Way more soothing, the second one is too busy, and the colour transitions are poor..The background of number 2 isnt very appealing neither..

No offence, but I was really expecting better. The first looks like it was done in a few minutes with some simple Photoshop effects. The second is a bit better, but the color differences are very sharp, and blending is poor.
