick test I have some theories; Close down SwiftKit (just to ensure there's no open connections to imageshack) Go to imageshack in your browser(s) and make sure you are logged out manually (if you have more than one browser you use, please do this on all applicable) Open up SwiftKit again and see what happens if you use imageshack again.

Hi, Yes this is a problem with foreign languages (primarily eastern-asian ones), setting your computer language to English should resolve this.

A quick run through of some of the popular features is on the SwiftKit site at http://swiftkit.net/index.php?page=about but everyone uses it differently and it's hard to really say what the advantage would be in your case and I'd just recommend you try it out. Some use it for the chat features, others for quick access to stats, others again like having access to quest guides fast and easy.

Well, allowing just the SwiftKit launcher won't help, I'd try installing it with your firewall AV disabled if you are comfortable doing so.

When you re-installed java, which version did you use? It's important to note that the latest java version, Java 7, isn't too good with RuneScape, and Java 6 is still being updated at a rather nice pace and works perfectly with RuneScape. You can use the guide at http://kb.swiftkit.net/question-runescape-wont-load.html to help you remove all java and install the correct version, I would try that and see if it helps.

Hi, I've been unable to replicate this behavior on my own, are you sure you had switched profiles before showing this to your brother (maybe you selected your own profile again by accident) ?

This was resolved by using a different update server due to connectivity issues towards the update server.
