xvillexvalox
The worst roadkill I've seen was a bunny getting decapitated by a school bus, I actually saw it happen, the rabbit died immediatly, it stopped moving altogether after the head rolled away as if it was never alive. The same day I saw 3 crushed birds, which is odd seeing 4 roadkill animals around my house in 1 day.
Abyssalwhip
Well i actually feel bad for road kill unlike most of the idiots here who would laugh or eat it? What the hell, what would possess someone to go pick up roadkill and take it back home to eat. Let's face it, the populations of the animals that end up being roadkill are growing ridiculously fast. It's basically a method of population control despite the grotesque nature of it. I really don't think people purposely try and kill animals that cross the street, it happens in a matter of seconds when someone isn't paying attention or a dumb animal decides to jump in front of your car.Read the post right above where you posted lol Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....
unkn0wnwarrior
I find it amusing when somebody runs into a full-grown moose. The car becomes the roadkill, and the moose basically has a little bit of problem with its legs but often keeps going (when the collision is made at lower speeds). But when the animal actually dies, it only bothers me when it is a deer or dog. Bugs me a little when its a cat, too. I saw a deer caught in the wheel well of a mini-van, it had been dragged down the road. It was a mess. I saw it from a school bus and the girls were trying not to look. The_Dragon_Reborn
Just try and avoid them is really all you can do. For example, when driving during the night, keep you high beam on, thus scaring away any deer. Ever heard of the phrase, "Deer in the Headlights?" A deer, upon seeing headlight will freeze. It will scare the deer alrgith, but not in the way you want it to. The best thing you can do is to drive slowly, and carefully at Dawn and Dusk. ~~Let The Dragon ride again, on the winds of time~~I've always felt as if I'm the only person who can understand the concept of sarcasm on the internet. indy500fan
I've seen a bird sticking out the grill of a car - that was disgusting... :-X I had a bird stuck to the front of my car once. Cleanup is worse than seeing it. Especially when it had apparently been on there a while, and kind of molded around a part of the car and I had to kind of pry it off with a shovel. Screechingmu
Seeing dead dear and animals where I live is pretty much an every day thing. Commonly you see a buck with its head cut off, yeah people will go that far to have something interesting looking stuffed in their house. I believe that roadkill is something that just happens, but it sickens me when some people purposely weave in order to hit things. mr_nub_nub
First of all, it is completely our fault about roadkill ( the human race in general ). I mean, where the ones that cut throguht their mating, hunting, feeding, ect. grounds by chopping throguh them, and then we drive roads and kill them when they try and cross no man's land into their terrotory. What disturbs me is that people here leave them lying around. I've seen roadkill smushed so much you couldn't tell what it is, and some of it from last summer is like molded into the street, theres a bit of "stain" there. Around here most of the roadkill is squirells and birds, but alot of it is actually stuff that fell out a tree when it died or something like that ( their ussually in one peice ). The squirrel here and their doesn't really bother me, but I've seen a cat, and there was a dog who used to live in my neighborhood who had his leg amputated because of getting it run over :boohoo:. I also see alot of dead animals on the sidewalk or grass where they died, at least half of the dead squirrels I've seen are on the sidewalk. The deer around here never get hit ( invinicible little beasts ), and there mostly deep in the park by my house anyway, not really walking onto the street. By the way, ever the the Wildboyz episode when they ate roadkill? In Iowa and "farmer" states, people actually eat that. :P Going for 2.4 bil cabbage, plz donatecurrently at 120 cabbage =/
Blue_Eggz
I have never hit an animal and I hardly see any roadkill because I live in NYC which is the big city where animals never come. Although, in florida I saw a dead frog and in NYC I have seen quite a few squashed pigeons... :-X
