Need Help Killing Jad...

Ive died on Jad 5 times now..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

last night when i got to jad i had 4 4dose super restores left 4 4dose sara brews and 1 4dose range pot left.. so gettin to jad is not a problem for me..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

does jad make any specific noise when he is using his attacks? that i could turn my volume on and listen to??

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

if anyone could give me some help i would really appriciate it.

Not sure never attempted it. Why don't you go try looking through some of the guides in AOW or Player-Made Guides.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If all else fails why dnt u try PM'ing Muggiwhplar (think thats his name) in TIF. Im sure he had an excellent guide.

is there a sound that jad makes for range or mage??

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

maybe i just have bad luck.. he did pop up on top of me one time and meleed an 86 haha

1 thing you should remember is jad's range attack is longer than mage attack. If he is out of range to you and the moment he has come into able range to attack you, he will use range attack first. As for the sounds, i vaguely remember how it sounds like but cant seem to describe it #-o

Just learn to recognise the leg movement, and turn range on when he's going to spawn. I could do it (and I have the worst reflexes), so can you.

One makes a sound, one doesn't, so it will help to have sound on

The Range attack is much shorter than the mage attack

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ranged attack sounds like a Fire Wave hitting you (it does NOT include the sound of the Fire wave travelling towards you, only hitting you).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Mage attack sounds like the Retribution prayer going off.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

HOWEVER:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You should never use the sound only to judge the prayer you should use, because when you hear the ranged attack sound, the attack is already on its way to you, so you have less than 1 second to change your prayer (that includes changing prayer and let it activate), which is very short.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The mage attack sound is better, you can hear it while he is doing the attack, so you have a bit longer to change your prayer.
