I got banned yesterday for "Encouraging others to break rules and real world item trading". I have never sold or bought anything and I sent in an appeal to jagex and they denied it. They gave me no proof what so ever except this which is a totally unjust punishment.

A lot of people have been banned for this recently. Try google searching your RS name with the word Runescape after it. I've seen a bunch of people show pics of people using their usernames on RS gold buying sites.

Thanks. I tried everything I could. I sent in an apology for anything I had said wrongfully. I sent in the last chance appeal which was denied AND I even tried sending in queries explaining that they gave me no solid evidence what so ever for banning me. This is what I get for being a honest and giving player. :(

dude, keep pressing. Maybe even lock your account and say someone must know your password and is doing this. Trust me, I went to the ends of runescape to get my account unbanned after it was hacked. Just keep trying. Ill be praying for you :pray:

how can they asociate free-bees with real world traiding...

some guy pays cash irl. in game, transfer is made for free, usually in huge amounts of gp.

I dont understand how I can get banned for something I havent even attempted.. it doesnt not make sense at all. I asked jagex for solid evidence and they gave me auto messages sayin that I broke the rules and they have evidence...so im like at least show me this so called "evidence"..still no answer.. ill keep tryin i guess :(

Ive given away and had drop parties many times. I asked a jagex mod if this was against the rules or wrong and he said no it wasnt. Next thing I know im banned for irl trading? ok?! :shock: :thumbsup:

You've only just noticed? Anyway, Good luck trying to get your account back. And another thong, they always say we have evidence to say that you were in control of the account at the time or something like that, so why the [cabbage] do they never show it you? :|

its proper sad that they have to use the same message for every ban appeal :?

this disgusts me how people get banned for no reason everyday. and for gamekid, i hate how they're automated reply says you were in control of your account, it's like "yes i know i was in control im querying about how i got banned for accepting free stuff!!" all these things anger me

Jagex Ltd. is some sort of corporate monster. I am not familiar with corporate structures in the UK, but in the US, a corporation does not have to provide you with the same freedoms and such that your government does - as long as they aren't breaking any laws.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jagex Ltd. owns the game. They own your character. They own everything in your bank. You pay them $5 a month for the privilege of playing with your character.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They aren't required to be fair or just with you. You can respond by not paying them and doing something else. If everyone decided to not pay them anymore, they would change their rules. But, I doubt you could muster that much organization among the players.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Corporations exist to make money, not administer justice. I'm sorry you've had such a horrible run in, I would be upset if my character was banned.

Im not just gonna forget this...they banned me with along some other stakers that are innocent all this week and I havent done anything wrong..when something like this happens questions start to appear and yes I understand what you said about companies :|

i have exactly the same problem and i want my acount back so badly can you plz tell me what you mean when you say you will keep trying i mean how can u message jagex after all your apeals have been denied

These guys ain't fair..

I am not trying to have them make exceptions. I am simply asking as is my right for the "evidence" they claim to have. If they cannot prove the allegations then they have no right to ban my account they are breaking their own policies. Keep getting the same answer with still no proof-.-
