So why should we help if nothing dramatic will ever change? Wouldn't that just be a waste of taxpayers money and manpower which could be used for something more worthwhile? Nothing will ever dramatically change because America is so damn scared of anything challenging capitalism. Thats why. I didn't ask why nothing would change, I asked why we should bother helping if it's not worthwhile.

Trust me, I've elaborated before. I'm not new around here or anything (original join date in Aug. 2004). So here are the answers: Yes. Got rid of some stress. Felt good while the adrenaline was pumping. Knife+flesh=cut. Not especially. As my dad changed careers we've moved between lower and upper middle class (currently just middle class) but at the time relationships with my parents were just going to hell and it was really hurting me. Upset no - pissed off yes (I'll bet you could find shallow knuckle marks in my walls if you looked).

Ever been on the Tower of Terror? You get pulled down 13 stories faster than gravity would pull you then shot back up ^_^ Now how did I foget to give it hnorable mention, it's better than free fall cause your right, it pushes you down. I have been on it seceral times, 4 or 5 at least on my last visit. Also a new Epcot ride -mission mars- deserves menion. Its a simulator/centrefuge, veary high G's. I went on that at least 6 times in succesion. I haven't been there since they added Mission Mars but I'm hoping to get back there within the next few years.. I don't really want to wait until I have kids and take them when they're young. It's no fun to ride the little kids rides all the time

You're right. But everyone who dresses in a stereotypical way wants attention. Anyone who goes out of their way to not dress in a stereotypical way wants attention. Anyone who just has their own style wants attention. It's human nature to want attention. You want it, I want it, we all want it. Need an example? You're drawing attention to yourself by trying to make fun of me. However you failed miserably because what you tried to make fun of was not an opinion but a fact.

You make me sick, people are dieing and you want to sit and do nothing, America is the most powerful country in the world, we have the power to do something and we have the power to stop this killing, how would you feel if you had to live there, how would you feel if we weren't this lucky. Thats just being psychotic, "I don't care". Like mentioned, we have a lot of troops in Iraq right now. It's costing us a fortune and notice how our gas prices are so much higher than they were 10 years ago? So now you want us to send troops over to another country so we can build more debt over a war that isn't effecting us. The U.S. might be a major world power but I somehow remember a lot of people saying we shouldn't act like the world police. Why should we step in and be the world police when nobody wanted us to before? I say forget it. If nobody wanted us meddling in their business before we're not going to do it now. They can fight amoungst themselves and when it actually effects us, then we'll kick some [wagon]. Until then I'm taking the "I don't care" stance because it's a waste to get involved and have people [bleep] about us interfering with other countries. Be sick if you like, I don't care about that either. How about you get off your [wagon] and go fight over there? You probably wouldn't. You'd let our soldiers go fight while you sit here and argue about what they're doing.

You're an idiot. Forgot to mention that too in my other post...don't mess with emos like that here, we have deloriagod and he pwns. I just hate it when people are like, "omg emos slit their wrists!" People need to get their damn facts straight before they go off with stereotypes that aren't even close to being true. Now, shall I remind everyone who still thinks just emos cut themselves that cutting is a form of relief and is generally caused by depression? Perhaps you should try it before commenting on it. Granted, people do stupid things on alcohol but people I hang out with are, for the most part, responsible. You learn to realise drinking because you enjoy the drinks and to socialise while concious is more fun than drinking to get hammered beyond belief. It's not exactly like other drugs where there is a definate one-size-fits-all result. In other words, not everyone downs half a carton and feels the urge to go pee in a cop car or jump of a roof or whatever. Even when drunk, most people I know of realise that's a total party ruiner. Don't let movies shape your perception on what alcohol does to people. People do stupid things w/o alcohol too ;)

You fell 60 feet and nothing happened? 60 ft = ~6 stories My friend jumped from his garage (~1 story) and broke his foot. 60 ft is more likely to be serious injuries/death. I kind of live for adrenaline rushes. Extreme sports, driving fast, roller coasters, or whatever will give me a cheap rush. My last adrenaline rush was accidently drifting on a wet road. Had I known what I was doing I might have been able to pull is off and look good doing it but I ended up in the gravel on the side of the road :lol: Meh, I've jumped from a third story window of a hotel and I didn't get hurt (don't ask, I was just being stupid with soccer teammates at a tournament). Still, falling sixty feet from a tree... ya, you'd be dead, hospital best case scenario. It was probably more like 10 feet or so. I mean, at sixty feet you'd have to describe the fall in detail for me to understand why you aren't six feet under yet. Wow.. That had to be painful considering it hurts my feet/ankles to land if I jump from 10-15ft.. You were 2-3x that high lol

I carry a lighter on occasion for a reason.. I take a lot of please in lighting things on fire. My favorite to date was pouring rubbing alcohol in my bathtub and lighting it. Made a nice flame, only burned for a minute and didn't catch anything on fire (kept the rubbing alcohol away from the sides/shower curtain). Yeah, I've got one of them with me at all times.. "It's better to have one and not need it, than to need one and not have it."

Happens to me when I'm playing a PvP game and I get someone trying to gank me. It feels great and a victory is just the icing on the cake ^_^

My mom only uses coupons for stores where it's like x% off your next purchase. Otherwise we pretty much don't use coupons. Coupons are actually a pain in the [wagon] for me.. I work as a cashier and half of them don't work >.

There's a lot of "gangsters" at my school and they're mostly just talk. They have occasional fights between themselves but nothing more than a few punches and someone from administration steps in. I think what you're thinking of is gang members. Gangsters are more or less just high school kids following the media and pretending to be in a gang so they'll be seen as cool. Gang members are the ones who will commit crimes for no appearent reason.

I decided to come back for a bit and see how things were around here. I've had some good discussions and with summer just a few weeks away my computer is going to be untouched unless I get on Facebook.. But wouldn't the amount of alcohol you drink and how often you drink play big roles in that too? I drink occasionally (maybe once or twice every few weeks) and I don't usually go any father than tipsy (1 hangover was enough to keep me from getting drunk again too soon). If you went out and got wasted every weekend then wouldn't you be at much higher risk than someone who drinks like me? I'm personally not worried about alcoholism because half the stuff I've drank tasted like s* so it's hard for me to get drunk. I've read all the posts here and it seems most of us all okay with underage drinking and are against drinking and driving. Now I'm wondering, how would you feel if the drinking age was set to a standard 18 everywhere? How about just in the U.S.? Do you think the drinking and driving laws should be much more harsh than they currently are?

I had that w/o alcohol last summer :P I guess seeing as how many teens will be depressed for no reason, alcohol could jump start things.
