March 16, 200719 yr wel you probaly know the burgh the rot ramble and that it takes you to burgh the roth, now i was thinking that maybe this could be a new faster way to barrows? just do easy route evade evrything you can and if you get a event in morton you escape it to get to barrows faster. the added affect that unles you get ghast event your food does not rot and if you get the good event your hits wil be raisd above normal
March 16, 200719 yr That thought occured to me the first time i did the easy route and got no encounters, however you cant guarantee no encounters and i still think its slower than the 'shortcut' through Mort Myre using the boat.
March 16, 200719 yr if you from earlier is using the fairy rings to travel, then the fairy ring down to the tunnel from canifis pub is still faster, as it takes pretty long time to go through the mini-game, talking to a person, choosing the easiest path, and then skipping several events on it, or even have to do them if you get a non-combat one... another thing to add is the fairy code itself, while the tunnel one is three clicks + teleport, the one to the mini-game is 5 clicks + teleport, and those code wheels doesn't rurn that fast around also, the walk from burgh de rott is also so long that it adds up, just taking the fairy rings to the tunnel, running for it to the boat and going from there is much faster than the mini-game method i've tryed this out, with counters...
March 16, 200719 yr Yeah, but you may get some bonus things too along the way. It's not really a shorcut, just a more profitable way to travel. Also, of course, you can then temple trek back if you want to leave morytania with a bonus. ~ W ~
March 16, 200719 yr really, if you're doing that the way to get some speed in it, the only thing you'll get is a blue token, that would get you like 5 raw lobsters or something like that... if you are in barrows fun, then it shoudn't matter what way you do it... but if you are doing barrows for profit, then of cource the house teleport and tele to canifis is better, (for getting there, you could consider to bank in burgh de rott, or using noted pots/food for mort'ton general store. if you can't any of those two, or just like fairy rings, then the tunnel teleport is still pretty much faster than the mini-game way
March 16, 200719 yr i got 151 bs from a blue token...not really a bad way to go... Americans love to fight. All real Americans love the sting of battle. George S. Patton
March 16, 200719 yr hmm and if you were to run into a dangerous encounter? its luck Kiss me, i'm part Irish!
March 16, 200719 yr Not going to work, one ghast encounter or vampyre thing... You're done Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....
March 16, 200719 yr hmm well i mite try it idk if its quicker tbh most people here is saying its slower but i have never tried the minigame so ill check it out
March 16, 200719 yr Author Not going to work, one ghast encounter or vampyre thing... You're done no use the easy way and just evade every combat event Don't try to fix what isn't broken. aint trying to fix just discussing with experienced barrowers if its any good
March 16, 200719 yr Why not evade battles :-k ? Just take easy route and hope you get only evadeable events. And hope you don't get the one with sick people or the one where you have to that swamp thingy. If you get only evadeable events it takes about 30-60secs to finish the route.
March 17, 200719 yr correction: burgh de rott ramble, you spelled it wrong http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=615955click link to go to ganon95 productionsrunescape requires a lot of skills, napoleon dynamyte would love this game i am the proud owner of the quest point cape; all quests done 12/04/06
March 17, 200719 yr No, home teletabs -> pray at alter -> Canifis Portal -> Bank to restock on food -> Myreque Shortcut -> Swampboaty -> Barrows is still the fastest and BEST way too. you know there is a place called outside, better graphics 100% pvp and no fee to play :-w
