Underage Drinking

Worst Fear
Same here. I've always loved the idea of actually seeing an alien but at the same time I'm always incredibly alert when I'm outside (alone) at night. I dunno why, but after seeing Signs the idea of seeing an alien when I'm alone creeeps me out. Put a few friends (or just one girl) by my side and suddenly I've got the more confidence than anyone can hope for.

I hate those.. I mostly have them when I'm sleeping near someone and afterwards I always wonder if they're looking at me like I'm [developmentally delayed]ed. :?

Underage Drinking
I'm just wondering what everyones' stance on this subject is. Not only your own as well as your family/friends stance on it. Do you feel people who are against it are overreacting in some ways? My stance: I'm okay with it when it's done responsibly (like not drinking and driving, etc). I'll admit I drink occasionally and adults are always saying how you lose your common sense and such but from my experience you'd have to be pretty up to lose enough common sense to get drunk then drive. My parents' stance: Mom - Will let me drink as long as I don't drink and drive Dad - Totally against me drinking until I'm 21 Friends' stance: Majority - Against it, but don't hate me for doing it A very few - Okay with it, but don't do it Even fewer - Are okay with it and do it. I personally think the 'omg you can't drink till you're 21' type of people are completely overreacting. I've drank more than I planned before, didn't do anything stupid, and I'm totally fine. Now, what is your opinion on this?

When is your Birthday?
Sept. 7 (two days before my parents' anniversary). Turning 17 this year ;) Can't wait till I get my full license and don't have to worry so much about getting a speeding ticket.

So, I see some of you don't have much restraint :P;)

@Dreams =)@
Haha, that sounds like something I'd do. Dude, do you still like Hallie? That's gonna cause some trouble cause Dallas says he thinks me and Rach will end up together (so do I of course) and we don't need no incest going on :P

Worst Fear
Yeah, spiders aren't so hot imo. I have trouble telling them apart so I'm always afraid I'm going to get bit and end up in the hospital cause it turned out to be a brown mercluse or something..

taller or shorter then your siblings...
I'm taller than my bro. I'm also taller than my grandparents on my dad's side by at least 4 inches each. I'm only 5'6" or 5'7" but I've noticed I'm actually a lot taller than most people.

Adrenaline Rush!!
You fell 60 feet and nothing happened? 60 ft = ~6 stories My friend jumped from his garage (~1 story) and broke his foot. 60 ft is more likely to be serious injuries/death. I kind of live for adrenaline rushes. Extreme sports, driving fast, roller coasters, or whatever will give me a cheap rush. My last adrenaline rush was accidently drifting on a wet road. Had I known what I was doing I might have been able to pull is off and look good doing it but I ended up in the gravel on the side of the road :lol:

I've had those. It's actually nice if I was enjoying the dream, but if I wasn't it's a pain in the arse..

Worst Fear
:ohnoes: I'm allergic to wasp and bees and fire ants and most ants and cats and latex and pollen and grass and dust and birches and chocolate. :ohnoes: That is gonna be a pain when your older :wink: They actually make -those- out of polyurethane as well. Latex are cheaper and more reliable but I suppose polyurethane are the only way he'll be able to go. Or he can go w/o a glove but that's not a good idea..

The chav VS Emo arguement were do you come in
Umm.. Are you like, 9 or something? I haven't seen a playground during school hours in God knows how many years.. If elementary school kids are getting into the chav/emo thing that's pretty bad. Popularity doesn't really matter under late middle school/high school.. As for everyone who says they don't know what a chav is or have never seen one, you need to get out of your house. You can honestly say you've never seen a white kid with XL clothes on, listening to rap, talking like (s)he's black, and pretending to be from Philly? I see them every day.. I didn't bother to read much of this thread because I know it's all emo/chav bashing and I've heard enough of that already. Emo and chav are basically just fashions. It's how kids dress and what music they listen to. Hate them if you will, I'll just be here calling you intolerant. You know kids follow what the media says is 'cool' and you're probably guilty of doing so yourself at one point or another so stfu and get a life.

