I can't see how you can judge a best sig maker... What they do is all dependent on what they have available. All that you can judge is the programs they have. The only real exception to this is the MS Paint pixellers, since EVERYBODY has this program.

I was simply saying that you can't compare skill when someone doesn't have the resources (software wise) of other people. I don't think that it's fair to say that I know nothing about this subject due to my opinions on it...

Hmm, my my. I must have played my cards well around here. (tyVM keiph and venomai). I haven't done anything half decent apart from the underwaters but I always get remembered by those. For a noob who hasn't done any other GFX than the sigs to this forum those compliments are really encouraging.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh yeh, to make my list of 11 strech to the official limit of 13, I'll add Forsaken (a lil bright, but stylish) and Vlad (great design).

I spent 3 years sig making, and never touched pixel sigs. Then I picked it up one day and (OMG) I was better than many people out there. It's not being pompous, I am basing it on ratings people get for theirs vs those. And that system is decently unbiased. So yes, they can magically pick it up one day and be better than many people. That's all a matter of adaptability.

Pixel is mostly dependant on your already inherent ability to draw, that applies somewhat to airbrushing as well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Abstract-ish is mostly dependant on your,

 

 

 

i.) knowledge of the program

 

 

 

ii.) experience in using it (ie, if you wanted bright lights, your not going to magically learn how to do it, or the different techniques in doing it, in, say PS.)

 

 

 

iii.) creativity!