Sex Offenders Under a Bridge
+1, if you stoop so low as to [assault] a child, then the punishment should be just as sick, throw back under the bridge the [bleep]. So after they've served their court ordered time, they should be forced to live like total [cabbage] until their parole is up? Why shouldn't they go molest another child to get back in jail where they'll live more comfortably? Hell, they could off the kid while they're at it and get another one to try for a life sentence. Yup, threating them like [cabbage] when they could just break the law and get into a better place is a great idea :roll:

@Dreams =)@
I usually dream about good things in the past (camping with my grandparents, childhood memories, etc.), future things -not always good- (vacation to Hawaii in August, signing up for the draft at 18, death of parents, etc.), or -most commonly- the girl I can't get out of my head (not inappropriate dreams, romantic). I guess I have the occasional inappropriate dreams but if my mind isn't in the gutter before I fall asleep I won't usually have dreams like that. I'm thinking of starting a dream log but, like many other things I would like to do, I don't think I have the initiative to actually do it..

Pic i have been working on
Let's see what I can do for you.. -Choose some darker colors. Tone things down a bit. It looks like a brick room so I'd suppose there isn't an amazing light source. Also, pick some more colors. I see a lot of yellow, red, and grey. Yellow and red are colors people don't like to look at for a long time, and grey is dull/boring. Have fun with your colors, don't be afraid to try new ideas. -Shade! Make sure your colors blend smoothly and look nice. Make things look more reaslitic/3D. Right now it looks very flat. -Use more asymmetrical shapes. Don't touch any tool but the pencil. Blocky shapes aren't very appealing to the eyes. -Fill in some of that empty space. Don't mess up the composition by crowding too many things in there, but the lack of things happening makes it boring. -I'm supposing all that yellow is representing coins. Define some of the coins, but not all of them (composition). Hope that helps.

Wats your real life inventory?
I hate carrying a lot of stuff too. If I have too much in my pockets I have to keep pulling my pants up because they get so weighted down they just slide off. When I'm at home about all I carry around is my phone because I'm usually texting someone or waiting for someone to reply.

Sex Offenders Under a Bridge
From what I understood, under that bridge is the only place in Dade County, that is far enough away from anywhere which children may congrigate, where they can live. There are literally no houses/apartments/condos/etc where they can legally live. With no residence they cannot get a job which means the government now has more homeless/poor citizens to add to it's statistics. I think they should send the sex offenders out of Dade County if there's no place suitible to live. (I'm not counting under the bridge asa suitible place since I doubt any of us would be willing to give up everything but the clothes we're wearing to go stay there for a few months).

Sex Offenders Under a Bridge
Normal people 'work' to get those luxuries, those guys 'break the law' and get it for free. Not all criminals have friends or family, who knows if some of them get jailed on purpose in wealthier countries :? I sometimes wonder if some people don't get jailed on purpose. Say an elderly person is nearing the time when they'll have to head for a retirement home. But instead of forcing their family to pay for them, they could go break the law and go to prison. Free room, board, some decent luxuries and your family might visit more often than if you were in a retirement home because it's so "horrible" to be in prison.

Fate: Fact or False?
American prisons aren't that bad.. However you can do whatever you want, you just have to face the consequences.

Wats your real life inventory?
Depends where you are and what kind of knife. under 3 inch's is legal in U.K. but as long as they dont catch you its all legal :-# I think it's closer to 6" in the U.S. and you can't be able to open it with one hand. Thus those amazing butterfly knives are illegal (though I know where to get my hands on one ;))

Paris Hilton Makes Me Want To Rip Out My Spleen With A Spoon
I think our media needs to play less of the bad and more of the good. I swear every morning I turn on the news and have to listen to how many people were murdered, who's on trial, how many bodies were found, where those bodies were found, who shot themselves, who raped who, and god knows what else. How about showing the good things that are happening around us?
